Elijah stared heavily at the book,the more he looked at it the more familiar it got to him, it was like he had already read the book. He was about to walk away when he heard a voice "is that you Elijah?" Elijah turned to see who had called his name,It was a young male in his late twenties who had tall brown hair with hazel eyes. He looked like he hadn't eaten anything in days.

"I'm so glad you're alive..sadly not many of us survived" the young man said, (i'm lost what the hell is he talking about..) Elijah looked at the man with a confused expression,the man spoke in a panic voice"No!,they got to you!" The man's eyes were filled with fear before Elijah could speak he ran away, Elijah was about to chase him down but he decided not to. (If I chase him it might lead me to my own death, besides I have no memory of that man).

Elijah managed to reach the apartment complex. It had a gothic design, it was brown in color. A group of police officers surrounded the building they were dressed in black ,they had a saber to their left side of their waist on the right side was a and gun it was a very old model."if you don't live in this apartment then get moving" a young officer said his voice seemed familiar to him "he sounds like.." before he could finish his sentence a young male police officer came up to him, his eyes glowed a bright red his hair was of a hazel color, hes presence brought Elijah a great sense of fear (he was one of the men that night).

"Hey you!,Do you live here?" the young man asked his eyes slowly faded to a light blue color. "Yeah i live here,.. i just came to pick up some stuff, can i go get them?" Elijah managed to spit out a few words, his head was spinning. Elijah could not think straight the young man walked over to the other officers; they were out of ear shot so Elijah could not hear what they were saying.

Thirty seconds passed and the young man came over "you can go in'' Elijah walked into the building he saw a flight of stairs that led to the second floor he walked up them, once he had reached the second floor he could see claw marks on the walls of the hallway (that thing from that night must have came through here..) Elijah saw his door then opened it he saw his plain old small apartment he closed the door behind him then went to the bedroom there were bookshelf in the corner of the room he went to the desk where there were a lot of papers which he could not read he looked at them again then suddenly he could read them

"SAVE ME!"

All of the papes repeated the same thing over and over "what the fuck?" Elijah moved through the pale of papers but they all said the same thing. Through the mess he saw a book cover. It was a journal "if this is the cover then where the hell is the rest of it?" Elijah searched the room for his journal; he checked everywhere the last place he had not checked was the Bookshelf.

Elijah slowly started to take down books to see if they had a cover he started from the bottom in a few minutes he was at the middle he took out a book it was called "The Outsiders" but it didn't have the same cover as the one at the store, Elijah was about to read through the book when he looked up to see that there was an iron safe hidden behind the book Elijah placed the outsider book unto the desk.

Elijah pushed away the others books they fell to the floor he took out the safe, Elijah then realized that he did not have a pin number to it Elijah looked to the desk he saw the book the outsider he opened it,Elijah flipped through the pages of the book on certain pages there were giant numbers at the corner of each page "This.." Elijah flipped through the pages five times he got a piece of paper then wrote down all the numbers he saw that were written at the corner of the page "this should make up a pin number" Elijah then spend the next few minutes putting in the numbers, he saw on the paper at the end he got five pairs of numbers.

Before Elijah placed in the numbers he checked to see what pin it use, he placed in random number it took awhile but he finished "so it needs a five number pin to unlock"Elijah looked over to the piece of paper that had the numbers on it, he placed in the four pin numbers they didn't unlock the safe Elijah only had one number left "80091" was the last one

The lock opened Elijah had a wide grin across his face in the safe there was a tattered book it didn't have a cover on it he looked into the safe again there was some cash to there was 8k pounds There was also a small notebook Elijah opened it up "is this a journal entry?"

I have left home with my best friend Marcus, I just don't feel that welcome at home anymore …the truth is that father disowned me for many reasons of course but I don't want to dwell on the past.

It's been a few days since i've been in this city oh yeah i forgot to mention that we are in Aurelia the city of gold!. We managed to find a job here the pay is quite good but i have to wear this stupid butler uniform anyway what i've learned from this city is that they use a different form of currency in the countryside we use dollars while the city use all type of things

1 copper coin = 1 cent

1 silver coin = 10 cents

1 pence = 100 cents (equivalent to 1 dollar)

1 rio = 1,000 cents (equivalent to 10 dollars)

1 lerio = 5,000 cents (equivalent to 50 dollars)

1 pound = 10,000 cents (equivalent to 100 dollars)

1 nero = 1,000,000 cents (equivalent to 10,000 dollars)

Back home was much simpler but I get paid 1 rio an hour which i work for about 10 every day which is not that bad because marcus and i are planning on renting out an apartment soon.

The entry ended Elijah flipped through more pages but they were all blank he placed the notebook back on the desk, Elijah picked up the journal with no cover on it he flipped through the pages they were all about the past him enjoying life until he hit an entry it was last year

We are so close to guardting i can taste the awards coming as i write this sadly marcus is not here to share this moment with me , he has been going out every night then coming home at five in the morning he always looked like he has seen some one die im very worried for him , maybe the cause for this are those longheart kids.. I know they are a very famous family but I just know there's something bad going on. I just need to find out.

Elijah flipped the page but it seemed to have gone missing like someone had ripped it out Elijah closely inspected the book it seemed the rip mark was quite old Elijah could see dirt marks on the ripped page, he slowly flipped the page he then found another entry it was from a few days ago.

I can feel my present self slowly melting away like sand in the wind…I fear that by the next time I wake up I will become someone else.. Why did i have to have such a fate …if i truly have faded then this l is the last time that will be left of my existence

If you are reading this then you are the one that has replaced me, your fate is sealed there is no escaping from this, even though you have taken my place i wish to help you. The information i have is very limited so all i can say is that if you wish to survive make strong allies my only warning is do not get involved with the loneheart family or the church of cosmos i wish i could explain more but that would place you in danger …i hope whoever the being that replaced me is a kind man that will save them.

The entry ended Elijah was filled with dread for himself (i replaced a living person…)he thought to himself, his knees went weak as he realized something the entire time he was here he was not summoned to this world nor placed into a fake body he was simply a bug that took over another person's body "hehe…i know have a clue on how i got here..thank you Elijah, if i haven't read this then i wouldn't have known of such a thing" .

Elijah cleaned up the room of the papers and book he got a bag and placed the journal inside it as he was getting ready to leave he saw a pendant on the top shelf he had never noticed it he reached for the pendent it was a sliver color the edges were lined with fools gold he tried to open it but it wouldn't budge, he placed it in the bad. He finally went for the door he saw a white letter on the floor beneath the door Elijah kneeled down to pick it up he analyzed it he flipped it to the front then he saw what it said " I Know Your Secret"
