There are many stars amongst the night sky.

They shimmer and shine in the most spectacular ways. 

Up on a grassy hill we gaze at the stars.

My dad says to me, “son. if you hold out your hand towards a star you can soon hold it - reach for it and never let go of it." I stick out my hand and tried to reach for one.

I close my eyes and see there are bright shining stars around me. I am in a place as big as an ocean and I began to swim. 

I knew I had to be brave and face my fear in the dark,

The trip was long and scary,

For a while I saw nothing but darkness and a lonely star, 

But I never gave up,

Believing in myself pushed me towards my dreams, to one day touch the stars. With all my strength I reached my hand out as far as I could, and

I got it! I got the star!

It was the happiest moment of my life,

But all dreams must come to an end, 

As I wake up back at the hill

My dad asked, “Did you catch the star?”

And I look up into the night sky and said, “Yes, I did.”

He show me a bright star on the horizon of the mountains.

It was the same star as before, brighter than most of the other stars.

And it calls me; It calls me to grab it once again.
