Franklin and the guards were too busy with the guard who shot the crossbow to see the issue coming at them. Asukem evaded Bob and charged at the Guards, taking the guard in chains away. With swift steps and quick removals, Asukem dodged past Bob, who desperately yelled a warning to the guards. Screaming in rage, Asukem barreled down the road like an angry bull, eager to kill the man who shot his little sister, Isabella. He was ready to seek Retribution for his little sister.
Franklin looked up to see a glimmer of light reflecting off Asukem's sword and Asukem charging at him with a deadly spark gleaming in the broken boy's eyes. Franklin cursed out and quickly unsheathed his swords, ready to defend off Asukem. Once again, Asukem and Franklin's swords clashed into one another as Franklin fought off Asukem's attacks. Sparks flew, showing the ground around them as powerful strikes echoed through the horrified scene. Franklin's face was filled with fear as he struggled to hold his own against asukem's relentless and raging onslaught, his eyes widening at the sight of the Raging fury in the young man's eyes.
Everything around him rang hollow in Asukem's ears. Controlled by the rage coursing through him, Asukem barely took notice of his surroundings, his vision narrowly focused on the task at hand. As he swung his sword at Franklin, he struggled to evade the blade away. Franklin's skill was no match for Asukem's relentless rage. As the crowd cleared the area, Asukem's frenzy drove him to continue his onslaught, Striking out with wild abandon and careless disregard for anyone or anything in his path.
With a swift kick to the stomach, Franklin fell backward. Franklin lost his grip on his sword as he hung onto his stomach in pain. He crawled towards his sword, only for Asukem to swiftly kick it to the side, out of reach. Asukem slowly approved Franklin. On the other hand, Franklin desperately tried to distance himself and Asukem, His movements growing more frantic and desperate. A desperate plea ringing in the air, Franklin begged, "For the Sake of all of the Great Divines, Asukem, snap out of it."
Asukem remained unmoved by Franklin's plea, his voice a mumble as he responded, "You got in my way." he slowly moved forward, continuing, "he took my happiness, my joy, my world..." Rage filled his voice as he snapped, "He killed her! That bastard killed my baby sister! It's Unforgivable!" tears started to form in his eyes as he continued to yell, "How is that Justice?!" While Asukem focused solely on Franklin, A subtle shadow shot at Asukem, consuming his presence. The noble girl was the only one who saw the actions of the shadow, knowing what it was.
As she turned away from the scene, the young noble rolled her eyes and spun her umbrella. With a Dismissive attitude, she stated, "Fine, Have him as a host, you damn trickster, but there is something about him." she bit her fingernail and moaned in pleasure, "And I will have him for my own!"
Bob abruptly grabbed Asukem's shoulder and spun him around. His grip was solid and firm. Asukem tried to strike Bob, not knowing who it was, because of his rage, but Bob blocked his attack swiftly, socking him in the stomach and snapping him out of his anger-fueled state. Asukem hunched over in pain, grasping his midsection and almost throwing up. He looked up in confusion as he saw Franklin's paralyzed expression of fear and then glanced at Bob and his reaction, which was with disappointment and sympathy.
Asukem scanned the area, and that is when he saw her. His eyes widened as he saw Isbella's lifeless body and Clair mourning over her. Asukem took a step forward and hesitated. He held his breath in wonder as the pain rushed back to him. his heart raced, and his words snuck out in a broken whisper, "Issie..." Bob tries to warn him, But Asukem ignores him and takes off towards Isabella and Clair. His heart beat faster as he got closer to the bloody scene. However, Asukem slowed and halted at Clair and his little sister's body. He glanced in question at Clair as her face filled with tears. She looked up at him with sorrow and fear and shook her head, telling him she didn't make it.
Asukem's breathing became heavy as his legs became weak, and he fell to his knees as he uttered the words in his mouth, "No, Issie..." his arms trembled in sorrow as he gently placed Isabella's head on his lap and rocked back and forth, trying to comfort her. His eyes betray the pain he is trying to hold in as he says, "It's okay, Issie. Big brother Asu-su is here."
As tears stream from his eyes, Asukem rocks Isabella's lifeless body in his lap for her to wake up and open her eyes. His embrace is tight as he pleads with her, "Just please open your eyes. please, please."
As Clair turns away from the heartbreaking scene, Asukem lets out a piercing scream. His voice filled with grief as he looked at the sky, asking the Great Divines, "Why?!" His voice's raw, visceral emotion and his desperate look towards the heavens help convey his sorrow and loss. Clair is also overcome with sadness, as she cannot hold back her tears and suffers the same anguish as Asukem, with a tear falling from her eyes.
As Asukem held Isabella's lifeless body in his arms, the rain started to fall, covering him and everything around him in its embrace. The raindrops shielded Asukem's tears, masking his sorrow as his tears blended in with the rain. He was profoundly grieving as he quietly carried Isabella's body back to the orphanage, where she spent much of her life. Clair and Bob followed behind as they watched Asukem break down, and looks of regret formed on their faces as they couldn't protect him and Isabella.
As Asukem carried Isabella's body on his way to the orphanage, the heavens filled with a flash of lightning, and the booming sound of the thunder echoed in the air. The sudden, unexpected flash of light and loud boom startled asukem, triggering a vivid and painful memory in the broken boy's mind, reminding him how they all met Isabella.
