Cordelia Deforest is one of the few witches who were saved by other supernatural creatures. Then she was brought to Evergreen Abode as a young witch.
‘She was shown mercy during a battle and given a chance.’
And so... she spent her years in a safe haven of the world until she grew up to be a young adult.
That was also thanks to the leaders, who decided to try and end the conflict between witches and other supernatural creatures.
Well, more or less...
Though it may sound great and pure, Cordelia has always felt more like a prisoner than anything else.
Even now, as she carefully and silently crosses a side corridor in her ‘home’, Cordelia keeps glancing around. She’s hoping to avoid anyone troublesome.
And she heaves a sigh of relief when she reaches the witches’ quarters.
Evergreen Abode may be beautiful and majestic, but it could never compare to seeing her companions.
Cordelia immediately moves more freely when she spots a few witches. She greets them with a gentle smile while heading deeper into their small, hidden quarters.
“Kyaaa!”
However, when she turns around the corner, someone grabs her arm and pulls her behind a pillar.
“B-Bastion?!”
“Oh God, please stop scaring me every time we meet.” Cordelia breathes when she gets over her shock.
And that makes the black-haired guy, who is holding her in a tight hug, chuckle happily.
“Can’t promise, Corry.”
As the cheeky guy answers, he leans forward and plants a kiss on Cordelia’s forehead.
“Sigh... What should I do with you, you rascal?” Cordelia chuckles and then kisses him back, putting her arms around his neck and pulling him closer.
And their lips would meet in a sweet kiss if not for the loud stomps disturbing their moment.
“FOR ****’S SAKE!!!” sounds an angry and loud voice in the corridor.
A few seconds later, a woman with short purple hair, glaring eyes, and clenched hands appears.
The younger woman is so caught up in her thoughts that she doesn’t even notice Cordelia and Bastion.
She storms past their hiding place while shouting more curses.
“Selene!”
However, the quieter woman with long blonde hair who appears afterward immediately spots the lovebirds.
“Oh! I’m so sorry for disturbing you!” she apologizes and then hurries after the other girl.
The couple blushes at first, chuckling nervously afterward.
“Those two are lively as ever.” Bastion sighs while Cordelia can only laugh.
The Three Witches is a Prequel to Reimei no Gakuen, a fantasy visual novel released not long ago by me ;D
You can read The Three Witches separately. I've written it in a way so that you don't need to play the game first. But if you want to know the full story... how it continues, check out Reimei no Gakuen.
https://store.steampowered.com/app/1881950/Reimei_no_Gakuen__OtomeVisual_Novel/
This one will tell the background stories of the antagonists, and it's set years before the main story. Prepare for magic, love, and angst! Remember... this isn't a light-hearted fairy tale.
