But it was as if she was born into this world instead. Covered in orc blood from head to toe, like a warrior who defeated an entire army. Urayama stood with one foot on the orc's belly and carrying the orc's head in her hands.
Fire Jed shivers from the crazed look in her eyes, "what a scary person." He mutters. She was fearless and adapted way sooner than anyone would have thought.
"It's more fun than I wanted to admit." Urayama says walking over and tossing the head to Fire Jed. She prepared the harvesting tools she acquired from Rallmul. The first thing she did was cut the orc down to size and into meat sections before she put them all into the spatial sack.
She glanced back at them with a smile, "Shall we continue?" She asked.
They continued forward, Fire Jed and Tiger Claw endured hours of her cutting down anything she redeemed edible. From wolves around E rank to Orcs around D rank. All of the hunting done without their help. She harvested everything from hide to the meat on her own.
"We should head back, the sun is starting to set in the west." Tiger Claw pointed out.
Urayama felt like she could do some more hunting but knew the longer she was out, the more that child would go hungry. "Alright, let's head back." She agreed.
(Back at the Palace)
Rallmul and Tahara stood before the throne. It seems there was a problem in the kitchen that has yet to be solved. Alban was not sure why they came to him with their problem, it's not like he could help them fix it.
"There are hardly anything in there to use and it's infested with rats. How can I work in such a kitchen?" Tahara asked.
Rallmul glares, "Just work. If it's that bad, get rid of them." He was saying.
Alban could feel an headache coming along when the doors to the throne room opened to reveal Urayama and her slaves. She noticed the two already standing before the throne, "what's this? Fighting already?" She asked tossing Tahara the spatial sack.
"Is this...?" He started to ask.
"It's at least two months worth of meat. Hope you have a storage space to put it." She cuts in.
Rallmul frowned at her blood soaked clothes, "you dare come in here like that. You're dirtying the floors." He says.
She waves a hand at him, "wow, you're naggy. I'm beat, so I'll go and get myself cleaned." She turned to leave but paused. She points at Fire Jed then at Tiger Claw.
"Also, I don't need those. They're only a nuisance, so take them back." she says.
If Rallmul wasn't already red, he'd probably look like a beet root right about now, "are you ordering the Lord? Woman, I'll kill you." He seethes.
"SILENCE!!" Alban ordered. His voice echoed throughout the throne room. In order for him to put impact into it, he had to gather the mana in the air.
Everyone was finally quiet, yet he still had that damned headache. He needed to let them understand who the master of this palace was. The humans are out of control and Rallmul was letting them walk all over them.
"First, Rallmul, as the one from this world, you mustn't stoop to the same level as them. Second, Urayama, I didn't ask for your permission. If Fire Jed and Tiger Claw are not useful to you, then kill them. It's a shame since they are quite skilled. And lastly, never come to me unless its important. All task can be dealt with by Rallmul. Be sure to treat him with respect!" Alban ordered loudly.
He stood and waved them all out of the throne room, "you are all dismissed!" He yells.
They all quickly left the room, Urayama raised her hand to cover a yawn. No one said anything for a bit as they stood there, "so what now?" Tahara asked.
"What else can we do but what the Lord said?" Urayama asked. She flipped her hand at them, "I'll be going to wash up now." She glanced over at Fire Jed and Tiger Claw. It looks like she was stuck with them.
Damn, she had forgotten the kid was a demon until he spoke just now. She walked away leaving the others still standing before the throne room's door. "I guess I'll go clean the kitchen and store this stuff, can you help me?" Tahara turns to Rallmul.
Why were these humans so weird?
In the meantime Alban realized that he needed to establish an hierarchy or things won't be done properly. To begin with, since Rallmul is a devil, he was much stronger than the humans. He also has a chance to become even stronger in the future.
But because he's a butler, putting him at the top of the ranks may be a problem. For now, it should not be, not until more heroes are summoned, then he'll have them fight for their ranks.
He should set up general ranks as well, these twelve will stay at the top ranks no matter what. Alban stood, gives a lengthy sigh, and made his way to the kitchen. Before that, let's go see what there is to eat. He's starved!
In the kitchen
Thanks to Rallmul and Asai, Tahara could breathe well in the kitchen. He was was so inspired that he decided to make a large meal for everyone. He hopes the young master likes what he cooks.
Alban enters as the aroma of nicely scented meat filled the room. Whatever it was, smelled delicious. "You have arrived, Young Master. Just sit here, the food will be done soon."
The others came into the kitchen right after, "Woah, what is that?" Urayama says practically drooling.
Tahara raised a hand, "stop right there, you don't think you'll be eating here with the Young Master, am I right?" He asked.
Rallmul was glad someone said it. The nerve of these humans! Tahara made Alban's plate first, as for the others they grabbed their plates and were sent to the dining room where servants are said to have their meals.
Alban was glad to get a nice meal after being in the world for so long. Tomorrow he had to summon more heroes, and he knew just the kind he needed. This food was tasteless and only smelled good. But despite that, he got a small permanent strength buff from the meal.
