"Since you're already kneeling, I will begin with introductions. The person sitting on the throne is from here on out, Your King, Demon King Alban. The 25th Demon King and hopefully the last." Rallmul faced the throne and gave a bow to show his respect.
He then faced them again, touching his own chest, he introduced himself, "and I am his loyal servant and butler, Rallmul, a red devil. The three of you have been summoned here as heroes to serve our Lord. As you have seen from your profiles. I would like to take note that there are others like yourselves who are human and have also been summoned by the lord. From now on they are your comrades and not your enemy." Rallmul says.
There were humans among monsters? Weren't humans their enemies? Judging from their expressions, Alban could feel their animosity. Things won't just fall into place just because he want it to. A few more heroes and he will start establishing a hierarchy.
"You may rise." Rallmul says to the kneeling monsters.
They stood and managed to finally get a chance to look at the boy on the throne. With his human-like appearance anyone would suffer from deep hatred. But that would be stupid, since there are lots of humanoid demi-humans and monsters. Even they could sense the demon blood from that child.
Wrajius chose that moment to speak, "do we not have a say?" He asked.
"Once a hero is summoned it cannot be undone. I think the only way out would be death. Do you wish to die?" Rallmul asked.
There was nothing but silence. At that moment, Asai and Urayama entered the throne room.
"Huh, what are those?" Urayama asked pointing at the new arrivals.
Before anyone could answer, Urayama eyes sparkled excitedly as she drew nearer to Wrajius, "you, you're a beast!" She exclaims loudly.
Wrajius frowns at her, "a beast? Are you insulting me?" He asked.
She waved her hand as if clearing the air of something, "not a chance. I'm just saying, you look like that, but I can smell you're true strength. You're what they call a Minotaur, right?" She asked.
She didn't know any other monster types, but she knows this one? "Are you like this because you think I'm strong?" He asked.
She nods in answer. Did they summon a battle junkie? "I'm afraid I should disappoint you. As of now, he's in a weakened state due to a curse. I highly doubt he'd be able to satisfy you in a fighting match." Rallmul tells her.
She quickly turned her attention to him, "then what about you? I can sense that you are much stronger compared to everyone here." She says.
Rallmul shook his head, " I won't squabble with you. Unfortunately, you are are way too weak to handle me. Grow stronger and then I'll think about it." He rejects.
"Tch." She clicks with disappointment.
Are they going to continue as though he's not here? Its time then. Alban decided to use his new skill Killing Intent. It should affect everyone here, but it will not be much to Rallmul.
The ones who could feel the strong aura coming from the throne were feeling the pressure to the point of being brought to their knees again. For Rallmul, it was enough to make him submissive but not to kneel.
That pressure coming from a child made them understand something. One, he really wasn't human, and two, he's weak if he can't bring a Devil to his knees, but he's definitely still a Demon King. Could it be that with the title Demon King, he's still strong enough to kill a human at their level, but not as grand as a stronger Demon King?
It only made sense.
"These three are the new heroes. Since you are here, I have decided to start a hierarchy among you. But, first I want to summon at least twelve more heroes. I plan to create 12 Devil Hero Factions that are leaders of their own groups. No matter what, if you become one you must be able to defeat over a hundred thousand high ranking people." Alban tells them.
Telling them this meant they will tell this to new summoned heroes, and he wouldn't have to keep noting it every time.
"It's a great idea, My Lord." Rallmul says.
Next, he told them that they will be assigned task that affiliate with their class so they can level up in that specific profession. There are no learning anything new until they are absolutely masters at their own skills.
When he was done talking he released his killing intent. They were finally allowed to stand. It's a good thing his killing intent wasn't too suffocating, but imagine when he becomes stronger, they may actually die!
Outside the throne room they were splitting in different directions, "will anyone tell Chef what the lord mentioned?" Asai asked.
Urayama shook her head, "what for? That guy won't get involved in the battle of Devils to begin with. He's only a cook." She says.
She does have a point there.
"So, I'm guessing the Lord wants us to figure out how to dispel our own curses. But to do that we have to remember how we somehow got cursed in the first place." Donda mutters.
The other two nod in agreement. It's going to be a tough one, since it starts with the source, and they have been to many dungeons that harbor black magic as the main focus. So, any one of them could have cursed them.
"Well, while you guys are doing that. I'll train alone in the training field. Thanks to Asai here, its been repaired to a decent amount." Urayama says making her way down the hall.
"What a strange human." Wrajius says.
