Tarun explains how the target's identity was hidden in the lyrics of three songs in the film. One just has to carefully find and put together the words in order to unravel the mystery.
This leads to many social media users beginning their investigations, and a few weeks later, they discover the target isn't just one person but many people as a whole.
And as Tarun had possibly intended, many such people feel offended and start to bully him on the social media. This sentiment is felt across multiple parts of the country, with different people interpreting it differently. Tarun comes forward to state things are going exactly as he had expected, and seeing everyone's outrage, he feels relieved even though this might stain his career forever, because he had always wanted to anger those specific targets. He used to feel helpless whenever he saw them ruin things for others, and eventually grew intolerant of them.
Tarun further recalls his own reaction when he saw that illegal film before starting the shoot of his own version. The film originally targeted just one organization, but Tarun added his own touch to it by writing his screenplay in such a way that it ended up targeting multiple other people at the same time.
The film soon becomes a hot topic across the globe, and viewers from many countries start criticizing Tarun for "misusing" cinema to promote his own personal hatred towards his "targets" who are not even directly related to him in any way. The targets themselves take to social media like they always do and even resort to vote brigading to bring down the film's scores on multiple websites. While a lot of viewers do so, many come forward in his support and promote the film further. Tarun even encourages those pirates to release the HD print and circulate it all over the world, further claiming this was never about the money. A lot of debates and interviews take place, where he is asked about why he gave away the target's identity like this when he had earlier announced to do so moments before his death.
Tarun chuckles and compares this downfall to an actual death; since he knew his career was probably going to "die" after this, he decided to reveal the truth moments before this "death". When questioned about this choice and what he plans on doing next, especially after the massive outrage worldwide, Tarun says he doesn't really have any plans and should've considered this whole thing before making the move. He admits to destroying his own career without really thinking of the effects it would have even on his personal life. Tarun also believes he is a worldwide target now, and all because he expressed an opinion.
However, he is glad to have found a large amount of support as well, and wishes to focus on that. Later, Ankit contacts Tarun and asks him why he did what he did, to which Tarun replies by saying he might have dirtied his global reputation by merely speaking what he and the original filmmaker felt, but the relief he has found after doing so is what many people in a film industry or a common man in general can never get to experience. Tarun looks out of the window and noticing the crowd outside, which includes both his fans as well as haters, posts on social media:
"I guess I should make a short film next."
