Masters of Monsters Taming with E-Rank Talent

Chapter : 12 Magic Swordsman Job

Chapter : 12 Magic Swordsman Job

Sep 15, 2023

Teacher Julie stormed into Principal Waldo's office, disrupting the tranquil environment he had created with his comic books. Startled, Principal Waldo quickly hid the comic in one of his desk drawers. He was keen on preserving his dignity as the head of the school.

"Principal Waldo," Teacher Julie began, her tone no-nonsense, "there's something you need to see." She handed Principal Waldo a thick book, her expression filled with both excitement and awe.

Principal Waldo, accustomed to more mundane matters, took the book with curiosity. As he flipped through its pages, his eyes widened in disbelief. "Is this your work, young man?" he asked, directing his attention toward Ace.

Ace nodded, his voice steady with determination. "Yes, sir. I've been working on a cultivation method that combines the mage and warrior disciplines. I believe it can eliminate the limitations of both paths and create more versatile beast tamers."

Principal Waldo considered Ace's words, realizing the potential significance of what lay before him. "Ace, what do you want in return for sharing this cultivation method with us?" he asked, understanding that such knowledge couldn't be given away lightly.

Ace pondered his response carefully. He recognized that the school's resources and support would be invaluable on his journey to greatness. "I would like the school to provide me with additional resources for cultivation," he replied. "Access to unique training facilities, rare herbs, and any guidance or mentorship you can offer would be greatly appreciated."

Principal Waldo agreed to Ace's request, acknowledging the fairness of his demand. "Your request is reasonable, Ace, and we will provide you with the resources you need. In return, we ask that you share your progress and insights with the school. Your cultivation method could become a cornerstone of our curriculum."

Ace nodded in agreement, fully aware of the responsibilities that came with his groundbreaking discovery. He understood that this path would be filled with challenges and discoveries, but it was a journey he was prepared to undertake.

Principal Waldo had another question on his mind, and he addressed Ace with it. "Ace, what you've presented here is a fusion of mage and warrior skills. Could you explain why you believe this fusion is necessary?"

Ace stepped forward, ready to articulate his reasoning. "Principal, both mages and warriors have their strengths and weaknesses. When a mage is deep in a forest, battling monsters, they can exhaust all their mage energy. In such a situation, if their pets are unable to protect them, the mage is left defenseless and vulnerable."

Principal Waldo nodded, understanding the dire consequences of such a scenario. Ace continued, "Conversely, if a warrior encounters a formidable foe, such as a ghost-type monster that physical attacks can't harm, they may find themselves at a disadvantage. However, if they possess mage skills as well, they can use magic to protect themselves effectively."

Principal Waldo contemplated Ace's words, recognizing the potential benefits of merging the two paths. "So, in essence, this fusion can lead to fewer casualties among beast tamers," he murmured, envisioning a safer world for those who ventured into monster-infested territories.

Ace nodded emphatically. "Yes, Principal. By bridging the gap between mage and warrior skills, beast tamers can adapt to a wider range of challenges and overcome the limitations of their respective disciplines."

Principal Waldo, now convinced of the importance of Ace's discovery, felt a sense of responsibility. "Ace, what you've brought to us is more than a mere cultivation method. It has the potential to reshape the world of beast tamers. We will keep this a closely guarded secret until the time is right to share it with the world."

Ace's eyes sparkled with gratitude and determination. He knew that the journey ahead would be filled with challenges, but it was a path he was willing to tread to unlock the full potential of his fusion cultivation method.
