Uriel flew down to Earth, and before she reached her temple, she formed into a human and walked inside with her long golden locks wobbling.
The sisters inside welcomed her nicely not knowing that the gorgeous woman is the Archangel they lived for, "ah, your holiness, what brought you here on this fine day?"
"Hun" she looked around searching for the demon. Her vessel tapped her chin trying to remember where he was, "Ah! Now I remembered, he- Ahem, she went to the confession room, your holiness. She remembered something from the past and asked me to check on her after a few minutes until she was brave enough to confess."
"I see, thank you, I will take care of things from here."
"Yes, your holiness. Please take care and enjoy your stay here" She bowed down before she walked away leaving her Archangel to take care of the demon she was assigned to take care of.
In the confession room, Hun sat on the chair and tapped his finger on his knee, he was in a woman's body and wearing the sisters' clothes, at first, when he was assigned to Uriel's temple, he was uncomfortable with wearing those clothes, but thanks to that he was safe from any danger, and he was able to start cleaning his dark soul.
He thought he wouldn't be able to sense it, but he started feeling lighter a few days ago, thanks to that, more memories flooded, and with that, his visits to this tiny room increased too. Thanks to Archangel's wing, Hun was able to let go of a lot of things burning him down, and he was energetic to do better work in the temple.
The door to the small room next to him just shut, and a rustle was heard clearly from there. Hun took a deep breath and waited a few seconds before starting. It was a rule between the two so they can know it was them. Hun can't confess what he remembers to anyone, and the Archangel's wing isn't allowed to listen to any confessions unless Uriel allows her.
Hun changed his body to his original and sighed, "Your holiness? I remembered something horrible... I- I was walking down the street in the 15th century. I was alone and it was dark, there was no one outside since it was past midnight. Th- The guards saw me and- And screamed 'witch!' I- I was scared and I wanted to run away but I couldn't, my body for some reason was heavy, and- And- I felt the darkness roaming around me at that moment so I didn't know what to do... Your holiness? What do you think? After that memory, I saw nothing but darkness, could it be I became a demon after that time? Did I perhaps die after they attacked and burned me with their torches?"
Uriel listened closely to everything Hun said, it was weird to hear a human's confession, but thanks to that she was enlightened about him and the possible reasons why Michael acted the way he did before, but that still doesn't justify why he said Hun was far from forgiveness, even souls after death have a chance for salvation, but those are rare cases in case the soul something good in life and forced them to give it one last chance for repenting.
"But I don't think I did horrible things in my life to receive such punishment to become a devil... Unless a mistake had happened?"
'No, that's impossible,' Uriel thought. Such mistakes can never happen because each soul needs to pass between 2 to 6 angels before it reaches one of the Archangels to be passed to God for the last judgment, so the choices given can never be a mistake.
"Sigh, that's all I wanted to tell you, your holiness. Thank you for listening to me again, I'm sorry I keep troubling you with those matters of mine, I'm very grateful, every single time" Uriel looked from between the holes and saw the warm smile on Hun's face, it was a sincere one, a real smile far from fake.
She walked outside the room and went to her Wing, "Protect Hun no matter what, Michael is planning to send one of his priests to stay here. He's probably talking to his wing about this matter by now."
"I would like to ask for your reasons, but the fact you two brought this matter hastily, means the Demons' King is involved" Uriel groaned and held her forehead before she started to rub it to ease the coming pain, "bingo."
"Michael said he's important and it will be very dangerous if he went back to the Demons' King" Uriel's Wing tilted her head and hummed, she thought for moments and folded her arms, "yea, I think it's a good idea to keep him here. At least no one can recognize him here, plus he's a succubus so having him here will at least protect the men in Michael's temple from his temptation and getting their energies sucked 'till the last drop"
Uriel halted and thought once again who the man Michael chose was "the person Michael will bring here..." She mumbled.
[ A week later ]
"I heard the person coming is a man!"
"Really? I thought men are forbidden in Archangel Uriel's temple!"
"The Archangel's Wing brought a message saying Archangel Uriel accepted him since Archangel Michael recommended him!"
"If Archangel Michael recommended him then there's no need to worry! Everything he says is the best fit for all parties!"
"That much is expected of the strongest Archangel, the warrior and most handsome of all, the Archangel Michael~!!"
"Oh dear, there she goes again~ Hahahahaha"
"Stop laughing at me~!!!"
"Well, I also heard all those in his temple are the finest species living~"
"I guess we won't be sure until we see for ourselves~"
"You're right~ Hehehehe"
The sisters giggled and walked away after they collected the laundry. Hun walked out of the shadow and stared in the direction the sisters headed into. It's not surprising for him anymore, they're humans after all and those types of feelings are normal to be had or they'll be angels, then that won't be the purpose of their existence.
"A man is coming here" he mumbled, "hmm. I, too, wonder what he looks like. I hope he's handsome, this will be a good chance to practice my restrain ability and see for how long I can hold back around men with white souls."
