“Don’t worry, we won’t let our children to be killed by our families, I won’t let this happen.”

“I know, b-but we can’t fight with them all, this was supposed to be the happiest moment of our lives, but here we are crying about what to do.”

“Don’t worry my love, I have a plan.”

From here I don’t remember nothing until I was able to see properly. And when I saw myself in the mirror I understood what happened

( There’s no f***ing way, this is a joke,right. Oh my god, this life really likes to f**k with you. How the hell I am a baby, a f***ing baby. This might be a good thing, meaning that I was reborn, and death really is relative after all, but still I don’t like the situation I’m in)

After some time I got used to this,after all in my previous life I didn’t have a family, all my supposed friends walked away as I became more and more powerful, so at some time I found myself alone, and found my end stabbed by a person I tought a knew and trusted.

But having the love of a family is the best thing in life. Feeling the warmth of their hugs, their smiles, and all the things they do to you, all of it made me happy.

The things that didn’t made me happy was the fact that at first I couldn’t do anything. No walking, no talking, no eating and no nothing by myself. It was engraved into my brain, that I have to do everything by myself, and a situation when I can’t do a thing is not something I’m used to.

As time passed I gained more and more of my body functions. The best thing was being able to move, because now I can at least walk around, and as a former warrior, is good to feel that your legs are listening to you.

And one of the best things that happened was being able to go to the bathroom and not using diapers. Man its so good having some privacy while taking a dump. I stayed so much without walking that I forgot how to fight, or my body isn’t quite developed for fighting.

Anyway, in my four years in this world, I put my brain to work and started learning more and more about this world by reading books about it. Even my parents found it a little weird that after playing they found me on the ground looking at books.

Yes, I know that a four-year-old boy should play and not read books, but desperate situations call for desperate measures, and yes, now the saying ‘knowledge is power’ sure has found its meaning. After I started reading all the books I could find, and when I say all, I mean it, I literally read a cooking book.

It was interesting, actually, because I found a recipe about how to cook an inferno rooster, and yea, that’s a thing and a delicious thing because my parents know how to cook it and I eat it frequently. It tastes like grilled chicken but a little more spicy, and the meat itself, when cooked, has somehow a glowing pink colour.

Unfortunately, we don’t have garlic. We have a thing called flaming seaweed, and it has a garlic taste, but for some reason it is more expensive than the rooster itself and yes, it is a plant that burns underwater.

This world itself is like my world, but it have a lot more monsters, all sorts of mythical creatures, but at the same time, it is quite modern, it doesn’t have skyscrapers, but it has public transport, but I will talk about those later. This world is jaw-dropping, I mean, I didn’t see something so cool even with virtual reality chambers from my world,used for training. For some reason every person is born with an ability, and I just found out that mine is ‘Martial arts king’ so yes, it looks like the fighting path follows me wherever I go. I don’t have much proeficiency in martial arts but I have to improve my skills. I was better in sword play but that have to wait for another time.

One day, about a month after I got my ability, I stayed under an old tree and looked at my dad’s training. My dad, Ryan Zachary, who was in his thirties, was pretty tall, like 1,85 m with dark hair and well built , he was always smiling and cracking jokes, he was a positive energy in the house. My mom, Rose, who was a little younger than my dad, had long golden hair going past her shoulders. She was now wearing an apron because of the cooking, but I can say for sure that she was beautiful, and she was joyful like my dad, I have what you could say is a beautiful family.

In my case, ‘the mighty’ Lucas, I hoped for a more tanned skin not this milky pink one, and why this dark hair, it couldn’t be something more interesting like a flaming red or at least the brown hair from my previous life.The only nice thing I inherited was my mom’s azure eyes, those eyes will help me with girls, if I have courage to talk with them.

Some are wondering why I’m not freaked out about dying and being reborn in another world, and I was freaked out about it for sure, but I don’t remember anything about my first months of life, so I can’t say for sure.

As I said earlier, as I was cooling myself from the scorching sun under an old willow and drinking water, my father wanted to train me to learn how to use my ability, but it couldn’t go well because I was like half his height. But let’s see how it will go:

“Son, first things first, you need to activate your ability, and to do so, you need to either think about it or say it out loud and think about activating it,” said my dad with a smile on his face.

Okay, here we go.....*huff*..... Martial Arts activate”,I said with a low voice, and as soon as I said it, my aura started glowing with a shiny gold colour (because in this world we use our soul power to activate our abilities, or some of us, even use magic, but I will explain it in detail at a later time).

“Omg, I did it, dad, now what?

“Now, I will try to attack you, and you will try to dodge, don’t worry, I won’t go all out”, my dad said as he started laughing.

Wearing a serious look, my dad started his attack, “Okay, son, here I go”.

He started rushing towards me, and when he was like 3 steps away, he lunged with his stick to touch the zone where my stomach was located, but when he did that, he started moving in slow motion, and I easily moved to the left and dodged it. After that, he went to the heart, and I dodged to the right, and after like 5 or 6 dodges, the slow motion thing stopped. I couldn’t dodge his attack on my leg with the stick, and with that, the training stopped.

With a surprised yet questioning look on his face, my dad approached me.

“ Son, what was that? I didn’t see such exceptional reflexes in my life. Even though I was holding back, you moved like a completely different person”, he said with the same puzzled look but this time with a slight pride in his voice.

“To be honest, dad, I don’t know, I think it was the ability because when you approached me, I saw you moving slower than usual , and I just moved left or right to dodge, but at some point I saw you moving really fast all of a sudden and couldn’t dodge”, I said, being completely honest because in this moment I can’t comprehend what just happened with my body.

To be able to properly control my ability, I trained with my dad and started doing meditation because he told me that through meditation I would be able to sharpen my senses and refine or purify my soul energy. In that regard, I learned that soul energy is like mana from my world.

The soul energy is the power that rules this world to some extent,because there are abilities that don’t require much purity of the soul, or there are people with money who don’t need power to protect or conquer as long as they have money.

From what I read and what my dad and mom told me, more pure soul energy means stronger attacks and a longer use of the ability itself, so the whiter the soul core, the better. The soul’s purity has stages or levels of purity, which are either referred to as colours or percentages. If I were to use the colour method, I would go from black to white, passing through red, blue, green, azure, and silver.

This is the general idea of it, and, of course, between those are some complementary colours that some like to use to describe their soul purity (like between red and blue we have violet), but that is only for those who like the ‘colour system’ so this is why we also have the percentage system for those who prefer numbers to colours, but those are things too far for me at the moment.

 I will probably refer to my purity level only when I achieve one of the general or primary colours. But lots of people use to characterize their purity saying low, medium,high, purity, something like that.

I am very curious about what this world has to offer me.
