They’re coming soon. Please come Aleksander wants Jin safe.”
“I'm exhausted…” Medea said.
“I’ll carry both of you.” without another word picked both of us up.
The stress took the last of my energy. everything went black
I woke in a nice room in a soft bed with white covers. Hard polished wood clearly not abandoned. Modest yet pretty wall paper on the walls. With sunlight fliteting in the small window. I saw Medea sitting on a stool her upper body asleep on my legs. The woman we met sat patiently on a chair waiting.
“How did you know my name.” I asked skeptically.
“I watched over you when you were very young for your father. “
“Then what’s his name?”
“Seo Jun Nam currently 50 years old chronologicaly. He has black hair.”
So she isn’t lying…but…
“Miss Veritas told me about what happened to you. I know you don’t trust me anymore but I swear as leader of Labitule I’ll won’t both Hireath and Otto’s faction touch you.”
“But will you or your subordinates harm me?
Our conversation got cut off as the door opened. A young man looking remarkably like Alek but much taller. With long pink hair loose and flowy. A fancy waistcoat with embroidered purple butterflie with silver buttons. And a little chain attached to each corner of the purple collard shirt.
“I’m Enoch, I take it you’ve become good friends with my little brother.” He pulled thin vile from his breast pocket. The liquid a bright sparkly cyan color. “This will stabilize your vampiric half.”
Alek did mention having an older brother…”what is it? I asked suspiciously.
“It’s a antivamprsim potion in laymen’s terms poison.”
“Thar would harm me.”
“Let me put it this way either you can choose to continually suffer from your vampiric side out of wack or you can take very low doses and recover.”
“I’ll take it.” Eden helped me sit up. I took it and begin sipping “be sure not to drink too much or wouldn’t want my little brother’s lover dying.”
I nearly chocked on the medicine. “Pardon?”
“You seem close from his letters so you must be his lover.”
I coughd. “ he’s not my lover. I-don’t fancy men.”
Medea stirred
“Hmm? Oh Jin you’re awake…”
“Tsk, such a shame from what I’ve heard you’re quite the catch. Surely you’ve caught someone’s eye.”
If I could have flushed more I would’ve.
“Oh? So you have someone. Is it perhaps this lovely elf on your lap? She was awfully distressed when you came in.”
“He’s my lover yes…” Medea muttered still half asleep.
Enoch smirked but said nothing. “I see I didn’t need to wonder long.” He paused. “Are you two planning to share a bed?” There was a look of mischievous curiosity in his eyes.
Two young children bursting through the door saved me from talking. The girl leading the boy. Both resembled Enoch and each other with pink hair with streaks of white and with a little bit lighter skin tone than Enoch and red eyes of vampires. With pointy little elvish ears.
“Papa! Papa!” The little girl cried excitedly “you promised you’d plaaaayy with us.” The little boy looked half awake he rubbed his eye and yawned.
“I told you I’m treating Uncle’s friend. Why don’t you ask your mother?”
“Awww…okay…” the girl whined. “Come on Welt! Let's go ask Mama.” she dragged her brother with her. Just like Alek, interesting.
“Now, take this only this much once a day if you have adverse side effects let me know. You should be right as rain soon I’d estimate a month.” he turned to leave “I must excuse myself now. I have a business to run.”
With that I was left alone with Medea. Who sat up. “Whens the last time you drank blood?”
“I don't remember…”
“Here then allow me to offer my blood once again.” Medea took off her coat and unbottoned her shirt showing her breasts. Than laid on top of me.
My gazs fixated at her pulse through her neck. Her face flushsd her ear tips red. I bit down on her neck. Eagerly gulping down her blood. She shuddered her breathing heavy. Hands digging into me. When I was done I licked the wound slowly to see her reaction she tensed up.
Fatigue washed over me again. Medea arranged me so she was gently spooning me. We cuddled as we fell asleep.
…
A month later the treatment went as planned. But Medea started to show symptoms of coming down with something.
“Medea lets go down. You must be hungry”
Medea gagged. “Wait- I'm not feeling well. I think I might-” she dry heaved. Then ran to the small adjoined bathroom. I smelled vomit. I ran to her handheld back her loose hair until she was done. She rinsed her mouth and we hugged for a while.
“Medea do you want me to bring you breakfast?”
“No it's fine.” she pulled me close kissing me. We went down together to the tea house floor. Walking up to the current Labitule member acting as the tea brewer. “Ryoko, can I have matcha with milk and vanilla?” Medea asked.
“Don't you normally ask for earl grey?” I asked
Media wrinkled her nose “it's too bitter. I need something more sweet.”
“Isn't that why you liked it before?”
“It changed recently I suppose.”
“Any other strange things?” Just as I've gotten better she's fallen ill. Is she gonna be ok?
“I want macaroons really badly and I’ve been catching a chill like it's late November.”
“Are you sensitive to cold?”
“Not really, I was yelled at for going out in dead of winter in a nightgown as a child this is new.”
“Are you running a fever?” I felt her forehead it felt fine.
“Hmm…I can't quite put my finger on it but I'm not sick it passes by mid day the nausea. And I'm eating more.” Medea had a couple big apples with her muffin. “I'll show you what I mean.” she managed to consume it all with ease. “See? I'm fine.”
“Miss?” Enoch called out. “I can't help but over hear your conversation I have a feel you’d be interested in in taking a special test I have made.”
“For what?” Medea asked.
“From what I hear you're quite the vampire expert surely this wouldn't be hard to puzzle out.”
