Suddenly, I was in a place that can only be described as a Warzone. Those unusual buildings are falling apart, the people around me are hurt, some of them are dying, and some are already dead.

"Wh... What... What happened here? Did a HighRank Monster do this?" [vier]

...boom!...collapse!...boom!...

...Uwahh!...Sobb!...Arghh!...

Only the sounds of falling and collapsing buildings can be heard, along with the sounds of crying and suffering of the people around me.

"Ugh!... This is bad, everyone's emotions are flowing to me. My own emotion is being swayed by their emotions. My hands and legs are trembling. I'm afraid!" [vier]

I'm afraid! Why am I here? What happened? Where is everyone? Where is my family? Where are my friends? Are they safe? Are they alive? Am I going to survive this? Am I going to die? I'm afraid! I'm hurt! I don't want this! I don't want to die!

These are all the emotions that flow to me from all the people around me. And at the same time, this is also what I'm feeling right now.

"Ha!... This is just a dream, don't break down." [vier]

But I know all of these emotions are not real.

"Ha!... I just need to calm myself! I'm not a part of this story. I'm just an observer. I won't be in danger here! Nothing in here is real, this is just a MemoryFragment of the 2ndWorld! I'm an Adventurer. I can't lose myself in this kind of situation." [vier]

Nothing in this place is real. It's just my usual dreams about the MemoryFragments of the 2ndWorld. Nothing in this dream would affect me. And I won't be able to affect this story either.

Soon this dream will be over. I will wake up back in my room then I will tell the story of what happened in this dream to my Family and Friends like what I always do.

The worst thing that would happen to me while I'm in this dream is to feel the emotions of everyone around me. But I can take that. I'm an Adventurer so I won't break down from that.

...Tremble!...Tremble!...Tremble!...

"Ehh? The ground is trembling, is this a GroundQuake Magic? No! I felt this before, it's like how the ground would tremble before a DungeonStamped." [vier]

...Tremble!...Tremble!...Tremble!...

This is bad! This is bad! This is bad! Those weird things that appear beyond the horizon, I'm sure all of those are Monsters, and there's an army of them. At this rate, all of these people will surely die.

...boom!...collapse!...boom!...

...Uwahh!...Sobb!...Arghh!...

...Tremble!...Tremble!...Tremble!...

I dreamed of these kinds of stories before. So surely, a group of Adventures or Heroes will come and save these people.

"...GRAHHHH!!!..."

"Come on! It's about time you show up. Those armies of monsters are marching towards us!" [vier]

...FLASH!!!...

"Eh? A pillar of light? There they are! They suddenly appear right where the pillar of light hits the ground." [vier]

A pillar of light suddenly came from above scattering the dark clouds covering the sky. I'm not sure what that is, but since that Party of Heroes or Adventurers appears from the place where the light hit the ground, that pillar of light is probably a HighLevel Magic called Teleportation Skill.

"...'~{{§√{ €~×√|!..."

As soon as they arrive, one of the Heroes immediately makes his move. I didn't understand what he said, but after calling his Magic, that guy with a pair of horns cast a large-scale Magic Barrier around the people to protect everyone.

After the Magic Barrier covers everyone. The other Heroes began their clash with the army of monsters

...Swish!...Zap!...Boom!!!... 

With a single cast of her Magic, the girl carrying an axe obliterates the monsters in her front. With every swing of her axe, lightning would come out of it and scorch every monster in her path.

I have never seen someone use Lightning Magic like that. Maybe she is a Sorceress and her axe is a MagicItem used to wield LightningMagic.

The other Heroes also make their moves. The IronGolem soars in the sky and starts shooting multiple offensive Magic at the monsters.

After that IronGolem, the girl wearing unusual Gear suddenly became a giant. I have no idea how she did that but she soon started trampling those monsters by simply stepping on them.

After her follows a big green guy. His savage rampage can't be stopped by those monsters, and he just keeps tearing them with his bare hands.

Then the Black BeastKin made her move. She ran so fast across the battlefield defeating monsters one after another with her claws.

Then there's the PhoenixKin who uses a Relic that shoots bullets to take down those monsters one by one as he glides through the sky.

That Relic is something I'm familiar with, I Replicated those kinds of Relics and use them as my Weapon as an Adventurer.

The last of those Heroes is an Archer who never misses her target, taking down those monsters one at a time while hiding her presence.

"Yes! The people's emotions are changing, at least I can feel hope in them. That's right! You don't have to be afraid! Those Heroes will surely save everyone." [vier]

I dreamed of this kind of story before. In that dream, a lone Hero bravely stands facing an army of monsters of the same scale as this one. His body is tattered and his shield is broken in half. Yet the thought of surrendering and running away never came into his mind.

And at the moment he decided to make his final stand, Heroes and Adventurers from different places appear behind his back using a Magic different from that pillar of light. Together, they fight and win that battle.

But maybe that won't happen this time. Maybe other Heroes and Adventurers won't come. And the Heroes right now won't be able to save everyone.

One by one, the monsters make it past the Heroes and reach the Magic Barrier that protects the people.

Maybe the Heroes can defeat this army given the time, but those monsters will break the Magic Barrier and kill everyone before that happens.

Soon even that Archer will run out of arrows.

Even if she picks and uses those arrows again, they will be broken after defeating two or three more monsters.

Soon her bow will break as she uses it to defend herself from the monster that would come near her. She can draw and swing her sword at those monsters, but her body will take damage before she can defeat one of them.

"Sobb!...sob!...sob!... 

...Yet you keep standing no matter how many times those monsters knock you down...

...Your body is tattered, if you take any more damage you'll die!...

...I can also feel your emotion, so I know you're also afraid of death. So how can you keep standing up and not run away?" [vier]

Seeing her standing up on this battlefield filled my heart with an emotion that I can't understand. I'm not even sure anymore if this emotion is something that flows to me from everyone around me or just my own emotion. All I know is that what is behind my tears wasn't hopelessness or despair.

"Sobb!...sob!...sob!...

...Your sword broke down long ago, what you're holding now in your trembling hand is just a piece of metal scrap....

...Those other heroes won't help you, they won't even look back at you!...

...You don't even have powers like them, so stop pretending like you're one of those heroes!...

...Without your weapon you're just an ordinary girl, like me and like these people your trying to protect, cowering behind this Magic Barrier...." [vier]

"...uwarghh..."

"Huh? What's happening?" [vier]

"...uwarghh!!..."

"Where is that sound coming from?" [vier]

"...UWARGHH!!..."

"Ehh!?" [vier]

"...UWARGHHHH!!!!!..."

What I heard at first was a small cry that can barely be heard among the chaos of the battlefield. Yet that cry echoed again and again, getting louder each time, again and again, until it became a War Cry that swallowed the chaotic sound of this Battlefield.

That didn't come from the Heroes or the army of monsters fighting each other. That came from the people cowering behind this Magic Barrier.

They were standing with their tattered bodies just like her. Their trembling hands were holding metal scraps as their weapon just like her. The emotions which flowed at me still feared death, yet in their eyes I can see courage and resolution to fight along with her reflection standing on this battlefield.

Right now our eyes weren't looking at those powerful heroes and their overwhelming power, or the monsters in front of us trying to break the Magic Barrier. 

What we're looking at is a hero stripped of all her weapons and power, turned into nothing but an ordinary powerless person like us, yet still has the courage to stand against the enemy in front of her and the resolution to face what might come after.

She showed us that right now we don't need those Heroes to save us. That we don't need this Magic Barrier to protect us. That we don't need to be a hero to fight this battle and stand up.

Now I understand the emotion that filled my heart. Now I'm sure that behind my tears are not hopelessness or despair. And that I'm crying because I was inspired.

Then at that moment when she stands again after being knocked down by a monster. She looked back at us and gave us a call like she knew we were ready to join her in this battle.

"Sobb!... sob!... I don't even need to understand your voice. I just know you said something cool... Uwarghh!..." [vier]
