Professor Carl Euris elaborated on the explanation while teaching William, because he was late in the succession lessons, which made his schedule crowded.

William interrupted him nervously and embarrassed

Claudia sat on the sofa face to face with Sir Damian and the Wizard of the Tower

Mister Damian started talking in a sycophantic manner, wanting to soften the mood inside the room

  He stood and bowed to the lady

-"My name is Gavroche, the best magician in the tower. Nice to meet you, madam."

Because of the intensity of the atmosphere that increased, Mr. Damian entered directly into the matter

-"Listen, Lady Claudia, I know your life has been ruined because of your son, because he didn't inherit the fire, but there is hope..."

Her eyes widened, and her body froze

-"Yes, continue."

The two men looked at each other and smiled maliciously, as if they were saying, "You have fallen into our nets." 

He continued, saying:

-"...The Tower of Magicians and I are studying the possibility of changing the mana affinity, and because I trust them a lot and I'm sure of the success of the experiment, I decided to help my poor relative, in return for a little help, what do you think?".

She raised her eyebrow and looked at him

-"You want me to hand over my son to you so that you can perform forbidden experiments on him in return for a lot of money?"

Mr. Damian tensed and squeezed his hands, the lady is not as stupid as he had expected.

The magician interrupted her, saying:

-"But your son will be able to use fire magic and regain his status as heir, and you will regain your position in the society of the nobles."

-"If the experiment fails?."

-"Madam, I am confident that my experiments will succeed, and even if I do not succeed, in either case your son is useless, but the Tower of Wizards will support you for the sacrifice you have made for us."

There was silence for a while.

- "Okay, I agree, he will be at your disposal as soon as possible."

A frightening expression crossed her face as she uttered that sentence.

The two gentlemen realized why everyone was calling her a madwoman, but they were both happy that their plan had succeeded, especially Gavroche, who began imagining his experiences with great happiness.

I have a very strange feeling that something bad is going to happen, especially if that woman leaves secretly, it does not bode well.

On the evening of that day, she came back, and she acted as if she had never left, but what made me mad was the change in her behavior, she stopped smoking and drinking, and she no longer wanted to torture me.

I couldn't contain my curiousity so I spied on her in her room through a small gate in the corner of the ceiling.

She did not stop smiling even for a moment, and the maids were surprised too, but Maria was smiling with her, she must be the only person who knows.

I waited day and night for them to be alone, until one of them committed a slip of the tongue.

Maria said in a low voice while combing her lady's hair:

-"Madam, when will you send the young master?".

There was silence between them, but she smiled and said:

-"I'm waiting for the Tower of Wizards to finish making a replacement for it, a child who looks like him, then I'll hand it over to them, so no one will doubt it, and then they'll return it to me useful and with great fire magic."

-"Yes, I hope so. Then my lady will regain the place she deserves."

Wait a minute, are she trying to send me to the Tower of Wizards in order to perform experiments on me? Isn't that forbidden ?, She lost her mind ,I have to leave as soon as possible, before that replacement arrives,

Sir Evon was waiting for me under the tree, as soon as he caught sight of me he smiled and waved his hand

react and dont get angry , ok?..."

Sir nodded his head

-"...you remember when I told you that that woman's behavior had changed. After spying on her, I realized that she wanted to send me to the tower to conduct experiments forbidden on me to use fire."

Sir Evon's eyes widened and turned red, his veins began to bulge out, he was very angry

-"Didn't I tell you not to react and get angry ?"

-" How can I not get angry when the lady wants to do bad things to you? How does her heart allow this? Aren't you her son?"

-"That woman never thought like that, i have no one by my side, i turned to you because you are the only one who can help me".

He calmed himself down and took a deep breath

-"Tell me ,what you need?"

-"I want to escape from here and I don't know how, and also I don't know anyone outside the palace, can you help me?".

Sir Evon put his hand to his chin and began to think, until a smile appeared, indicating an idea

- "Actually, I have the solution to your problems."
