"Vier, Mifumi-sama, Felin-chan, please be careful out there okay." 

"Thanks for the breakfast, Auntie." [felin]

"Will be extra careful doing quests, so don't worry Auntie Stelle." [mifumi]

Mifumi-sama is actually a Nobel. She is the firstborn of the Nobel Baron who governs this town, and Felin including me are her attendants.

Since both our families work for Mifumi-sama's GreenDale Baron House, and both of us are friends close to her age, we're both chosen to accompany her being an Adventurer. Still, I and Felin want to become Adventurer on our own together with Mifumi-sama. Even if we're not chosen to be her attendants, we will still accompany her in being an adventurer.

It's not like Mifumi-sama's family were poor Nobel that they need to make their firstborn daughter work as an Adventurer to earn money. Her family is quite rich compared to the other Nobel Barons. Mifumi-sama decides to become an Adventurer so that she could become strong enough to succeed as the BlackElf Sorceress and be able to protect our town.

The GreenDale town, which is also Mifumi-sama's Nobel Name, is the last in the north part of the Smilodon Kingdom and was named after the RankC ForestValley-Huant Dungeon which is located further north of the town. There is still the Outpost town right across the ForestValley-Huant, but it is more considered a Brigade Camp than a town.

If I compare the appearance of our town to the towns that I see in my dreams of MemoryFragments, I think it would be a replication of almost everything. That's probably because of many DreamHolders influencing our culture.

We don't have those tall unusual square buildings but we have the same stylish buildings made of wood from Haunt-type Dungeon, metal ores from Mine-type Dungeon, and glasses from Lake-type Dungeon. 

Our roads are not made of the same material as those solid roads that I see in my dreams but the stones covering our roads were reshaped and reinforced by GroundMagic so it's probably as sturdy and even as those solid roads.

The walls of our town were like those walls that protect the castle that I see in my dreams, but our walls were probably much more sturdy because of GroundMagic reinforcement.

The only difference is that we built our town while preserving the nature around us. We don't cut down trees and we don't destroy the grounds. If we did those things, the Elementals especially the Elf Race and Dwarf Race would be mad at the Humans.

Our town was not the only one that had this kind of appearance. Every town that I know looks like our town.

That's why I'm wondering why there are so many people on the road today. Hmmm, most of them are unfamiliar so they're probably visitors from other towns...

"Cat-face Vier-chan, stop monologuing while walking in the road. You could bump into someone." [mifumi]

"What? Cat-face?" [vier]

"Mhm! Be careful Vier, you might get hurt." [felin]

"Ugh!... Okay. But there are a lot of unfamiliar people today. Don't you think we're having too many visitors for a countryside town like ours?" [vier]

"Well, even though we're in the countryside, our town is still pretty famous you know, and our town specialties are famous too." [mifumi]

"Mhm! The foods from our town are delicious." [felin]

"Aside from foods, we had Grandma's Wine, Master Aranea's Potions and Antidotes, Master Berlin's Weapons, the Woods from the ForestValley-Huant, and most importantly, our town is connected to the ManaTrain Railroad." [mifumi]

"Mifumi-sama, the Dungeons are managed by the Adventurers Guild so I think we can't call the woods from the ForestValley-Huant our town's specialty." [vier]

"But it's the town's local adventurer, soldier, and lumberjack who harvest the woods and the town's people are the ones who are processing it." [mifumi]

"Hmmm... I guess you have a point about that." [vier]

For a countryside town, we surely have a lot of commendable things.

First, HighRank Adventurers like Misaki-sensei, are usually found at the Kingdom Capital's Adventurers Guild. Misaki-sensei and the Guild staff won't tell us her actual rank but according to some rumors, she's surely around GoldRank or even the highest of all a MithrilRank Adventurer.

Misaki-sensei is also making Wines using the method used by Humanity of the 2ndWorld. She told us that she acquired this knowledge during her adventurer days of exploring the Floating Islands of the 2ndWorld. This Wine business of Misaki-sensei caused our town to earn the title Drinking Capital of the North.

"Misaki-sensei likes to drink while eating meat." [felin]

"And a lot of Adventurers always come to buy her wine." [vier]

"Even Foreign Nobles and Royalties make their order every time the ManaTrain comes to our town." [mifumi]

Second, Mana and Heal Potions and many Antidotes can be made using the materials from the ForestValley-Huant Dungeon. That is why many Alchemists and Merchants visit our town to buy those materials.

We also have Master Aranea, a HighRank Alchemist, and a DeamonKin of the Arachne Race. She can easily make those highest quality Potions and Antidotes which are sold at her shop.

"Master Aranea's eyes are cool, she should show it more." [felin]

"Every child of this town will be scared of her if she does that Felin-chan." [mifumi]

"Having four pupils in both of her eyes shows that she is a DeamonArachne." [vier]

"Felin-chan was the only one who didn't get scared when we first saw her eyes." [mifumi]

Third, we have Master Berlin, a Blacksmith of the Dwarf Race, and a ForgeMaster of the Adventurers Guild. Unfortunately, he can't make many weapons here in our town because there are no Mine-type Dungeons around our town. His work is mostly focused on the maintenance of the ManaTrain Railroad and doing his Dwarf-duties of healing any infected or destroyed Land around our town's territory due to monster's activities.

"The ManaTrain is coming next month so the Guild will soon start gathering adventurers for Master Berlin's escorts." [vier]

"Do you think they'll accept CopperRank like us to join?" [mifumi]

"Don't worry Mifumi-sama, monsters around the Railroad are weak, even CopperRank Adventurer can join." [vier]

"Mhm! I've been there before too, monsters around there are weak." [felin]

"But we have to pass the Exam so we don't have time for that." [mifumi]

Finally, The woods harvested from the ForestValley-Huant are exported around the Continent using the ManaTrain which is under the authority of the Adventurer Guild.

"The trees near the end of the ForestValley-Huant need to be cut down yearly so they don't come out of the Dungeon." [vier]

"Mhm! Because of that the town always has extra woods to sell and it can be delivered using the ManaTrain." [mifumi]

"Those trees are weird. They grow big again in just a year." [felin]

"Well, those are not normal trees Felin-chan. Those trees are also part of the Dungeon." [mifumi]

The ecology inside the ForestValley-Huant Dungeon is made up of a single type of tree and lots of different insect-type monsters. For some reason, other types of trees don't grow inside the ForestValley-Huant.

Those trees don't bear any fruits or seeds, what is special about them are their leaves that contain Mana. Those leaves are the main ingredient for the Mana and Heal Potions that are made in our town and the main food sources of the insect-type monsters as well. Even though, those monsters will still prey on each other and any people that would come inside the Dungeon.

The leaves from those trees that will fall to the ground will grow into a 20-meter-tall tree in just one year. If the Adventurers Guild doesn't cut down the trees near the border of the ForestValley-Huant, there is a chance that the leaves would infect the normal Forest outside the Dungeon and the animals Reserve near the town.

"Another specialty of our town is the WoodPrint company that handles the distribution of Kumiko-sensie's work, right Vier-chan?" [mifumi]

"They're always crying every time you bring your story, Vier." [felin]

"Those were tears of joy Felin." [vier]

"More like tears of despair Vier-chan." [mifumi]

"Ugh!... But they're the ones that asked me first if they could publish my stories so it's not my fault okay." [vier]

"Mr. WoodPrint always looks tired whenever I see him at my Father's office you know." [mifumi]

"That is the price for the Fame of his company." [vier]

"Mhm! Everything comes with a price!" [felin]

"Please don't imitate those words from Vier-chan's stories, Felin-chan." [mifumi]

"Hmmm?" [felin]

"Sheesh. Vier-chan, please be careful of what you say in front of Felin-chan." [mifumi]

"Eh? Why is that my fault Mifumi-sama?" [vier]

"Of course it is."[mifumi]

Another commendable thing about our town is that it provides the supplies for the Outpost town. The Knights, Valkyries, and Soldiers which were stationed at the Outpost town always monitor the border of our Kingdom. They don't have any time to develop agriculture in that town so the GreenDale town supports them by providing their supplies.

"The Knights, the Valkyries, and Soldiers were always monitoring the border for any suspicious movement from the Empire at the north." [mifumi]

"They need to work hard or the Captain of the Brigade will be mad at them." [vier]

"You don't have to say that Vier-chan. They're all working hard because our town is important to them." [mifumi]

"Mhm! They are good people, they treat me to a meal if I see them in town."  [felin]

"Ehh? Really? Felin-chan, don't go alone with someone you are not familiar with." [mifumi]

"It's okay Mifumi-sama, we go with other children whenever they treat us to a meal." [felin]

"They're probably thinking they will have good luck if they give you some offerings." [vier]

"Hmmm? Good luck? Offerings?" [felin]

"Sheesh. Vier-chan, I just told you to be careful of your words in front of Felin-chan." [mifumi]

"Ugh!... Sorry!... Anyway, what's important is that those visitors won't call us Country Bumpkin, right Mifumi-sama?" [vier]

"Really? That's what all this talk is about Vier-chan?" [mifumi] 

"Mhm! Of course!" [vier]
