Yong’s POV: Wait..WHAT. He thinks he is making me uncomfortable. I forcefully swallowed my hot coffee and told him, “you aren't making me uncomfortable, why would you think that?” His face calms down and he says, “I don't know, I just felt like I was making you uncomfortable in a way.” “Well you aren’t making me feel uncomfortable, in contrast, you actually make me feel really comfortable. I feel safe when I'm around you and you talk to me in such a calm way, I appreciate it so much.” At that moment, he looks straight into my eyes and it looks so relieved and happy. He was going to say something but then our groups came in. We look at their direction while all of them just stare at us. “How was it being stuck on the elevator?” I say as I sip my coffee. “Not funny Yong, not funny.” “ I wasn't trying to be but take it as it resonates to you I guess.” They stay silent. “Go get your coffee before we are late to the meeting because all of you guys decided to go on the elevator and it got stuck,” Haru says as he looks at them. They all stay quiet and get their coffee. By that time our moods are good. After we all have a brief talk, we get up and head to the meeting as it is still scheduled at the same time as before. When we go in, I feel the weight get on my shoulders. It was like I was being intensively stared at which is never good because no one ever makes me feel this way except for one person...my dad. When we took our seats, Mr.Kim was facing us while the seat next to him was facing the window. Someone was definitely sitting there just staring at us from the window. Mr.Kim starts to speak, “Hello everyone, i heard that most of you got stuck on the elevator. I'm glad you are all fine. I thought we would have to put this meeting at a different time but I am very pleased that we did not need to do that. Now let's continue with why you are here. I have asked Haru and Yong to bring the important files that I asked for, may I have them.” Me and Haru give Mr.Kim the files he asked from us a day ago. “Thank you very much. Now we have another person who is with us and he will be helping the company. Give a warm welcome to Mr.Hu,” Mr.Kim says while the chair spins around. We are faced with an older looking man, probably close to Mr.Kim’s age who is giving us a serious glare. All he did was stare at us and not even say one word. As the silence got overwhelming, I started to speak for the group. “Hello Mr.Hu. It's a pleasure to have you at the company today.” After that I stayed quiet but was reassured by Haru when he started to speak. “Hello my name is Kim Haru, I'm one of the designers for the clothing brand. It's a pleasure to meet you Mr.Hu.” After that he glared at Haru and began to speak, “You must be Mr.Kim’s son. It's nice to meet you, kid.” It surprised us because before that he didn't say anything. After that the meeting went smoothly although most of it was Mr.Hu talking to Haru and ignoring the rest of us. It wasn't annoying but it was worrisome because it looked like the man didn't even want to put us into the picture and just blocked us out of his eye view point. I could see from the others that it hurts because if you're going to help us, it has to be all of us, not just paying your mind to only one person. Soon enough the meeting ended although Mr.Hu and Haru kept conversating. We bowed and said our goodbyes to Haru, Mr.Kim, and Mr.Hu although he didn't deserve the respect. I was happy to leave that meeting so much and so was the rest of them. I took them to our office where we all work. It's a comfortable place that we stay at when we feel pressured, upset or just do important work at. I wanted them to vent their feelings so they wouldn't keep it in so long because I know they want to but don't want to be rude about it.
