Incubus, Succubus, whenever something happens to anyone's relationship, those two are the ones to blame.
The evil spirits, the demons, and the hungry creatures for sexual actions. No one ever cared about their origins, all they cared about is their disappearance. If they disappear forever, then everything will be alright. Everyone will live happily ever after.
[ Victorian Era ]
[ Outside King William's castle ]
"Those asshole humans are at it again" a demon grumbled while watching a group of people gathering at the front door of their king's castle, "seems like our vessel's life is coming to an end~"
"Hmm, I guess we should find another source of energy."
"But no one fits our standards though~" Another demon grumbled.
"Take that or go back to the demon king," everyone shivered and put their heads low horrified by the idea of going to the demon king. Yes, he's more helpful since he's the only one with endless energy, but consuming his energy is exhausting, and many Succubus lost their lives because of that.
As the king of all demons, he has a unique ability to control his energy and the amount he could release to his dear Succubus demons, but he's the most sadistic creature so he doesn't give them for free, plus his joy to watch them whimper and beg him for more before he releases huge amount and sometimes kills them makes him the most feared being, even in heavens, whenever his name is mentioned, all angels would tremble and run away as far as they could, this is how much he's feared.
The demons walked out and rushed to the woods while watching their vessel getting pulled out of his castle before he was burnt at the front gates, "tsk, let's go, I can sense the holy power approaching!" A demon yelled and flew away with the others except for one, he was a male succubus named Hun, or that's what he prefers to be called instead of his twin's name Oriana. His twin died because of the demon king's indifference to her dangerous state back then, so because of the similarity between them, everyone started calling him Oriana.
For them, Oriana was a successful demon compared to her twin Hun, she managed to save the ground of life for demons, and the king himself acknowledged her and put her above all.
Sadly, that privilege didn't last because she was caught by the holy soldiers who brought her in front of the four holy priests who were gifted by God's strongest four angels, Michael, Gabriel, Raphael, and Uriel. The four gave their abilities to four wisely chosen humans who then became the wings of archangels.
Oriana kneeled in front of their light and was left stunned for a moment before she started laughing hysterically and screaming at the four priests in front of her how failures they were to go to that road instead of enjoying the joy of life. She was planning to enchant them, but Michael appeared in front of her and slashed her head off before he threw it to the dogs in the dead world.
Hun walked down to the church, he stared at the entry before he collected his courage and entered in a human form. He walked toward the statue of one of the worshipped archangels, Michael, his sister's killer. He stared at it for a few moments before he walked to one of the seats some were sitting on.
He saw them holding their hands close to their chests with their heads bowing down, so he did the same. He stared at his feet, what should he do next?
'Ah, I miss my sister... I hope she's doing well wherever she is. I hope her soul found a better body even if she's in a human's one, and she's living a decent life, he thought, or to be more specific, he prayed.
He doesn't know it's that, so he thought he just requested something, though they're not far different from each other.
A wave of cold wind blew behind him. When he turned his head, he was faced with four people hiding under white coats with the archangels' four wings sewn on the back, and olive branches on the side right on their chests made as a heart with four wings hugging them, their eyes were flashing scarily at him. Three of them walked away except one, she walked toward him and sat behind him.
"Don't worry Hun, your sister's soul is still caged until the right body is found for her. You want her to live a better life and that's what we'll give her since you came to pray" The woman smiled sweetly making Hun's face flush before his eyes became red and teary, "you know? You're the first demon to ever come here and ask for something from us. Why not ask for something for yourself? Hmm?" Hun remained silent while sobbing from happiness.
When he found out his sister was caught and her head was fed to the dogs of the dead world, he rushed to the demon king asking him to regain at least her soul so it can find a new body in her new life, but the demon king didn't care at all and even asked him to leave his land if he's going to be persistent like that.
"I- I wanna tha- Thank you archangel, I wa- Want to pay m- My debt" The woman tilted her head and thought for a moment before her smile grew bigger.
"Then, be one of my temple's sisters. You can't be a priest because your soul is too dark to be blessed in a short duration, so while your soul is being cleansed, by one of the sisters!"
"Wh- Why a sister though?"
"Because my temple compared to the others' only accepts females, even the saints chosen are females."
"That's very mean, your holiness."
"Take it or leave it!"
"Ok! Sheesh" The woman smiled warmly and stood from her seat, "good, now come dear child, let's start our journey for your soul's cleansing, and the beginning of your new life."
Hun felt a thump in his heart then his blood started to pump fast through his body with heat boiling every inch of him from excitement for breaking the rules and doing something forbidden for demons.
