"Sobb!...sob!... I'm okay... Mifumi-sama, Felin, sob!....sob!... since I already found my courage and resolution. Sob... Waahh!..." [vier]

"Eh? Courage? Resolution?" [mifumi]

"Whoa! That's amazing Vier." [felin]

"Please stop being amazed Felin-chan, we need to calm her down. Vier-chan, calm yourself, you're just having a dream. You're awake now! You can see us, right? So relax and calm yourself." [mifumi]

"Sobb!...sob!...sob!..." [vier]

That exhilarating, heart-pounding story is just one of my many dreams. But not just some common or ordinary dreams, those are what we call MemoryFragments. These are memories we inherited from the Humans of the 2ndWorld before that world recreated itself.

Being a DreamHolder and dreaming about these MemoryFragments doesn't make me special or a one-of-a-kind person. Anyone who has a Human Bloodline has the possibility of being a DreamHolder like me and dreaming about those MemoryFragments.

Some DreamHolder dreamed about how to make unfamiliar dishes, and some even dreamed about how to use Relic found in the Floating Island. In my case, I mostly dream about the memories of 2ndWorld Fictional Stories.

Even though I can feel their emotions while dreaming, by the moment I'm fully awake, I got this feeling that those Heroic and Magical Battles are just made-up stories made by humans of that 2ndworld.

"Have you calmed down, Vier-chan?" [mifumi]

"Mhm! Thank you Mifumi-sama, Felin." [vier]

"Tell us about your dream this time, Vier." [felin]

"Don't force yourself Vier-chan. But if you can, please tell us what you dreamed." [mifumi]

"I'm fully awake now, so I think I can handle my emotions. Anyway, that dream starts like this..." [vier]

I always tell them about my dreams. They are my best friends, my Party members, and my companions to the adventures that we promised.

The Half-Elf, who always tries to act like an older sister even though she's only one year older than me and two years older than Felin. Her name is Mifumi.

The Cat-Girl, who always acts like a child, because she's still a child, but always does her best at everything she does. Her name is Felin.

The two of them are always happy to listen to the stories that I see in my dreams of MemoryFragments. Even if those stories are not about Heroes and Adventurers, even if those stories had many things that were so unfamiliar to them, even if those stories had so many scary things, the two of them would always be there to listen to me. For that, I'm always thankful to both of them.

"...Then at that moment when she stands again after being knocked down by a monster. She looked back at us and gave us a call like she knew we were ready to join her in that battle...

...What happened next was those people marching towards those monsters with their War Cry that shook the entire battlefield...

...All of them were still afraid but their courage moved their trembling legs and their resolution gave strength to their trembling hands...

...That's all I can remember but I'm sure those people win their battle." [vier]

"Sob!...sob!... I see, a hero who can inspire her people even without overwhelming powers... sob!... sob!... a person who can stand true and brave in front of death... sob!...sob!... I'm sorry, please let me borrow your bathroom... Waaahhh!!!..." [mifumi]

"Eh? Wait! Are you ok Mifumi-sama? Felin let's go after her." [vier]

"Uwarghh!!!..." [felin]

"Eh? Why are you shouting like that, Felin?" [vier]

"Uwarghh!!!..." [felin]

"Wait! Where are you going?" [vier]

"Uwarghh!!!..." [felin]

"Felin! Come back!" [vier]

"Vier! What's happening? Mifumi-sama is crying in the bathroom. Then Felin-chan runs outside while shouting like those Adventurers who are about to fight a monster horde." 

"I don't know Mom. I just told them what I saw in my dream." [vier]

The two of them always act like this whenever I tell them stories about Heroes and Adventurers. That's what gives me the idea of writing those stories that I see in my dreams and publishing them so I can earn money. That's one of the advantages of being a DreamHolder. We always have knowledge and ideas about unusual things and we can turn it into something profitable.

After a while, the two of them finally came back.

"Have you calmed down Mifumi-sama?" [vier]

"I'm sorry for losing myself, Vier-chan." [mifumi]

"And where have you been, Felin?" [vier]

"I beat up the dummy at the Training Area." [felin]

"Why?" [vier]

"Because your story is so cool!" [felin]

"Sheesh. Both of you, an Adventurer needs to learn to control their emotions." [vier]

"Speaking for yourself Vier-chan? You're crying like a 3-year-old child earlier." [mifumi]

"Ugh!... Still, don't you think you're overreacting to the stories in my dreams?" [vier]

"Eh? Overreacting? Vier-chan, do you think our reactions are overreacting? Then try to remember what happened when you published the latest story of the 2ndWorldHeroes." [mifumi]

"Ugh!... Please don't make me remember that Mifumi-sama." [vier]

"Don't you remember how the Adventurers at the Guild went wild after reading that? All the Adventurers are shouting while looking at that portrait of the ShieldHero standing alone, ready to fight the army of monsters." [mifumi]

"Mhm! They all said they will master the art of shield throwing." [felin]

"Then After that, they drank all night, talking about how they felt at every part of the story. Even the Guild Master and Grandma were drinking that night. The same thing happened to the Soldiers at the Outpost town, and the Guards at the Gates." [mifumi]

"Well, they were adults so it's ok for them to drink right?" [vier]

"Not if they can't work the next day!" [mifumi]

"Okay please stop. I'm sorry for saying you're overreacting, Mifumi-sama." [vier]

"And don't forget about the Uncle from the WoodPrint company. He was in despair when he saw the list of orders that kept coming...." [mifumi]

"Mifumi-sama I'm sorry! Please stop!" [vier]

After Mifumi-sama calm down. The three of us began our usual meeting. That's the reason why the two of them are here in my room. We need to discuss our plans for the upcoming Adventurers Admission Exam.

Every year, the Adventurers Guild Academy accepts Adventurers that were able to pass that Exam from every part of the world to become their students.

Since the Adventurers Guild Academy together with its headquarters is located at the Floating Island of Liber, becoming a student of their academy is one of the ways for the adventurers to reach the Floating Islands of the 2ndWorld.

Adventurer students at the academy study and train to join the ExplorationTeam that aimed to explore the further above Floating Islands and someday reach the BlueMoon.

Well, not every student aimed to join the ExplorationTeam. Some adventurers like Mifumi-sama want to explore the dungeon which is the whole island to find stronger MonsterCore and Dungeon Artifact.

Some adventurers like Felin want to train and get stronger by fighting stronger monsters. And some adventurers like me want to explore and see what the old 2ndWorld looks like.

Still, if we want to explore more Floating Islands above, we need to study and train hard to join the ExplorationTeam.

"The Adventurers Admission Exam will be held in two weeks so we should start making preparations. Mifumi-sama can you tell us what our priorities are." [vier]

"Okay! First on the list is our daily necessities like food and water and tents...

...Second are the Potions and Antidotes, because most of the monsters inside the RankC ForestValley-Huant Dungeon are insect types that specialize in using Poison...

...Third, we need to upgrade our Weapons and Gear. For me, I need MonsterCore from at least Rank2 or Rank3 monsters to upgrade my SorceressStaff. Felin-chan needs new MonsterMaterials to upgrade her Weapons. And for you Vier-chan, you need ManaCrystals to power your ManaTech or new MonsterCore and MonsterMaterials to make a new one...

...Finally and most importantly, we need to submit our Party Name in the Guild before the Exam." [mifumi]

That's a lot of things to do within two weeks. But most importantly, we need to think of a good Name for our Adventurer Party before the Exam. We still have two weeks for that so we don't need to rush.

Our Party includes Mifumi-sama, Felin, and Me. All of us are CopperRank adventurers, the starting Rank for Adventurers.

The first member and our Party Leader is Mifumi-sama. She handles the role of both Magic Attack and Defense. She is a 16 years old Half-Elf and the Successor of the BlackElf Sorceress. The Sorceress who protects our town from any DungeonStamped and any possible invasion coming from the Empire at the north.

Even though Mifumi-sama is a Half-Elf, both her parents and her younger brother are born humans who carry the Bloodline of the Elf race in their Blood. Her long black hair and pointed ears reflect the same appearance as her grandmother, Misaki-sensei, who is also a HighRank Adventurer.

The second member of our Party is Felin. She handles the role of the Vanguard and Scout. She is a 14-year-old BeastKin of the LightningBeast-Saber Race. And like Mifumi-sama, even if Felin is a BeastKin, her mother is a Human who carries the Bloodline of the Saber Race.

Her cute black cat ears and black cat tail indicate that she carries the blood of our Smilodon Kingdom Royal Ancestral Family. Still, Felin and her mother, Leaena-san, are not members of the Royal Family.

Felin has a Sub-Spirit, a Cat-sith, in the form of a small cat that she can summon any time she wants. Whenever Felin summons this spirit cat, it will always sleep at the top of her head between her cat ears so we can't play with it.

The last member of our Party is Me. I handle the role of a RearGuard, Support, and ItemCrafter. I'm 15 years old, one-of-a-kind Human girl, who is a DreamHolder and carries the Bloodline of both Elf Race and Dwarf Race in her blood. It may sound amazing at first but in reality, carrying both two DemiHuman Bloodlines comes with an extreme downside when using Magic.

Even though having a DemiHuman Bloodline amplifies a person's Attribute in Magic, carrying two different DemiHuman Bloodlines causes a reverse effect of canceling out the Attribute. This will cause a person to spend much more Mana using simple Magic than a normal person does. 

That is the reason I'm using ManaCrystals and ManaTech. Because if I try to directly use a Magic Skill using MonsterCore of a Rank3 or higher monster, my Mana will be drained to the point of me collapsing due to Mana deficiency.

Our party surely lacks essential roles for a proper Adventurers Party, but we're planning to add more members after passing the Adventurers Admission Exam or after we reach the Adventurers Academy in the Floating Island of Liber....

"Eh?... Ah!... Sorry Mifumi-sama, Felin. I lost my thoughts thinking about our Party's situation." [vier]

"Sheesh. You're probably monologuing all by yourself again." [mifumi]

"Ugh!... I'm not monologuing okay? I'm just thinking about a lot of things." [vier]

"Really? Because you have these weird looks on your face when you're monologuing all by yourself Vier-chan." [mifumi]

"Vier always looks weird!" [felin]

"Ehh?... What do you mean by that, Mifumi-sama, Felin?" [vier]

"Hmmm... something like your eyes look like they're focusing on something we can't see." [mifumi]

"Mhm! Just like those cats at the Reserve!" [felin]

"Mhm! Just like that!" [mifumi]

"Ugh!... I think this is because of my writing work. Maybe I need to take a break from writing those stories in my dreams of MemoryFragments..." [vier]

"No! you can't stop Vier-chan!" [mifumi]

"Mhm! I want to hear more amazing stories, Vier!" [felin]

"But I don't want to look weird like what you said earlier." [vier]
