Two days passed and Asher didn't get to see Sister Oriana, she was in the praying room, but he could not visit her out of fear, or was it embarrassment? Whatever that feeling was, he was still unable to go and meet Sister Oriana or face her. Yet there they are, the one he tried to avoid is standing beside him, but this time she's wearing black, the main uniform.
"I look forward to working with you today, Your Holiness," she said shyly before moving to her position and giving their guests their needs.
Outside the temple, people in need kept coming in, their faces were glowing with happiness to get what they needed, except for one dark face with eyes filled with hunger and lust.
An hour passed and all Sister Oriana could feel was discomfort. It was similar to the day she went back to pray in the praying room, the dark hall and silence, it was all the same but this time, it was in the broad daylight and noisy.
While giving the boxes filled with food ingredients and clothes, she kept looking around trying to find the scary eyes staring at her, but she couldn't find a thing. Father Asher kept looking in her direction and Uriel's Wing did too, they noticed her discomfort and tried to find the reason but there was nothing.
Father Asher couldn't stand it and gave Uriel's Wing his job and took hers, he wanted to find who made her this uncomfortable. He went between the crowds to search for any weird eyes looking in her direction, inside the temple, and outside it, he even went a few miles away assuming the aura is strong enough to reach them from afar, yet no luck. He walked back to The Wing and shook his head worrying her more than before.
"Your Holiness? May I go out for a bit? I suddenly feel suffocated" Cold sweat was forming on her forehead scaring the two more so they allowed her hoping she will be in a better state. Sister Oriana stepped out of the temple and finally started to feel better, the cold breeze blew on her face reminding her she was fine and nothing to worry about, and the clean air she swallowed made her feel refreshed.
A shadow was creeping from behind until it reached her, a hand held her tensed shoulder making her panic and try to attack whoever was behind, "kyaaaa!!"
"Sister Oriana!?" She halted at the mention of her name, she looked up and saw the priest looking at her worriedly, "Ah! Your holiness?" Her eyes started watering worrying Father Asher more and more, "Sister?"
"Please, Your Holiness, please take me away from here. I'm suffocating" Her tears started falling, so he took her to an empty room until she stops crying.
They ended up in the confession room, he helped her to sit down and went to bring her water. After he left, Sister Oriana started to feel cold so she looked up and found herself alone, "Your Holiness?" She called for the man hoping he will reply but there was no answer, "F- Father?" She called again, "Pop?" And again, yet no one replied.
The door creaked open a bit making Sister Oriana turn hoping to find Father Asher there, but she was met with scary wide-open eyes, the face was very thin and dark making her shiver before she started trembling and falling on her knees when she noticed how lustful and horrifying that person was, but the worst yet to come, the person outside grinned and the eyes were smiling, the face started sweating before the sound of a zipper was pulled down.
Sister Oriana looked down and saw the person pull out a piece of meat and start stroking it, "you're so beautiful Sister, and I know our children will be too. I kept watching you for too long so I know I made a wise choice in picking you~ Please wait for me, I won't take too long to come and get you."
Sister Oriana choked on her tears, she held her mouth to not cry loudly. She wanted to cry so someone can hear from afar, but she was afraid if she does so the weirdo outside will come in and attack her. She sat there crying and still holding her mouth to not scream, her muffled chokes filled only the silence in the room she was in, while faint huffs were coming from behind the door.
She waited until he left but it took him long to finish, "Please God, save me from this scary man, keep me safe and clean from his ugly and disgusting soul and desires" She kept repeating the same line over and over again her body was still trembling.
"Sister Oriana~ I need a hand here~" Sister Oriana's eyes opened wide, while she was on her knees, she started to move backward away from him while shaking her head, "Don't do this, Sister~ You will be my wife soon so you need to get used to those actions~" The disgusting flesh tangled while moving toward her making her horrified to the max.
'No! I won't! Stop! No more!!'
"Help me!!!!" She screamed as loud as she could, "Please!! Somebody! Anybody! Help meeee!!"
The stalker panicked and rushed outside the room and temple, he promised himself next time he will see her, he will move faster and obtain her for himself and only for him.
Father Asher rushed to the room when he heard a scream coming from Sister Oriana's room, when he was close to the room, he saw a man coming out of it, he was sweating and breathing heavily. Horror was clear on his face; he wanted to run after the man, but he feared leaving Sister Oriana alone so he ran to the confession room where he found her crying and begging God to save her and protect her.
"Sister Oriana?" He called for her but she didn't reply and kept crying and begging. He got closer and approached to touch her shoulder but she yanked it away, "Sist-"
"Please, please no, I have always been loyal to him and his Archangels, I know he can't protect me from disgusting men like that one but at least God, please send me one who can protect me from the likes of that ugly thing from darkness" she stared at Father Asher but she wasn't looking at him, she was looking above his head as if she was asking the skies behind the walls.
"Your Holiness?" He jolted when she finally called for him, her eyes were filled with tears but the worst part, her eyes were empty, there was no glow, and no life in them, "please leave me alone, but don't go far, I fear he will return" his heart squeezed from sadness and anger, she didn't deserve that, she didn't deserve any of it.
It was his fault, he should have been faster, but The Sisters needed someone to lift the heavy boxes with them to the praying room, which was why it took him long. He still doesn't have the right to think that, Sister Oriana wasn't in a good state from the beginning and he simply left her alone in a dark room far from them.
"I'm sorry" he apologized and put the opened bottle of water behind her, he walked out of the room and closed the doors but not fully so he can keep an eye on her in case something happened to her.
He leaned on the wall beside the doors and listened closely to hear sobs, he started to feel horrible even though he didn't know Sister Oriana well, but something deep within him tore him to shreds, voices of blaming and screams filled his head, the voices he did the impossible to forget came back to haunt him again.
"I promise I will take responsibility" he mumbled.
