"Sister Oriana~!!!"
"Oh dear, what happened?" Oriana rushed to where the screaming little girls were, she found one of the three on her knees crying, so she bent down and checked on her, the little girl's palms were scratched and her leg was bleeding a little. Luckily, it wasn't serious so a band-aid can do the magic.
"There we go~ Be careful next time when playing in the garden, there are rocks around so make sure to watch your steps!"
"Ok, Sister Oriana~!!! We will be careful" the girls said cheerfully and walked back to their parents who finished praying in the temple.
"Oh! Sister Oriana! How about you go and rest for a bit? We will take care of the rest~"
"Thank you, Sister Anna!" Oriana said excitedly and rushed to the praying room. She was in a great mood and wanted to thank Archangel Uriel for sending peace and warmth to her once again. When she reached the huge room, a lot of people were inside, sitting on the chairs and praying, at the far end of the room, Uriel's wing was taking care of preparing the donations for the poor who will come once everyone left.
Oriana wanted to go and help her but she saw a man beside her, she only saw his back but she was able to tell he was the priest from Michael's temple by his white coat with the signature of a huge bloody wing hugging a sword which resembles the war angel, the Archangel Michael.
Based on the orders all the sisters received, they all must try their best to avoid the priest until he leaves the temple, but Oriana was curious, why did he want to be hidden? Was he ugly? Or did he have a scary scar and didn't want to scare the sisters? But he was still able to stand beside Uriel's wing, could it be because she's used to that stuff so she's not afraid?
Oriana realized she was staring for too long when her eyes met the wing, she jolted and rushed to the other side of the room and enter their chambers' hallway.
Uriel's Wing chuckled making the priest look at her and the direction she was looking at, he caught a glimpse of a woman running toward the sisters' chambers, "is she one of the sisters?" He asked hoping she is so he doesn't go and investigate her.
"Yea, she's one of the most dedicated sisters in this temple, I guess I scared her when she decided to come and pray, haha"
"Then don't you think you should go and ask her to come back and do her duty?"
"Hmmm, I could, but thanks to a certain someone who didn't want to be seen by any of the sisters, I can't call her now" She glanced at the man who turned into a rock, sweat formed on his forehead and hands, he scratched his neck and turned to look at the direction the sister ran into.
"I apologize to you and the sisters in this temple, I didn't expect my request to burden you all"
"It's ok, Sister Oriana prefers to pray at night more because it's more peaceful and she can sense the Archangel and her creator's love, care, and warmth. Hmm, but since she came now, I guess something good happened to her and she wanted to thank them for it, but thanks to certain someone, she lost her chance" The priest felt a mountain drop on his head, his sense of guilt increased and now he feels very bad for taking away an important moment from a dedicated sister.
"If-" The wing turned to look in his direction fast, excited to hear what he was about to say, "if it's Sister Oriana, then I'm ok with her being around at night" he realized that Sister Oriana is used to praying more at night but ever since he came, she probably wasn't able to come and visit her saviors, that's why the halls were empty for two days, he was the reason.
"Could you tell Sister Oriana she can visit her saviors tonight? this room is still far from where I'm training so it's ok" The Wing smiled and nodded her head, the two stared in the direction Oriana ran into. Each one planned what to say to Oriana, the first will be explaining her situation until the priest leaves and the other wondered how to strike up a conversation with a fellow who gave her all to Archangel Uriel as he gave his all to Archangel Michael.
"Oriana-" he mumbled assuming the woman beside him didn't hear but she was all ears to what he said ever since he came, "if she remains like that, she will have a chance to become an Archangel's wing."
After he said that, he walked out of the room to breathe in some fresh air leaving behind him Whe Wing who was busy wondering about his words and their meanings, "you think she could?" She mumbled then stared at Uriel's statue waiting for a reaction, but there was none, "scoff, of course. No matter what we do, a devil will always remain one, even after cleansing" she mumbled and walked after the priest.
Back in the sisters' chamber, Oriana lay flat on her bed after taking off her headwear and coat. She stared at the ceiling before she turned back to her original form, "why did Archangel Michael suddenly decide to send one of his priests now of all times?" Hun wondered before turning to the side and facing the wall, he stared at his shadow for a while before he mumbled, "When will you be cleaned? Don't you think a long time had passed since you started?"
The door to his room knocked so he rushed to change his form and open the door, when he did, he was faced with Uriel's wing, she was smiling happily expressing herself to the core. Hun turned back to his form and welcomed her in with a smile on his face too to see her and her rare smile.
