The characters’ personalities, motives, and arcs also went through some major changes before their designs were finalized. Fern’s less cynical, but also less confident and flirty as their original design. Arcade’s still a bit of a dumbass, but with more nuance. He has more emotional depth than originally, which you guys will get a lot of in upcoming chapters.
