I hissed in pain and tears fell from my eyes .

I closed my eyes and with shaky breath put my hand on my damaged ankle.

The sound of someone or something coming closer and closer to me sent chills down my spine .

After taking a long breath I asked

I ended in panic with my lips trembling yet I stood with confidence.

And within a blink of eye the gigantic wolf turned into a human .

He walked around me in a circle, examining everything about me and than stopped in front of me once again.

When I didn't reply he turned around and started walking.

It was good enough that he was letting her go away alive and yet without knowing she started following him with her tiny steps.

He snarled and said with a loud voice that alone told her how furious he was but she couldn't let him go .

"Yes, I summoned you .

I called you here so please listen to me !"

She told him after gathering up the little bit of courage that she carried with her when she entered the forest Today.

He only became more furious and said while walking towards her with large yet measured steps.

"Huh!

So now, you want to control me !

The scar she was covering with a cloth now was visible for his eyes to see and after witnessing her behaviour he had realised why this child was holding onto him for her dear life .

"You want me to stay with you ?

And go back with you to accompany you for probably the rest of your life ?"

He asked her in a bit of mocking tone after she stopped crying.

She nodded again and again and he let out a heavy sigh yet once again.

'' Just stay with me for some time and-and if you feel like it . You can leave or do as you please."

She finished and hiccuped again.

She was no longer crying but her breathing wasn't normal yet.

"On one condition "

He informed her as he started walking towards the cold palace with her still on elbow.

She looked up with no hesitation in her eyes or emotions.

She was ready to do what ever he was going to tell her which made him smile a bit but of course he covered it with his usual poker face without her notice.

Princess stared at his vanishing back and stood there for some time .

The voice of her so called maid calling her brought her back out of her stance and she ran to the palace while looking back multiple times just to make sure that he was gone .

For once she was glad that this would be the last day of her suffering and struggle.

And as promised by the demon king her dinner was present in her room when her maid locked her in for the night and it was her first time looking at such a big meal that was given to her for her to eat solely.

She ate to her hearts consent as her tears ran down her cheeks frequently.

She never cried in front of anyone no matter what they did to her or how hard the situation was.
