Hun returned to the temple safely. When he entered, he found everyone busy with cleaning duty, so he decided to go and change his form and clothes before he proceeded to help them.
After they finished everything, Sister Oriana changed her clothes and prepared to pray all night long. Her steps were light as feathers so whoever was around, wouldn't be able to sense her and would get a scare fright.
Things were fine at the first part of the night, she finished praying early and walked back to her room.
Whenever Sister Oriana reaches calmness, she knows she can walk back to her room without worrying about a thing, knowing fully well she will be able to sleep peacefully and won't have nightmares.
Nightmares have remained ever since she came to live in the temple, horrifying scenes, and repetitive past actions she tried to forget. So Uriel's Wing -as her Archangel's wish- told Sister Oriana to start praying at night when no one was around. So Archangel Uriel can help her and bring peace and calmness to her.
Thanks to that, sleeping was no longer a troublesome option and she could wake up healthy and refreshed to do her duties fully.
As always, the walk back to the dorms was calm, but something was different. Something was missing, "High priest- Ack!! What am I thinking about?!" She slapped her cheeks and rushed to her bedroom. She touched her beating heart and tried to breathe normally but the air was suddenly warm and heavy.
"Hun~" He turned to the mirror and found himself in his original form, "No, no way. H- How did I turn back to my form?" He turned back to look around but there was only darkness, he shivered and opened his mouth to call for anyone, but smoke came out indicating the room's coldness.
Everything around him brought back one of the worst memories he had through his life in the King of Demons castle. Loneliness, disgust, and the most familiar one, fear. The king was a tyrant, it was something expected from The Hell ruler where there is nothing but destruction, fire, and sins. But the king? He exceeded every being, a devil or a human, he was the worst of them all.
The air started getting heavy making it harder to breathe, Hun held his chest and wheezed while sweat formed on his forehead.
When he turned around, he was met with broad shoulders and bloody red hair with white strands. The big person turned around and the first thing Hun was met with was the same cold eyes and two huge thorns on the forehead, "K- Ki- King-" The Devil held his jaw and pulled him closer, "Hmph, look at you, trembling at the sight of me!" He scoffed, "Yet, this excites me, hehehe ahahhahahhaaha!!!"
Hun trembled and tears started streaming down his cheek. Yes, he recalled this memory, this was a day after his twin was killed by the Archangels. The Demons' King called for him in his chamber, things were fine until he pushed Hun to the bed.
The poor little demon wasn't used to all that so he was afraid. He was scared to make a mistake and get himself killed. He was afraid it would be painful, especially with the King's size. But most importantly, he did NOT want that at all, he didn't want to become the King's plaything. The whole idea scared him and having that come true was the most horrifying thing.
Before he could react further, the demon pushed him to the ground and towered over him, Hun watched with horror as the King did the same thing as before.
"Look over there" he whispered in the trembling kitty's ear, "look at the human suffering with his old memories. Hah! You two are alike, aren't you?"
Hun watched Father Asher being punished by his father physically and emotionally, the view wrenched his heart, 'we don't look alike' Hun thought, 'we will never be the same, he's a mortal and he will find peace when he dies, unlike me who will suffer forever' tears kept falling while he stared at Asher trembling in the middle of punch swings.
"Hehe~ Look at yourself being obedient~" He took off his trousers and was about to start but a bolt of lightning struck his head making him dizzy before he jumped from his place and tried to stand on his feet.
He looked down and saw Hun's heart and tears glowing, he turned to look at Asher whose heart was also glowing though its owner didn't see that. "Ha! Hahahahahaha!!! Are the Archangels serious?! They're allowing that?!" His shock didn't last because another bolt of lightning hit him sending him out of their dreams.
Hun stood up slowly and walked to Asher, the priest looked up at him in horror, "Prove me you don't fear old memories like him" he opened his eyes slowly, touched his wet cheeks, took a deep breath, and sighed.
The bright daylight rays guided themselves to his room, yet the room was still gloomy, even the sound of chirping birds didn't get his mood any better.
For the first time in a while, Hun didn't want to leave his bed, and because of that troubles decided to enter his life again.
"Hun?" Auriel's Wing knocked on his room's door for the fifth time today, but he didn't reply to her... Again...
"Is she still there?" The worried sisters asked the Wing, she shook her head worrying them more, "We have to do something for her, we can't leave Sister Oriana alone like that!!"
Amid their planning, the subject of their worries was hiding under the blanket sniffing and wiping his tears for the tenth time today. The waves of sad and scary memories kept flooding as if they were forcing him to remember who he was.
"He's still hiding?"
"Yes. His energy is decreasing as if he's welcoming the end with open arms" Archangel Urial shivered and sighed before she turned to look back at the door and then to the ball connecting her with her Wing, "Please keep trying, I'll go talk with Michael" she walked out and was met with Michael's big chest, she huffed and pushed him away before she pointed for him to follow her.
She entered her room and turned back to look at her guest but he was standing outside like a statue, "It's a critical discussion and I can't let any being hear a thing" When he saw how serious she was, he frowned before entering the room and shutting the door after him.
