“Thanks for the food”
Suddenly a gush of wind starts forcing its way into the carriage and starts forming a sphere around Javier’s palm, the mercenaries immediately tried to pull their swords out. But before they could unsheathe the whole thing, the windy sphere exploded, and the pressure from it blew the carriage to bits. Sending the mercenaries into the sky and to the four different cardinal points, the only thing that was not affected was the two horses that ran off immediately that happened.
Javier starts beating the dust off his cloth, “Now, what next?”
Inside the prison, Kobi picked up the last rock in the prison. He took a deep breath, then he said “Please, get me something that will fill me, you are my last hope.”
Kobi drew a pattern on the ground, and then he dropped the stone on the center of the thing he drew on the ground. A bright light shone from the circle, the stone then transformed into three little nuts.
“Bruh,” Kobi picked up the tiny nuts and just stared at it with disappointment. “I guess this is it,” he drops the nut in his mouth, “They are coming for me… I hope…” he then dozed off.
A loud bang on the roof awoke Kobi from his slumber, “Who’s making all that noise?” Kobi rubbed his eyes to make sure he wasn’t still sleeping because the bang kept getting louder and louder and louder then. The roof collapsed in, Kobi dived to a corner to avoid being hit by the debris, “What the Fuck!”
Kobi got a temporally blindness due to the sunlight that followed after the roof collapsed in, this was due to the fact that he has not seen the sun for 365 days. A figure of a person appeared on the roof, then that figure jumped into the cell.
“Are you okay?” The figure asked Kobi while stretching out a hand.
“Yeah,” He starts to regain his sight, “Bruh, what are you doing?” Kobi asked, the moment he realized that the figure was actually Javier.
“Breaking you out…”
“Why?”
“Umm… you don’t want to leave?”
“Not that, why would a magician help me?”
Javier grabs Kobi’s hand and pulls him up to his feet, “I am helping you because I want to,” Javier jumps out from the prison into the empty sky still holding Kobi’s hand, “Ahhhhhhhhhhh!!!” Kobi yelled as the wind pushed against his face. The two then landed on the roof of the house next to the prison.
Javier then turned to Kobi, “Take me to the villagers.”
“Why, and I don’t even know where they are.”
“Why? I have to free them.”
“Why do you want to free them?”
“Everyone deserve to be free, I want to give them back their freedom.”
“What do you want to gain from this?”
“Gain? I dunno yet”
“You are a MAGICIAN!” Kobi yelled, “Magicians are evil, they do things only for their benefit not minding the consequences it will have on others.”
“You are right… there is something I hope to gain from this, so take me to where the villagers are so I can be on my way.”
“Now you are speaking like a magician, but I don’t know where they are.”
“The leader said something about a mine”
“A mine?” Kobi rubs his jaw with his fingers, “I think I know where that is, let’s go I’ll take you there”
Kobi turned and took two steps forward.
*Whoosh*
Kobi fell off the roof.
“Ahhhhhhhhhh!!!” Kobi screamed as he approached the ground with an intense speed, but just before he hit the ground, a hand grabbed him by the waist.
“Thanks…” Kobi said while trying to catch his breath.
“You are welcomed,” Javier said as he slowly dropped Kobi to the ground.
“Let’s go” kobi gets up to his feet.
“Saul! Go put all the mined Kille in the wagons!” Maraki yelled at the guy beside him.
“Okay sir”
Saul strolled into a cave, in that cave was where the villagers were, every one of them tilling the ground with a pick axe. There were mercenaries at every corner, each holding a whip.
“You are too slow!” One mercenary yelled at an old man, then he proceeds to flog the man mercilessly with a whip.
“Where are the mined kille?” Saul asked the one doing the flogging.
“Wait a minute,” the mercenary gives the old man an extra five strokes of the whip, “These villagers are lazy, they need constant beating.”
“Yeah?”
The mercenary then led Saul to the back of the cave where filled up bags of Kille were stored, kille are small purple stones used for powering ships.
“Wow, we’re rich” Saul’s stared at the bags in amazement.
“How do you intend to carry all of this?”
“The boss said he will send some people to help, I am sure…”
Before he could finish, Javier and Kobi walked in through the back, “Oh, they are here” Saul beckons them to come over to where he is. Javier walks to where Saul is while Kobi stood still, “You carry this one.”
Javier grabs one of the bags, and then he flings it right out of the cave.
Saul’s eyes almost popped right out of the socket the moment he did that, he tried to speak but only air came out of his mouth.
“Are you crazy?!” The other mercenary shouted, the force if the wind the shot out of Javier’s hand pushed him right of the cage.
Saul moved to grab his sword; a gush of wind sends him up to the roof of the cage. He slams into the roof, and then he fell to the ground unconscious.
Javier then ran into the cave, defeating every mercenary that blocks his way with two punches and a wind blast.
“You are now free!” Javier yelled, the moment he took down the last mercenary in the cave.
All the villagers dropped their pick axes and started to rejoice by jumping up and screaming on top of their voices.
“We are not free yet,” the old man that was flogged earlier said, “As long as Maraki is still here, no one is free.”
“Yeah that’s true, be right back.” Javier jogs out of the cave.
“Where is that Saul… how many hours has it been?” Maraki said to himself while eating grape in the throne room.
The door of the throne room suddenly flew out of its position, like a projectile it went straight to where Maraki is seated and crashed right into him.
“Who dares!” Maraki screamed as angry veins popped out of his neck.
“I dare.” Javier walked into the throne room.
“What the hell are you still doing here?!” Maraki asked, surprised, “Why can’t you all ever do something right!”
Javier starts walking towards where Maraki is seated, Maraki turned to the dude beside him, “Get me my axe”
“Okay boss.” The dude then ran out of the room.
“Kill him!!” Yelled at the five people in the throne room, they all drew their weapon and charged towards Javier. Javier started to run towards the group to, but before they could make contact he leapt right over them.
Maraki’s jaws dropped in shock as he saw Javier leap toward him, “Hold up,” he stands up, “Wait dude” he starts taking back steps as sweat trickled down his face. “I can’t fight without my axe”
Javier punched Maraki on the jaw, the force that followed the punch sent Maraki to the wall which couldn’t hold him, he crashed right through it like it was a thin ice.
“Yeah, I am not paid enough for this shit” One of the mercenaries that charged earlier said as he dropped his weapon, the remaining four dropped their weapons after him and together they ran out of the throne room.
The dude that left earlier ran back in holding a five feet tall axe, “Boss I brought your axe… where is everyone?” His eyes met Javier’s, “Sorry man, I think I am in the wrong room,” he ran back out as fast as he could.
Immediately he regained consciousness, Maraki and his gang of mercenaries ran out of the country with their tails behind their back.
“I don’t know how we could ever repay you.” The country’s leader said to Javier with tears in his eyes.
“You don’t need to,” Javier said as he bid them farewell with a huge smile on his face, he walked right out of the country’s gate.
“Can I travel with you?” Javier turned around to see Kobi behind him, “Sure.”
“Can I ask you something?” Kobi increased his pace to catch up Javier.
“Sure.”
“How did you become a magician?”
Javier smiled, “It was because of my friend, Gan Dolf”
Kobi’s jaw dropped, “THE WHITE WIZARD?! He is legendary!”
“Yeah…”
