The Safehouse...
It turned out that the North Korean soldiers solely attacked the Buada district. They passed through Aiwo district where the Nauru International seaport was located and also where the recruitment branch of the Buena Gente Agency was.
"So the good people turned out the bad people?" Nei asked jokingly. Aoi who was briefing them on the situation ignored him and continued.
"They have probably been in contact with the North for a while if not it doesn't make sense for the attack to have been so fast."
"So, what now?" Noa asked
"Our job doesn't change, we stay here and protect Kim Ha-Eun."
"...." Kim Ha-Eun remained silent while Aoi was briefing the group. It wasn't out of shock that her mother didn't care about her safety instead it was because she was starting at Nei.
Park Ji-Woo misunderstood and thought she was sulking because her mother didn't care about her.
"Princess, I am sure the Marshall had a plan in mind when she launched the attack. You are the heir to the Great North, she wouldn't have any intention of harming you."
"Thanks, Ji-Woo." She had no idea what he was talking about but it felt right to thank him.
"So in conclusion, this isn't the typical job?" Noa asked Aoi who kept talking about this and that.
"...Yes."
"Well.. it wasn't to this extent but who here didn't expect it considering the amount of money we got?" Sato jumped in on the conversation.
"But are we just going to leave the 'Good People' alone? Aren't they siding with the enemy?" Kenji spoke these words without care.
Kenji wasn't the type to care about others' feelings. It wasn't out of malice, he simply didn't care. That was why he could call Kim Ha-Eun's mother and the Park siblings Marshall 'the enemy'.
The Park siblings were irritated at his words but Kim Ha-Eun remained indifferent and spoke logically
"Mother probably launched the attack as a warning to Northwest Pro, she knows any more attacks will be impractical so there is no need to worry about the 'Good People' for now."
"Aren't they in an amicable relationship? Why send a warning then?"
Simon still couldn't gather any information on the North, so Nei wanted to use this opportunity to question Ha-Eun.
"That... I can't say."
Unfortunately for Nei, it wouldn't be so easy.
"Let's end it here."
Aoi dismissed the group. Aoi and Sato had to talk with Director Myung while Nei requested permission to leave the Safehouse for a while. The rest of the group would stay behind.

Northwest Pro Tower
Talent Acquisition Division, Team C room
"You only come to see me when you are in trouble huh, you bastard!"
Team leader Cho knocked Nei's head, he wanted to punch him but he made do with this.
"At least come see your hubaes every once in a while"
He was referring to the other members of Team C.
"Why are they my hubaes?"
"They are your juniors because they met you here. It's your fault for not accepting your promotion."
"Anyhow, so do you know anything about it?"
"North Korea... I know a guy who knows a guy that knows a guy. I can probably gather some information."
"Yes!! This is why I love you, old fart." Nei finally saw hope in his dangerous situation.
"Look at this bastard calling me an old fart again!"
"My bad, my bad. So when can you contact him?"
"Anytime. But I won't do it for free."
"I am rich now old fa- just tell me your price." Nei retracted what he was about to say and got to the point.
"I have enough money so I don't need yours but...if you handle a job that just came in recently, the info is yours."
"A job? I am already on one, how the hell am I supposed to do yours? Why does the Talent Acquisition Division have leftover jobs anyway?"
"I am handling it for a friend and you can work your situation out yourself. Just know that you aren't getting anything if you refuse."
"You are gonna be like this?"
"Yep."
"Shit, just tell me what kind of job it is. I will ask Aoi for permission later."
"It's a delivery job, you just have to hand a package over to someone at the port."
"Don't tell me...Aiwo?"
"Yeah, Aiwo district, the 'Good People's' territory. Who knows, you might be able to find something you need there."
"Hmm...I will do it. I just have to convince Aoi somehow."
"Good. Give me her response by tomorrow. Everybody in the tower is currently still pitching in to cover up news about the attack."
"Rest well, old fart." Nei was about to leave the room when Team Leader Cho stopped him.
"Nei...don't die, no matter what you do."
"....Who's worrying about who? Don't worry I won't."
....
A desolate place in North Korea
"Kyahhhhhhhh!"
Screams were ringing out and the sandy ground was dyed red with blood.
A pretty female with rolled-up sleeves holding a machete was covered in blood, her white clothing had completely turned red. It was the result of her cutting off the feet of two tied-up men. Her identity was none other than Kim Jung-Eun, the successor of the late 'North Korean Queen'.
She spat out blood that had gotten in her mouth and then raised her head to face the two frightened men who both didn't have their right feet anymore.
"It got in my mouth."
"Spa...re....us...s..is...tee..r."
They were the immediate siblings of Kim Jung-Eun, her elder brothers. They were both trying their best to talk through the pain they were feeling and plead for mercy.
"Brothers..mother would have been very sad in heaven if she had seen your attitude, standing still and doing nothing while your great nation was in turmoil"
"Sp...are....us...beg..you."
"I warned you to place your feet on my side if you didn't want it to be cut off, did I not?"
"We...will...no..w."
While the two brothers were begging for their lives, a soldier handed a handkerchief to Kim Jung-Eun. She ignored their plea and wiped the blood off her face.
"Pledge your allegiance to me."
"I..ple...edge...my...alle..gian..ce...to..mar..shall."
"I..ple...edge...my...alle..gian..ce....to..mar..shall."
"Good. My lovely brothers, it could have been easier if you had heeded my warning."
"You will live so don't worry about your feet. I expect great things from you two in this war."
She turned away from her siblings and spoke to the soldier who had been standing beside her.
"Take command of their troops and filter the goats from the sheep."
"Yes, Marshall!" He responded with a salute and left to tend to the siblings.
Kim Jung-Eun walked a bit further and what she saw was an unimaginable amount of armed soldiers. There were truckloads of them.
Fortunately, they weren't enemies instead they were the Korean People's Army who were a part of her faction.
"Ouuuuuuuuuu!"
They gave a loud battle cry to boost morale. It was because they were heading to war soon. The plan was to divide and conquer. They would launch a pincer attack at the location where Baba was presumed to be staying at.
Kim Jung-Eun wore a service cap and gave the order.
"We march!"
It was the beginning of a full-fledged war.
