Casper who had taken care of the issue regarding the dark pink-haired woman and the nobleman resumed his journey to go find Ophelia, who'd arrived later than expected.

But to his unfortunate surprise, she had disappeared. And him being the tall man he is couldn't spot her gleaming blonde head in the gala. 'Where could she have gone to in this large Palace?' he questioned as he turned his head scanning the surroundings. 

A light screech in the distance was picked up by his sharp ears. Immediately rushing in that direction he found a man laying on his stomach with a wounded back. "Leon!" a soft voice similar to a harmony cried out.

'Princess Ophelia!?' he quickly followed in the sound of her voice. Only to find her and the Duke of Crawford in an embrace under the moonlight in the beautiful scenery of the palace garden.

For a moment the Prince believed there to be some sort of romantic relationship between her and the Duke. But tried to disregard it instead.

He assumed some sort of spark between them as they peered into one another's eyes, and a swarm of rage possessed Casper. 

He stormed up to the two of them yelling " What are you doing with my Fiance?" And grabbed Ophelia's hand yanking her to his side. 

"Ahh! " she groaned in agony, as he squeezed her into his grasp holding her bruised arm. 

The Duke who was confused concerning this whole situation returned to his cold expression. "Ask her, you're the one who left her on her own," he replied. 

The Duke then gave a shallow smile, and bowed to Ophelia, then resumed his walk to wherever he was off to.

Casper immediately noticed Ophelia's red-stained cheeks and eyelids, then assuming the Duke had harmed her he pulled out his sword and pushed Ophelia behind him.

" You bastard! You harmed our valued guest, do you understand the punishment!?" The Prince yelled once more.

"Stop! What are you doing?!" Ophelia jumped out in front of him.

The Duke who heard the commotion behind him turned to see that little woman shielding him from the Prince's sword.

'Ha is she stupid, the Crown Prince wouldn't dare injure me. Even if he threatens to,' he mocked in his mind. 'This girl is quite interesting' he grinned.

Ophelia took the opening to run back to Leon 'If I have to endure this dream I'd rather spend it with Leon and not Casper', but before she could Casper had noticed and pulled her back.

" Stop! I'd rather stay with the Duke!" She bellowed. ' She'd rather what!?' he thought.

Casper felt yet again insulted, and his only solution was escaping.

Again pulling her hand he forced Ophelia into a separate corridor open to the garden.

' What is up with him? And why can't he let me be, it's my dream!' she told herself as she struggled against the crown prince. 

" Let me go! What is up with you guys always dragging me and picking me up like a doll!" She screamed, " It hurts!"

The white-haired prince sighed and threw her against the wall. 

Ophelia's back slammed against it, and she automatically was brought to the ground ' Ugh, and this as**ole was our male lead. Even in my dreams your forever the villain!' she cursed him in her mind.

" Ow!" She wailed whilst rubbing her back " That hurts you imbecile! And let me go back to the Duke!" 

Her words only provoked him further. Kneeling to her level, he squeezed her cheeks with his hand. "Listen here, I don't care if you want to see him. You're my fiance so you shouldn't be openly flirting with other men! Especially him!"

' Ugh, I wasn't even flirting, I didn't even get to tell him how to win Rosetta and avoid his tragedy. Though logically it would be useless,  I think it will just put my mind at rest if I could,'

Her colourful eyes filled with fury as she forced her face out of his grip and attempted at pushing him away " It's my dream! And I can do what I want! Your annoying self can't stop me from seeing him before I wake up,"

" What on earth?..." He broke his seriousness with a chuckle " You must be insane? Or are you drunk? You think you are in a dream,"

Ophelia's head suddenly hazed and her eyes began darkening ' I must be waking up,' "Yes...and I've always...wanted...to...tell...you-" the Prince became overcome with worry as Ophelia became wearier and wearier, her eyes opening and closing as if she was falling in and out of sleep.

"You've always wanted to tell me what?" he inquired whilst trying to hold her up.

"I...hate...yo-" without finishing her statement she was knocked out, falling headfirst into Casper's chest.

The next morning

Ophelia's POV

My sunken eyes slowly opened as I heard the sound of leaves fluttering in the wind and the sweet chirping of the birds.

"What! No way!" I screamed as I looked to my surroundings and saw a gigantic, royal chamber with walls dressed in pink and gold and myself in a large bed.

Rapidly running to a mirror I gasped as I caught a glimpse of my face " I...I'm still here!" I began to feel around my face " I'm really Ophelia?" I whimpered.

'Then that means I wasn't dreaming yesterday?! And not only did I hug that crazy Villain but I called him by his name! And then I proceeded to tell Prince Casper I hated him! How did I even get here and as Ophelia as well?' I squealed whilst ruffling my hair, then leaping onto my bed.

Then as the scene of my encounters played in my mind a dreadful feeling of regret possessed me as my face turned bright red "HOW HUMILIATING!" I bellowed, then grabbing my pillow I began to scream into it 'I should just die!' I thought as I began to suffocate myself with it. 'Who am I kidding!' I sighed as I threw away the pillow in anguish.

'Just what am I going to do...was I on drugs to behave in such an embarrassing way? Even if it was a dream, I was way too emotional,' I thought clutching my chest with tears at the corners of my eyes.

After calming down I regained my thoughts and rehearsed the plot, I currently entered at the very beginning before the main arch by 2 years.

In the stories main arc, Duke Leon is forming a secret organization that will dissolve the current Monarchy and instead, making him the Emperor. The Duke succeeds in doing this and whilst there is a civil war in the nation before he is crowned he goes to his second home in the outskirts of the capital.

To where he'd kidnapped Rosetta to, and kept her. Returning to tell her his good news he was met with Casper and a bunch of soldiers from the neighbouring Kingdom of Alira and the knights of some nobles.

That darned Prince used Ophelia's murder as an excuse to get her father's support, allowing him to gain power through my Kingdoms soldiers.

And that was the death of my beloved Duke Leon.

Later, after the Duke's defeat, the Crown Prince was to be crowned and wed to Rosetta. However, this book is a tragedy (ugh I was fooled by that darned Bora) and so their happy ending didn't last long.

After Leon had murdered the Emperor and his assisting high ranking nobles he revealed to the public the multiple crimes they had been doing and injustices they had committed. And so the public retaliated against Casper as their new emperor and so he was immediately dethroned. THey'd decided to dissolve the monarch completely.

All this left the strong and great Empire, unstable and many other Kingdoms and Empires seized the chance to battle them for more land. And Prince Casper couldn't handle the criticism and hate. 

And so he died by suicide, leaving the poor Rosetta who had been through so much alone. And in the hands of the furious public.

"Out of all novels why did I fall into this messed up one?! Literally none of the characters receives a happy ending!" I bellowed as I circled the room, " I also called the Duke by his name...no one knows it he'd made sure that if anyone uttered he'd kill them or cut off their tongues," but a moment of eureka hit me in that instant.

" That's it! I'll change the story! I'll make Leon the male lead instead, help him and Rosetta fall in love by giving him tips and distracting the Prince from Rosetta. Plus I can help the Duke with dissolving the monarchy and convince him to make Casper a noble or something," I celebrated to myself.

" I can do that...right?" I commenced in nervous laughter falling into a nervous cry " Ugh! Why me?!"

" You're highness?" Jennie entered " You seem to be up yet you did not call for me?" she worried.

" Oh yea, um...I'm up?" I reconciled.

A group of maids swarmed into my spacious room " Then we shall prepare you for the day,"

" Uhm, okay..."

After bathing, getting dressed and pampered. I was informed that I must go and meet with the Emperor, whom which I detest. Not only does he exploit his people's money in excess taxes. But also engages in illegal activity regarding the black market.

" Her Highness Princess Ophelia of Alira is entering,"

I elegantly strolled into the audience room on a perfectly straight red carpet, that only had his majesty the Emperor and the crown prince present. after reaching the end of the stage I curtsied and said my greeting.

"Hmph, what a shame..." the emperor stated as I had my head down.

Quickly lifting it up displaying a confused expression" Pardon?" I had blurted, he answered with a laugh "Your beauty is truly exquisite, in all my years I have never met such a stunning woman." he then turned to Casper and continued " See how much I love you son, I even gave you such a delight! I could've had for myself!" he chuckled even more.

' This mother f*****! I'm right here and he is referring to me as an object' I was overcome by anger but it quickly transformed into pity for Ophelia, surely if I heard people speak of me like this every day I'd disregard myself as a person too.

" Father," Casper replied " Isn't it awfully rude of you to speak of a person that way in front them, we shouldn't say you passed her down to me as if she were your possession. She is neither your person nor mine, but her own. And if she wishes to let go of this marriage I'll allow it, because through this whole process she was disregarded and passed around by her father and you," 

My heart was swarmed with a delightful feeling of relief one that moved my negative emotions completely ' He sees me for me...' a voice faintly spoke in the back of my mind. 

'Of course, I'm re-enacting a scene from the book!' I gasped ' The moment Ophelia is slightly moved by the Prince, anyway I should thank him he didn't need to help me even if it was written he would,'

" Casper!" his father yelled, him and I both flinched and his suddenly raised voice " If you're not happy with her than I shall take her back as my concubine!" he bellowed in all seriousness.

'What?! This isn't meant to happen!'
