Author’s Note

This story is the product of over three years of worldbuilding, character-building, and plotting. It loosely follows the plot of a roleplay that started out as a D&D campaign and later turned into a Discord text roleplay—this book mostly follows the story of our main character, Vivi Blackwood, although it sometimes takes a glance into the viewpoints of other characters around her. The story has been heavily modified from the original roleplay in certain places, with plot holes fixed and character arcs made more consistent. Even so, the story is fundamentally nothing more than a group of friends having fun together—and we hope you'll have just as much fun reading it as we have had writing it.

Episodes will be released once (or sometimes twice) a week and there will usually be between three to five episodes per chapter.
