Dan's face flashes a range of emotions from shock and worry to pure joy and excitement...

"So... that's why you were hiding from me all along?? But Rin had already informed us about the possibility. I had already imagined how cute you would look carrying Pup's siblings in there." Dan says with sparkly eyes.

His happiness is contagious enough to wither away all my worries into thin air. I find myself stupid for avoiding him in the first place rather than just talking it out...

Nevertheless, my instincts made me act overly sensitive every time I sensed Dan's presence, while my heart just wanted to throw myself in his arms and stay there forever...

All this time my Chocipie's scent helped me soothe my worries so I latched on to him almost all day when I was not working. It broke my heart to see Dannie walking on eggshells around me but I could hardly do anything to amend that out of fear of rejection...

At work, Emily was the same sweetest person towards me while scolding Max every time he was caught red-handed in his little adventures to escape work... However, when his college break started, he began to spend more time working in the kitchen with me. Turns out he is an amazing cook who can prepare the most delicious pasta I have ever tasted! He also started teaching me stuff around the kitchen since I said that I wanted to cook for my Honeybear back at home.

I had noticed that he displays this sad smile whenever I mentioned my little family, guess it was still a sensitive topic for him to talk about... Although he exhibits a strong front, he might be missing the presence of his Dad sometimes too...

"Love? Are you still worried about something?" Dan asks tugging me out of my train of thought.

"No Dannie... I'm just happy" I say burying my face in his firm chest, bathing myself in the most calming scent in the world.

"But Babe, I don't understand... Rin ran all the tests and we did sonography too, how did she never find anything???" Dan asked with sudden realization dawning on his features.

"Umm... Rin speculated something was changing with my hormones aligning in a similar way to pre-pregnancy but it was too early to say anything..... So...uhh... she left me some pregnancy kits to test after some time and let her know how it turns out." I revealed the little secret talk of ours when Rin had thrown Dannie out of the room the day our little drama began.

"Anddd???" Dan urges me to continue unable to contain his excitement.

"The tests began to turn lightly positive for a few days..... but... But they came to be confirmed positive only the day before yesterday. I did share the news with Leah and she had  promised to keep it from Rin and you until I was comfortable..." I explained with a hint of guilt tugging my heart for keeping things from my Love.

"Oh! It's alright Babe...I'm over cloud nine currently and just knowing that it's nothing alarming is a huge relief!" Dan grins ear to ear and pulls me into a kiss suddenly causing me to melt into a puddle of nothingness.

"I'm glad you made friends with Leah..... Also, I want to apologize... I should have been more persistent..." Dan says with a small smile while his eyes hold sadness. 

Watching his state at present makes my heart wrench, so I pull Dan into a quick kiss in hopes of gaining his stupidly sexy grin back on his equally delicious lips. As soon as our lips touch, his grip over my waist tightens and he smashes back our lips again instantly sending sparks coursing through my body leaving us breathless enough to pull away, yet our eyes refuse to leave each other's sight. 

I thank all my stars for keeping me sane enough to witness this sight! Dan's fully flushed face, nearly into a shade of magenta, lies just a few inches away from mine!

However, the moment doesn't last long since my Lover decides to shy away for the first time and flips me so that my back is against his wide chest. I shift backward a little and freeze in my spot when something hard touches my ass. 

Dan rubs his head on my back like a cute shy kid who is trying to smoothen over his mistake.

"Stay... Babe, please stay like this for a while and try not to move... Hmm?" Dan says in a rather pleading and strained voice to which I give a quick nod of affirmation.

A loud exhale...

"Let's go to Rin's place and get you checked up again to know that everything is fine here inside," Dan says while he pats my lower belly causing me to blush violently...

All the thoughts that had me trembling with fear a few days back have now become the reason for our happiness with cute baby pictures floating in my mind.

'Let's make it a whole bunch of babies, turn around and just grab that d*** already!' my inner Devil bursts my happy bubble...

'I don't mind a little grinding' my Angel mumbles with a blush joining hands with the shitty Devil.

'Scram... Shoooo!' I wave my hand mentally to dismiss the evil thoughts seeded by my inner creatures.

"Dannie... I want to pee" I try to squirm out of his hold sensing the pressure inside my bladder.

Dan inhales my scent with a deep breath and gives me a tight squeeze before letting me go.

"Can I join you for a shower Babe?" my Boyfriend asks flashing me his cutest puppy eyes, to which I nod in a hurry and lock myself in.

After finishing my business, I open up the locked door to our enormous washroom and I'm about to call out for Dan and as soon as I peek outside a certain giant puppy stands at the door with his imaginary tail wagging at full speed! 

'Wow! You have turned our sexy Daddy into a giant dufus of a husky!' my Devil rolls his eyes.

'I'll take that as a compliment since he resembles his Pup right now!' I counter my Devil with a toothy grin.

I'm taken by surprise when a pair of wet lips land on mine...

"I've missed that adorable smile of yours so very much Babe!" Dan says with a satisfied smile and lifts me like a bride in that very moment causing me to giggle when he swings me like he's about to throw me around. I hold on to him for my dear life and laugh my butt off till we hit the shower.

After landing on the floor safely, I start to take off my clothes, feeling shy as I sense Dan's heated gaze over my back... My body begins to heat up at the mere thought of his sight on me.

"Come here Babe, I'll help you wash up... I don't think it's a good idea for us to get butt naked...together" he says while scratching the back of his head, smiling sheepishly.

While on the other end, I have to take a deep breath and mute my demons stomping in my head, demanding me to do wishy-washy stuff with Dan. 

We both sigh at the same time which causes us to crack up at our silly predicament. Dan approaches me slowly and runs the warm shower.

He carefully washes my hair, asking me thousands of times if I was alright or whether the soap got into my eyes. After finishing with me he wraps me in the softest towel and brings me to the couch like a bag of potatoes.  He had shifted this couch from the corner right in front of the shower cabin. He lays me down and pats my head while his eyes ooze with adoration.

'Love, can you just stay here for five minutes?' he asks and it's only after receiving a clear affirmation that he leaves me in that cozy place to proceed back for his shower.

I watch him through the foggy glass as Dannie takes off his sweatpants together with the last piece of clothing slowly as if teasing me purposefully.

'Ohhh my thousandth Lorddd! I'm getting pulled in by this one hell of a sexy offspring of yours!' my inner Devil moans.

'I gotta keep my eyes closed... I gotta keep my eyes clos....ed... Ooppps!' my Angel chants while boring holes at my man already drooling at the sight in front of us.

'Fuck off you leaches!! Just vanish already! 3... 2... 1!' I close my eyes for a sec to lock them in a dark void and sigh in relief when no more voices echo inside my brain.

"You alright Love?" Dan asks with a spec of worry in his beautiful eyes.

"Yes..." I reply sheepishly averting my eyes from his almost half-erect member in a flash of a second. 

"My bad," he says turning back to the shower with a teasing tone in his voice.

"I'm sorry Babe but having you sitting over there checking me out is so damn hot and I can't help myself... But don't worry, I won't be jumping you yet.....that is until we are given the green flag from Rin to do so..." Dan winks at me as he finishes off washing his hair, pulling them behind, making him look like one of those sexy CEOs from Manga.

 

I bury myself in the couch, hiding my face, trying my best to avoid boring holes into my steamy hot boyfriend... But do I succeed?? Absolutely NO!

After finishing our shower and changing into some comfortable clothes, that is Dan's mint hoodie and my favorite black shorts for me, we have our brunch. All this time I latch myself to Dannie like a leach while he enjoys every bit of the affection.

We decide to head toward Rin's place first and then if things are good we decide to drop by Emily's after that.

 I wanted to include Em in our little family secret since she has been so precious, almost like a mother to me since the very first day. Although all I offered in return were difficult situations due to my condition and absences from work without prior notice, she always welcomed me with a wide smile and a warm hug. Even Dan had something t to discuss with her. 

He wanted me to take leave until my condition stabilizes but... I wanted to see Em often and staying at home when my Chocopie is at school and my Lover at work was a rather boring idea plus, my thoughts would not let me have peace of mind alone.

I'm glad Dannie gave in and let me work as long as my body stays fine... Or until my baby bump is hard to hide...

We are ready to leave, I lace my hand in Dan's and he lands a sweet kiss on my lips as we walk out towards the garage.

"Lexieee...I'm home!" A happy Pup dashes towards us and we stop in our tracks.

"Yes my Meatball, your Dadda is right here.,.guess you don't see him anymore..." Dan lifts his son in his arms feigning hurt.

"Uhh... Ummm no Dadda... Jan loves you so muchhh!" My Chocopie says spreading his tiny hands to show his love and tilts his head shooting the best puppy eyes he can towards Dan making both of us chuckle at his cuteness.

"How sweet of my Pup!" Dan places a kiss over his cute son's pouting lips.

"Let's take Chocopie with us. Em was missing him too! Right, Arthur?" Jan and I give a pleading look to Dan while I notice Arthurs's face lighting up at the mention of Emily's name.

"How can I ever say no to you cuties!" Dan says pecking both of our cheeks.

"Arthur you are coming... Right?" Dan says teasingly as he closes my door while Arthur just nods with a hint of blush and small smile which he fails to contain.

 He takes his driver's seat rather hurriedly and off we go...
