"Where are we going?" she added, her curiosity getting the better of her.
He turned to walk away, his emerald eyes gleaming. "To a dark room, just like you wanted," he answered.
Lucia watched his retreating figure stop as he, turned to look at her with a hint of mystery in his gaze. "Trust me," he said, his voice a seductive whisper, "you won't need to worry about the light there."
Callum led the way out of the spacious balcony and towards the corridor. He navigated through the maze of doors until he stopped at one of them.
Lucia followed him, feeling her heart quicken. He held the door handle and twisted it, opening the door. He walked into the room and turned around to look at her. He said, "Give me your hand."
Lucia swallowed and hesitated, but she put her hand in his. He pulled her gently, making her follow him into the room. He shut the door behind him, plunging them into darkness. The room was indeed dark, with only one dimly lit lamp in the back of the room.
Lucia couldn't even see where she was. She felt his arm around her waist, guiding her into the room. He said, "Don't be afraid. I'm here with you."
They stood so close in the quiet room that they could hear each other's breaths, warm and ragged. He wrapped his arms around her waist and whispered, "Do you want to continue?"
Lucia felt a surge of nervousness. She looked up at him, but his face was a blur behind the mask. "Can you take off your mask?" she asked softly. "The room is quite dark and I promise I can't see much. And I'll do the same. I just want everything to feel real. I'll take off mine as well."
He hesitated for a moment, then nodded. He loosened his grip on her waist and reached behind his head. He unhooked his mask and placed it on the table beside the door, exposing his face to her gaze.
He looked at her with a question in his eyes. "Can I?" he asked, pointing to her mask.
Lucia nodded and felt his hand move to the back of her head. He gently removed her mask and set it next to his. She felt a rush of air on her face.
As their eyes locked, Lucia's voice trembled with uncertainty. "What now?" she whispered, her heart pounding in her chest.
He smiled faintly and wrapped his arm around her waist, pulling her close to his chest. "We continue," he said softly. He tilted her chin up and lowered his head, brushing his lips against hers.
Lucia closed her eyes and felt a surge of emotion. He kissed her gently, then deepened the kiss, making her gasp.
His tongue explored her mouth, sending shivers down her spine. She clung to him, digging her fingers into his suit jacket. He kissed her with passion and urgency, making her feel things she had never felt before. He bent her head back and moved his lips to her neck, nibbling and sucking on her skin. She moaned and arched her back, offering him more access. He kissed his way back to her mouth and claimed it again, making her dizzy.
Lucia felt overwhelmed by the intensity of his kiss. She moved her hand and placed it on his chest, pushing him away gently. He stopped and looked at her with concern. Lucia breathed deeply, trying to calm her racing heart. She slowly opened her eyes and met his gaze. They remained standing, locked in each other's arms. She felt like a child who had just discovered a new world. She whispered, "Is that what it feels like? I can feel my lips tingle."
Callum couldn't help but let out a soft chuckle. Lucia felt a flush of embarrassment as she realized she had voiced her thoughts aloud. She glared at him and said, "It's not funny."
He smiled apologetically and said, "I'm sorry for laughing."
She huffed and said, "Don't think I can't tell. Even though I can't see you clearly, it doesn't mean my other senses are dull. I can clearly hear you trying to stifle a laugh."
