"I'll show you it's done." Asahi said to Matsuo, before joining Enyo on the arena.
"Fear not Enyo, I shall win this match for us and I shall do it in style!" He beamed with confidence and sparkle. His pride was overflowing at that moment.
Enyo just rolled his sky blue eyes. "Don't get ahead of yourself Asahi. Just make sure you concentrate on the fight and not on your ego." He sighed.
Yuto turned to Kuro. "Kuro don't lose focus. Enyo and Asahi may not be as strong as Raiden and the others, but they still have powerful magic, so don't let your guard down." He advised.
"Right." kuro nodded and they both faced their opponents with serious expressions. Then to my surprise, Yuto pulled out two daggers from his clothes and twirled them round skilfully. 'Wait does he just keep those things on him?!'
"How about I take Mr. Wolf and you handle Kuro. Sound good?" Asahi suggested to Enyo with a smirk.
"Very well." Enyo answered without looking at him.
Raiden would be the one to give the signal this time. I feeling excited from the last fight, so I was even more eager to see how this one was gonna turn out.
"Okay guys!...... Start!" He shouted out.
Kuro and Yuto were the first to take action. They darted towards their opponents without any hesitation whatsoever. Asahi and Enyo nodded to each other and moved to react. Asahi flung his hands out in front of him and out of his palms, a large cloud of sparkling green mist emerged. It surrounded the arena and within the mist, he formed many copies on himself and Enyo. Yuto and Kuro went back to back against each other. They seemed to be aware that this would happen.
All at once, the copies launched at them. But Yuto using his heightened senses, was able to detect which ones where fake. Kuro and Yuto started destroying them. Yuto sliced through them with his daggers and Kuro used what looked like dark magic. He formed waves of black energy which also cut through Asahi's copies.
Not only were there illusions, but now giant water pellets began pummelling them from all around. Obviously that was from Enyo, but we couldn't see where he and Asahi were exactly, due to the multiple illusions.
The illusion mist had almost cleared, when suddenly without warning, Asahi: in his serpent form lashed out at Yuto. He coiled himself halfway around his body, restraining him from moving his limbs. This made him drop his daggers and Asahi knocked them away with his tail.
"Haha! Didn't sense this coming, did ya Wolfie boy?" Asahi bantered. Yuto struggled to get free. Asahi kept his grip on him, but Yuto was clearly not ready to throw in the towel.
At the same time, Enyo had managed to trap Kuro inside a large floating water bubble. Kuro struggled to breath, as tried to use his limbs to escape. Enyo continued to keep him contained. I hoped that he wouldn't accidentally drown him. But Enyo looked like he knew what he was doing.
Then from inside the bubble, Kuro started forming a black ball which started to expand. It got larger and larger, until it burst the sphere like a water balloon, releasing him. The impact of the burst sent Enyo back a little back. Kuro transformed into a crow to catch himself in midair.
Despite dripping wet, Kuro kept a stern expression. "Nice tricks you guys, but I have some too." Kuro next began summoning many dark shapes all at once. They appeared to form crows just like him. They immediately began to swarm around Enyo and Asahi, creating a dome of crows. Kuro also turned himself into a crow, so he could blend in with his magic ones.
Since Asahi was distracted, he accidentally loosened his grip on Yuto. Ceasing his chance, he transformed into a wolf broke himself out of his grasp. Yuto bashed him a few times before knocking the serpent away. Asahi then transformed back and lay on the floor.
As Kuro flew within, he found Yuto's daggers. He managed to grab them and tossed them to him. Yuto turned human and grabbed them.
Desperate for a way to get rid of Kuro's crow familiars, Enyo used his water magic to create a whirlpool and started to suck up the darkness crows. Even Kuro along with them!
Just as Asahi moved to get up, Yuto leaped up high and threw his daggers. Asahi yelped in fright as the dangers pinned him back down to the floor by his sleeves. Yuto turned back into a wolf and pinned his paws on his shoulders, while growling and baring his teeth. Asahi smiled meekly up at the snarling wolf.
At the same time Enyo stopped the whirlpool which have made the black crows disappear. The only one left was kuro. Enyo grabbed the black bird in his hands, preventing him from flapping. "Gotcha!" Enyo announced. Kuro could only cough and splutter in response.
Before they could do anything else, Raiden shouted out. "Alright Times up! This fight ends in a draw!" Enyo let go of Kuro, who transformed back into a human, but was still drenched with water.
"What?" Asahi shot back right up right after Yuto tuned back and got off him. "I didn't know we were on a time limit!"
"Have you forgotten? Our fights always last no more than three minutes. We managed to end our fight within that time." He recalled. Asahi sighed in defeat. "Not a bad sneak attack Asahi, but your arrogance was totally unnecessary. Word of advice; you don't want to piss off a wolf." He warned.
"I'll bear that in mind." Asahi replied sheepishly.
"Kuro you did a great job at holding out against my water spells." Enyo complimented Kuro. "But remember to always keep in mind what could happen next." They both shook hands respectively.
"I will, thanks Enyo." The black haired boy responded humbly.
Aimi and Souta approached Kuro, as all four of them came back over to us. "Good try Kuro." Aimi complimented. "But you're still soaking wet." She used a handkerchief to wipe his face a little.
"Don't worry buddy, I'll dry ya off." Souta offered.
Kuro seemed a little unsure about it. "Err that's O......"
Before he could finish his sentence, Souta created a strong whirlwind around Kuro, instantly drying him off. Though his hair stuck out like a brush. "Kay....Thanks Souta." He answered while looking a little dazed.
"What was that about you saying you'd win?" Matsuo smirked craftily at Asahi.
"At least my side didn't lose! And my tactics were way more effective than yours were!" Asahi hissed.
"You wish Fancy Pants!" Matsuo scoffed. "There's no way you'd be able to beat me in a one on one fight. I can easily take ya down with one arm tied behind my back!"
"Just try it!" Asahi retorted.
"Right! Now it's the girls turn!" Raiden announced. "Would you like to take your places?"
The four girls gladly moved toward the middle of the arena. I couldn't wait to see how this one would turn out! I especially wanted to see how the girls would fight, so I could hopefully become one of them soon. I would make sure that I would watch them really closely.
Hopefully, their fight would be a little cleaner than the boys, but I didn't expect them not to be a little rough. They were fighters too after all. Chiyu appeared to be the toughest out of the girls, I wondered if she would have the upper hand. The boys and I watched them in anticipation.
"I'm rooting for all of you Ladies!" Asahi called out in a lovey dovey voice.
"Come on girls! Show us what you got! Matsuo called out.
"Yeah you totally got this!" Hikki shouted.
"YEAH COME ON!" I suddenly cheered.
"Ready go!" Raiden announced.
