ALEX's  P.O.V. 💜

       The man turns around in a flash and storms towards us with what looks like a killer intention. My entire existence flashes before my eyes and I immediately chant all the prayers that I had never said in my whole life,  to seek the Divine protection!

The Dad snatches Jan out of my arms giving me a death glare... 

"You!" He barks with rage dripping his voice, causing me to jump with fear. 

The man is about to spit some more fire when he is interrupted by a sweet angelic voice...

"Dadda don't get mad at Lexie" he scolds his father with the cutest angry face ever!

  'Whoa! I earned a nickname from my Chocopie!' I mentally celebrate. However, the positive emotions are cut short with me landing back to my terror-stricken state due to all the murderous aura floating in the air.

"I was upset so I...I... r-ran out of the school...when the teacher wasn not lo-looking.. and um... Lexie helped me..." Jan tries to say sternly ( Emphasis on "tries"). However, his face turns a shade of deeper red as the cutie fidgets with his chubby hands.

'This kid has me whipped!! He even gave me a nickname and now he is even protecting me!! My lil Prince in shining armor!!!' I mentally wipe my tears of joy...

   After listening to his son's words,  his Dad takes a proper look at me. The scowl and popping veins over his temples start to smoothen as if realization had dawned upon his senses. His face switches from aggression to one filled with worries and he checks his son's tiny body for any sort of injuries. After a brief inspection, which thankfully had a negative outcome, he finally calms down giving out a sigh of relief. 

Oh no! Did I just forget to describe this eternal beauty who is (sadly) the DAD??? 

Yes... guess I did!!!

In my defense, I was busy admiring the profundity of the earth while I cowered with fear for my existence just a while ago, so my system failed to collect refined data over this hotty....

This man is not at all the cute type that I had imagined presuming Jan's looks. The guy is rather a bit tanned with a ripped body perceptible even through the multiple layers of his clothing. He is presently rocking a black turtle neck with matching trousers and a moon-grey checkered overcoat paired with black loafers. 

Whoa! This guy is a total package also being gifted with that towering 6.3 inches height of his, which isn't much different than me though...

'You're just 5.7... You dwarf!'  The Devil inside me snickered... 

'Damn this piece of shit! Isn't he supposed to be on my side???' I mentally facepalm and shut him off...

Soooo, as you might have guessed already, I pretty much talk/ fight/ and makeup with my damn self... Any problems???

    Anyways, back to this gorgeous man here... His deep green eyes seem like sparkling Emeralds, changing expressions at the speed of lightning with the most beautiful being when he looks at his son with pure love... He has these perfectly sharp features as if the Lord had taken a vacation just to carve him out and then polished him with the finest material...!

His nose stands high while his lips are as if an art painted with perfect symmetry and fullness. The small cracks make them look a bit chapped yet give them a humane and sexy touch since the lack of moisture compels him to constantly lick them wet...

This was the longest I have ever stared at a person's face I suppose. His eyebrows abruptly furrow when his attention shifts back to me. It is as if he's trying to make out the things coursing through my tiny head which again makes me thankful to the deities above for not letting mankind have any mind-reading abilities....until now atleast..... like seriously!

  "Sorry..." the guy finally says massaging the back of his neck looking slightly nervous in the process.

"And thank you for helping my Pup," he ultimately smiles to which I just nod, unsure about how to respond...

     

Now don't get all judgemental on me! I'm just bad when it comes to speaking out aloud with (adult) strangers. Since I'm mostly used to speaking with myself and yeah kids and doggos never lie or disappoint you so that's pretty much my zone.

I was pulled out of my thoughts when Jan tugged on my shirt, 

"Dadda can we take Lexie home?" Jan asks his father displaying his puppy eyes.

'Well, I can see why his Dad calls him Pup now!' I chuckled internally. 

Oh! wait a damn second!!!!......... What did this Honeybun say??? 

As soon as my brain processes this little Pup's request, I start to panic... Yeah, I would go to the moon and back for this little minion and not gonna lie for his mouth-watering Dad too but, first of all, his Mom might just kill me and second, it's too soon to be getting involved with any individual in general.

"Sure Pup... but only if this beauty wants to. We can get some lunch and ice cream too" his father says granting his Pup's wishes while planting a loving peck on his forehead before turning to me with a smirk.

I feel like this guy is trying to observe my whole existence at once, examining me from top to bottom without restrictions... Anddd that's starting to get a little uncomfortable...

Although his gaze has softened compared to before, it's not helping much since now his laser-sharp gaze is drilling holes in my head resulting in my sight being fixated back to Mother Earth dreading to meet his eyes yet again.

  'Wow! ... Is this guy just flirting with us???' My inner devil speaks up...

 I mentally brush him off, before he puts unnecessary stuff in my head.

'Well technically I'm already in your head you dumbassss!' the Devil retorts grinning.

Whatever! I have more urgent matters to attend to right now! 

"Ummm... I should pass on that offer... I was on my way for my job interview" I lie still avoiding any sort of eye contact. (Well it's not a complete lie though since I am out to find a job anyway!)

  

"Pleasssseeee Lexie, you promised that we would have ice cream" Jan pleads with those big light green orbs of his, as he anticipates a positive answer.

  The heavy aura floating through the air finally vanishes and what meets my sight is a glorious picture with imaginary flowers blooming around the duo who have virtually similar expressions at the moment.

A smile spreads on my lips at the view in front of me,

'So cute...I can totally see the resemblance now' I exclaim to myself.

Or maybe not!

  I might have just said that aloud cause I heard the dad's sweet laughter. 

"So I take that as a yes," he says in between his chuckles, making Jan giggle with him.

'What a beautiful pair of son and father' I admire with a blush coating my cheeks.

Did I fuck up??? 

-Yesss! 

But does it feel absolutely amazing???

-Also yes!

'I'll just have some food since I'm already hungry and then make an excuse and get away!' I make a quick plan before saying a simple "OK..." to the duo's offer.

"Oh! I am so sorry I forgot to introduce myself... I'm Daniel, you can call me Dan" he says extending his right hand out with a big goofy smile.

"Alexander....Alex" I revert taking his hand for a quick shake. Even his hands are damn gorgeous with all the veins popped up and a "J" with flowers tattooed on the inside of his right forearm!

  I was pulled out of my daze with Jan calling out  "Lexie" adorably while he was stretching his tiny hands out toward me...

'My sweet lil Chocopie wants to be carried by me instead of his Dad!!!' My heart does a summersault and accepts the bundle of cuteness into my arms, blushing a little since Dan keeps eyeing me with an amused expression.

  

"Mmmmm... You smell good Lexie" Jan says softly, snuggling into my neck and resting his head on my shoulder his warm breath fanning my bare skin. 

I think he was exhausted from all the crying... Dan gestures towards a black car parked not far from us. Guess he already picked that Jan is sleepy and is trying to be as quiet as possible. Nodding in understanding, I follow right behind him as he leads the way while stroking Jan's back slowly to make him comfortably fall asleep.

I throw all the conscious righteousness out of the window and smash all the alarms going off inside my head as I take a seat inside the luxurious car...
