That child was an evil being. It was clear to them that he was not a normal demon. Only the humans could see a child sitting on top of a throne trying to play ruler. They were expecting someone else to come and grab the kid from the throne. But nothing like that happened.
"What is this?" He asked his eyes that glowed red looked down at them as though they were ants.
"This is that Devil's doing. It seems he has bought a few slaves and there's this." Urayama holds out a rolled up piece of paper.
Alban waved her to come forward, it would be the first time she ever got this close to the throne. When she dropped the paper into his small and pale hands, she immediately went back to her spot.
Alban unrolled the paper and read its contents. It looks like Rallmul had bought slaves in order to add servants and warriors to serve the Demon King. He re-rolled the paper, seriously, this was more than he wanted to deal with. Since they are already here, he might as well check what their abilities are and assign them to the right departments. With this, he'll have to ask for Urayama's help.
Her, Fire Jed, and Tiger Claw sorted through the people using the magic sphere that Rallmul left behind. They managed to sort the slaves into four different categories based on skills since most of them were classless.
To begin, there were Twenty warriors, only five of them were human, five were demi-humans, and ten were monsters. Out of the demi-humans, two were elves, two were tiger people, and one was a dwarf. As for the monsters, there were five lizard men, and five hobgoblins. And out of the humans, there were two women and three men with basic combat abilities.
Sixty of the slaves were either servants or palace guards. Thirty were servants, the other thirty became palace guards. They'll be training as such with Fire Jed. While the servants will work under Rallmul. The last ten were assassins that will train under Tiger Claw.
Alban made a promise that if these two proved their loyalty to him, there may be a day he released them from their slave contract. He also pointed out that if they betrayed his trust he would make their lives a living hell. Now that he's gotten a bit stronger, he should not have a problem taking care of low level humans and non humans.
After everyone left to prepare, Alban thought that today was a good chance to summon new heroes. What will he summon today?
"My Lord, Rallmul has returned from the market!" A servant came rushing through the throne doors.
Rallmul dismissed them as he came in, and quickly turned to bow down toward Alban, "My Lord, I'm back." He says.
"Welcome back, distribute the items you bought. Then return, we'll be summoning new heroes today." Alban tells him.
"Yes, My Lord." Rallmul bowed again before leaving the throne room, the first place he visited was the kitchen where Tahara was preparing for the next meal.
"You came back, did you get my ingredients?" He asked pulling out a rusty pan.
"Let alone ingredients, I also got some new pots, pans, and utensils. I also got some new plates and cups. Let me know if anything is missing." Rallmul tells him.
Tahara's expression changed to shock, "wow, you got more than what I asked for. How did you do it? Last I checked you didn't know you're way around the kitchen." He says.
Rallmul admitted to getting help from a vendor. It took him a while to find the things Tahara wanted, but thanks to a random vendor, he managed. He left Tahara so that he could put everything away. His next stop was Asai, who was luckily near the staff room.
For him, he had building material inside one of the spatial sacks he bought at the market. After the auction, he earned a lot for the treasury, so he had no problem buying high quality items.
"Thanks, this was helpful." Asai says waving him off. Rallmul left to head to the next location. On the way, he met two of the slaves who were cleaning the palace halls. It looks like he'll have to start calling them servants now that they were assigned jobs befitting their skills. He exited out through the back to where the training room was.
There he ran into Urayama, Fire Jed, and Tiger Claw. Each of them seemed to have a small group with them doing light training.
"Hey, it's Butler Ral, he must be here with the equipment." Fire Jed points out as soon as he spots him.
Butler Ral? Is that supposed to be his new nickname? He tossed Urayama her spatial bag, 'there should be about ten weapon types in there just as you had wanted. I also added a few extra."
"Thanks. By the way, you really did a lot today. Buying servants even though the Lord never asked you to." She says tossing the spatial bag to one of the trainee warriors.
"He never complained, so why are you?" He asked.
"I'm not. I was just making a statement. Since you're done here, are you going back to see the Lord?" She asked.
"Don't worry about it. You just worry about training the new warriors I hired." He stated dryly. Rallmul turned back and went inside. The first thing he did was head back to the throne room.
"He must be the tsundere type." she mutters with a chuckle.
Urayama faced the warriors, "get back to it, weaklings!"
