Gareicht spent most of his time thinking in his bed, he just...couldn't fall asleep, knowing that soon this 'vacation' of his would come to an end, he sighed and then clenched his teeth. He felt so powerless. He used up his remaining energy thinking and ended up knocking himself out.
The dream he had was a past memory, he and his family enjoying leisure time together, before the incident, until both his father and mother's bodies disappeared in his dream, their house also disappearing...all that was left was him and his sister.
"Hello, brother." She smiled at him.
He felt confused.
She leaned over, as if she was a cat, "You can't say hi to your sister anymore?"
"Ah, sorry, I'm just lost in thoughts." He grabbed onto his head.
She grabbed onto his hand, "Hey doofus, I'm still waiting for my hello."
Ah, there was the sassiness that he missed, it caused him to laugh a little.
"Do you still think that this is a normal dream? Your sassy sister is here in the flesh, okay well maybe not in the flesh but you know what I mean."
He stared silently at her.
"Tell me what's on your mind. I'll be here until you wake up, as long as you don't piss me off."
He started to tell her about his curse, Ellava, how many days left they had with each other, and just how he was worried about her.
"Okay first off, you don't need to worry about me, strive for your own happiness." She gave him a genuine smile.
"But I'd be happier, if you woke up, I mean you're my baby sister."
"Gareicht, I am happy, and I don't want to wake up."
His eyes went wide, "Wait...what? I don't...I don't understand."
"It's not something that you have to understand, I guess, but just know this, as long as I stay asleep...I can prevent the second coming of her."
"Her? Who?" He furrowed his eyebrows.
She put a finger to her lips, "That's on a need-to-know basis, and hopefully you'll never have to know. Just focus on spending time with Ellava, and have you told her?"
"Told her what?"
"Don't act dumb. We're in your head, I have access to all of your thoughts."
"You're not being fair." He grumbled.
"Well I'm your baby sister, you have to spoil me." She laughed and stuck her tongue out at him.
"Hmph," He uttered, and turned his gaze away from her.
"But seriously, tell her, and don't visit me. Promise." She demanded.
"You know," He started, resting his head on his hand, "When you act like that, you say the opposite of what you feel. You actually miss me, don't you?"
This caused her to turn red in embarrassment, "I'll be mad at you if you visit me. Besides, if you want to cry and hold my hand that badly, you can do it after your time with her is up."
"You always have to get the last word in." He sighed, "Fine, you win."
"I knew you had a some brains under that thick skull of yours." She smiled teasingly.
"That's it!" He got up and started to chase her around, laughing from the both of them could be heard within his headspace.
And then suddenly she stopped, "Ah, I have to go know, I shouldn't be gone too long, you'll be waking up soon anyway."
"It's been...that long already? Then...bye Ashelia." He wore a sad smile.
"Bye Gareicht." She disappeared into a blinding light and then he woke up.
