Asukem snapped out of his memory as Bob's loud voice interrupted his thoughts. His mind was still foggy by sorrow and anguish as he tried to remember the days of the past of his little sister. Still, the current events of his situation soon rushed back to him. he glanced at Bob. He felt unfamiliar fear welling in his chest as his mind reminded him what happened. he couldn't believe what had happened and didn't know how to cope. Bob said with an annoyed but demanding voice, "Boy, are you even listening to me!"

Asukem was suddenly pulled back into the present as the weight of Isabella's body became heavy in his arms. he glanced at Bob with tears in his eyes, a way of grief rushing through his body as he struggled to fight back the surge of pain and sorrow consumed him. With a trembling but annoyed voice, he answered, "Sorry for mourning the loss of the family, jackass!" Asukem laid Isabella's body gently on the counter and straightened himself, trying to keep calm as he asked, "What were you yelling about? The look he gave Bob was a look of coldness as he continued with annoyance, "Sense you got my attention, now."

A sudden surge of rage formed in Bob as Asukem got an attitude with him, but he calmed himself, taking a deep breath, knowing Asukem was hurting and was in grief. Bob put his hand on Asukem's shoulder, gently comforting him, something Asukem was not used to. He locked eyes with Bob, finding his gentleness a bit unsettling. Bob stated in a gentle and sympatric voice, "Asukem, I will take care of everything." tears water his eyes as he looks at Asukem as he is sorry for his loss, "I promise you, Isabella will have a proper funeral." Hope flared up within Asukem's heart as Bob's Words sank in. The memory of Isabella and her tragic fate returned to him. Still, a flicker of hope from Bob's promise of a place to lay Isabella to rest had slightly clam his hopelessness. Asukem around and headed up the stairs, wiping a tear in his eyes as he murmured, "Thank you, old man." a speck of relief washed over Asukem as he continued to go to his room with a slight grin formed on his face, turning the sorrow into a little feeling of gratitude.

Asukem was overwhelmed by the fatigue that his sorrow gave, and he planned to sleep the pain away, wanting to sleep and forget the tragedy that had happened. However, when Bob watched him climb the stairs, Clair was at the top, staring at Asukem. She saw him crying, full of tears. Asukem approached her, his emotions overcame him as he could no longer hold back his tears. He didn't realize how much Isabella met him until now. Bob couldn't help but feel guilty as he noticed Asukem's tears as he went upstairs, while Clair stood silently and watched with mounting worry.

As Asukem slowly walked past Clair, she turned away, not wanting to acknowledge him or his tears. She swiftly moved her eyes to the floor, chewing on her fingernail as her worried expression grew more intense. Desperate to escape the current tragedy, Asukem walked down the hallway. Still, his body was weighed down by grief and exhaustion from Isabella's accident. Clair swiftly turned towards Asukem, but it was already too late. She had already seen the effects of the trauma and loss Asukem was experiencing, and she could stand by helplessly as he disappeared into his room.

Asukem entered his room, slowly closing the door behind him. he was physically and emotionally exhausted and wanted to be alone to give into a sea of grief and heartache. Clair stepped forward and tried to call out his name, but she could not speak. The words were stuck in her throat, and the overwhelming feeling of worry and helplessness covered her. She stood in silence, trying to reach out to Asukem, but couldn't find the courage to do so.

Bob Locked eyes with Clair. He just shook his head in disappointment and turned away, preparing to go and arrange Isabella's Funeral. Bob picked up Isabella's body and made his way outside. Asukem lay in his room, tears soaking his pillow, his scream of pain and sorrow muffled by his pillow. However, being so loud, everyone in the orphanage could still hear them. The others looked at each other with sorrowful and sympathetic faces. It was clear that Asukem was struggling with the weight of losing Isabella.

Asukem cried to sleep, tears flowing like a river, until he exhausted himself and finally lost consciousness. In the meantime, Bob was in town, making arrangements for the funeral. Being poor, he could not afford an expensive ceremony, so he had to settle for the basics. After dropping Isabella to the morgue to keep her from rotting, Bob felt even more defeated and sorrowful as he reflected on the tragic events surrounding Isabella's death.

When Bob approached the morgue, he was fortunate enough to find a familiar face, an old friend of his. This man promised to freeze Isabella with froze magic without Bob having to pay anything. The man said, "Don't worry about the cost, Bob, next time you pay the round of ale." Bob smirks and nods in agreement. Bob left his friend to take care of Isabella's body. He went around town to different shops, such as the stone carver and the carpenter's shops, to purchase a casket and tombstone for Isabella's funeral. Despite the high cost, Bob was determined to do everything he could to keep his promise to Asukem and give Isabella a proper send-off despite his limited finances. With each step, his devotion to Asukem and Isabella became increasingly evident.

Bob informed the vendors where to deliver the supplies for the funeral, specifying that the items should be sent to the orphanage. Bob then continued to seek out Franklin, the captain of the guard, for whom he requested a spot in the cemetery For Isabella. Franklin agreed to avoid further conflict with Asukem and express sympathy for the tragedy. Franklin also informed Bob that all charges against Asukem had been dropped, as Franklin still had high respect for Asukem and felt that he treated him disrespectfully.

The sun began to set, casting a pinkish-orange hue upon the sky. Bob decided to head back to the orphanage. He was relieved to see all the funeral preparations in place. The children did an excellent job for once in his life. With a deep sense of determination, Bob quickly checked up on everything. Impressed with the results, he saw the rune enchantments that would cold air into the coffin until it broke after it was buried below the ground. Bob was ready to begin the meeting and Give Isabella the rightful farewell and peace she deserved. All he had to do now was gather everyone that lived in the orphanage.

Bob began to gather the children, and that is when he noticed Clair quietly cleaning Asukem's room. She treads lightly and silently, carefully not to disturb Asukem from his slumber. Clair knew how much Asukem was suffering and wanted to let him soak in his sorrow as she felt sympathy and didn't want to make things more complicated for him.

Bob gently knocked on Asukem's door and got Clair's attention, "I am about to start the meeting for the funeral. Can you get him up, please?" he then closed the door of Asukem's room, giving them their space. Bob then proceeded to gather the rest of the children in the orphanage and prepare everyone what he was planning for the funeral.

As Bob was occupied with getting the other orphanage children ready, Clair took an unsettling deep breath and gently sat on Asukem's bed. Trying to avoid waking him up, she softly caressed his back and gave him a moment of comfort. Clair led over. Her heart skipped a beat as Clair never thought she would be this close to him, and she had a surge of emotions.

Clair felt warm and tempted to nibble on Asukem's ear, but she caught herself and retreated. Shaking disappointed, Clair slaps herself and tells herself to stop, attempting to resist the urge. However, she leaned in towards Asukem's ear again, speaking in a soft but slightly flirtatious whisper. She whispers, "Asukem, time to wake up." with these words, she tries to shake him awake while struggling to keep her emotions in check.

Asukem slowly opened his eyes and noticed Clair sitting beside him with a sympathetic smile. He took a moment to absorb the scene before seeing that she had gently rubbed his back. He then sits up and pulls Clair into a comforting hug, tears welling up in his eyes. In a broken voice, he apologizes to Clair and admits, "I am so sorry, Clair, I couldn't protect her."

Clair's face turns red as the unexpected hug unfolds, and her heart races. She feels the sincerity and warmth of Asukem's embrace. Still, as she takes in his words, she also senses the sorrow and anguish in his voice, which causes even more tears to flow from her eyes. This moment highlights Clair's understanding of Asukem's pain while portraying her growing feelings toward him.

As the tears continued to fall from her eyes, Clair assured Asukem that everything would be all right. She gently pushed him away and held onto his arms in a show of comfort and compassion. As she looked Asukem in the eyes, Clair tried to uplift and comfort him, shouting with tears: "It's okay, Asukem. You still have me!" In a poignant gesture of support, she embraced Asukem again, and they wept together.

As the emotional embrace ended, Clair suddenly realized the implications of her words and how they might have been interpreted. Her face turned red with embarrassment, and she quickly stood up, wiping the tears from her eyes as she tried to compose herself. She told Asukem that Bob was gathering everyone and it was time to attend the meeting. The sense of awkwardness and confusion in both parts after the intimate moment was captured effectively, leading to a shift in the dynamic between the two characters.

Asukem's thoughts shifted from the painful grief he is dealing with to the strange and peculiar nature of Clair's behavior in the wake of their emotional exchange. Her sudden shift in demeanor perplexed him, but he accepted it and nodded to indicate his agreement to move on.

When Asukem challenged Clair to a race, her initial response was one of confusion, as she was trying to process the emotional exchange that had just occurred and the confusing shift in dynamics between herself and Asukem. Despite her confusion, she joined in on the fun. She responded with a playful if, somewhat cryptic statement about the loser being a "scum lord noble".

As Asukem issued the race challenge, Clair's confusing and conflicted feelings gave way to playful excitement as she happily accepted the proposition. As she took off downstairs, Asukem was pumped up and ready to compete, exclaiming: "Oh, it's like that!" With these words, he set out on a determined chase after Clair, and they ran off together.

As the challenging race commenced, Asukem and Clair ran down the hallway, eager to gain the upper hand and take the lead. As they arrived at the stairway, Clair nimbly jumped onto the railing and slid quickly down it. However, Asukem was just as agile and swiftly jumped over the railing and landed on the ground before Bob, claiming victory. His loud exclamation of "I win, Hah!" was met with the amusing scene of Clair still sliding down the railing, revealing their interaction's playful and friendly nature.

In their light-hearted and fun-filled race down the hallway, Clair protested in a playful tone when Asukem claimed victory over her. She called him an "athletic piece of work" jokingly and somewhat enviously, as she was impressed by his agility and swiftness.

As Bob watched the playful race unfold before him, he couldn't help but smile. He was pleased that Asukem and Clair had now shaken off their awkwardness and were in a more positive and playful mood. With a note of teasing and gratitude, Bob responds to Clair's lively protest: "You both are a piece of work, but I am glad you guys are in a better mood."

As everyone assembled in the meeting place of the orphanage, a sense of something missing in the atmosphere filled the air. The children intuitively understood the reason for their gathering, and Bob prepared to make the announcement in his role as a mentor and leader. With a solemnity befitting the occasion, he spoke: "I have gathered everyone here to announce that we have lost someone close to us tonight."

Bob looked over at the coffin standing before him with a sense of grief and solemnity and then continued with his announcement. With a message of caution and harmony, he said: "Let us be respectful and try not to argue or be hateful. Let's do this for our little angel, Isabella."

At the orphanage, Asukem and the other older children gathered to lift the coffin containing the remains of their beloved Isabella. As they shouldered the burden and began to carry her to her final resting place, the sky darkened, and the rain poured. As they reached the cemetery, the children found themselves in a somber atmosphere, with everyone present paying their quiet respects to Isabella's memory.
