And with sparkling eyes,

I see the Earth 

spiral away beneath me:

no fear, no sense of depth

only a picture, oneiric,

a collage of green squares fading

ever smaller…

And I recall

the quiet of drifting

secure in the sky,

The wind a weightless 

companion

As I hang above

the orb

of the world.
