After a mysterious night at the lavish party, Chin returned home, closed the door of her room, and was taken aback to find blood dripping from the edges of her study table . With an oddly calm demeanor, she grabbed a dusting cloth and casually cleaned the blood, muttering : how can people be so bad at doing their job.She seemed as she was used to it.

Soon, her mother entered the room, visibly upset. "Why did you do this today? If you didn't want to attend, you should have told me instead of defaming me like this in front of other designers," her mother scolded.

Chin replied with a hint of rebellion, "I told you, Mom, I didn't want to come, but you forced me. So I had to."

Her mother sighed. "You're so rebellious, but I'm not surprised. Your mother was also like that. I wish you'll end up like her."

Before leaving the room, her mother abruptly asked, "Where did you get those black roses? I asked you not to bring them home."

Chin explained, "Oh, I picked them up on my way back home. I like these roses."

With an air of anger, her mother left the room, and Chin returned to her deep sleep.

The next day, Chin woke up with an unexplained happiness. She quickly finished her breakfast to avoid her parents and decided to take the subway to university, though it took longer than the bus. She wanted to avoid encountering her parents and Elly, who arrived late every morning.

As she entered the crowded subway, she noticed a man sitting one seat away from her. When her eyes met his, she felt an inexplicable connection, like she had found the person she'd been searching for but the man returned back to his reading unaffected.He was a man in his mid-twenties, with an aura of sophistication.

Before we delve into the subway scene, let's talk about Taewoo, the man Chin is staring at. He's an officer of the NIS (Korea), on a special mission in London. However, he's under close observation because of the personal nature of his case. His seriousness and dedication to his mission are unmatched, but his personal life is in shambles since he's focusing solely on his assignment.

Back to the subway, Chin continued to stare at Taewoo, but he, engrossed in a book, remained aloof. He had finely honed senses, even without looking, and could tell when someone was observing him. However, he considered Chin just another person intrigued by his looks.

Chin was not typically expressive, but something was different that day. She asked the person next to her to swap seats, greeted Taewoo with a smile, and initiated a conversation. Despite his initial silence, she persisted with her questions.

Finally, in a somewhat intimidating tone, Taewoo responded, "I'm a serial killer, especially of nosy people."

Chin, unfazed, glanced around at the people nearby and then back at Taewoo. She tapped him on the back and said, "Hey, how can you say something like this in public? You might end up in jail. But tell me more about your 'occupation.' Maybe I can help. Do you need an assistant?"

Taewoo's reaction was unexpected. He shouted aggressively, "No!" and swiftly picked up his bag, moving to another cabin to continue reading. Chin's station had arrived, and as she stepped onto the platform, a woman bumped into her, leaving without an apology. However, as Chin left the train, she noticed an envelope at her feet, black but dampened with blood.

Curiosity piqued, she opened it, revealing a letter that simply stated, "Welcome to hell, Miss Park."
