4 days since the arrival of the Watcher. Sebastian finally mustered his courage to talk to his father, but he couldn't find him. He stumbled upon one the minister and he thanked her after she informed his father was at the bridge. 

Arriving at the bridge, he saw his father conversing with Sannekth and the captain.

His father looked at him, "Sebas? why are you here?"

"Father, may I speak to you in private?" Sebastian turned to Sannekth "Sir Sannekth... if possible, I'd like to speak with you as well."

Sannekth looked at Sebastian for a moment and said "Veryss wellss."

William looked at him confused, but he asked the captain if he could borrowed his quarters. Sannekth and Sebastian then followed William to the captain quarters.

William closed the door and asked Sebastian "What is it?"

"Father,  I'm decided.. i want to join the watcher."

William surprised. " "uh, what!?  but! why!?"

"I- i want to travel across the galaxy, ever since i watched those old movies with mother, i-" he told his father while William stayed quiet. Sebastian kept rambling about his dream.

"I see.." his father finally spoke. Sebastian was surprised to see his father had a faint smile. "Yes, your mother loved those films. She always share her dream to explore the galaxy when we were.."

"Father.. i-"

"If that's what you wished for.." William put his hand on Sebastian's shoulder. "Your mother made me promised to always let you followed your dream. You know... when you wanted join the maintenance crew, I was initially opposed it."

"Father.. thank you.." Sebastian then turned at Sannekth "Please, let me join the watcher."

Sannekth suddenly laugh, "Welcomess to the watcherss, kidss". He then looked at William "Mayss i speakss withss allss yourss subjectss once moress."

"eh?"

"Thess votess resultss. Iss noticess theress weress otherss likess yourss sonss whoss wantedss to joinss usss."

William stared at Sebastian for a moment, before telling the captain the to informed the whole ship that Sannekth wanted to talk to all of them once more. Sannekth thanked William before informing everyone that the watcher will now welcomed humans who wishes to joined regardless of the vote result.

This caused quite a stir among the crew in the bridge. The door opened and Ammaurith stormed the bridge, she immediately confronted him.

Ammaurith looked furious "Nekthss! Oor kesuss! Uess loksuss valuvalrss samsuss! guslss sess urlss!"

"Don'tss worryss" said sannekth "Highss elderss willss understandss, noss.. hess willss bess exhilaratedss."

"Oss Oorss saimss voruss! Ultuss afss!!" she shouted

Sannekth waved his hand to calmed her down and told her to lead him there. He asked William and Sebastian to accompanied him sorting some problem.

Sebastian could hear a lot of shouting from the distance. They came across a young girl and possibly his father arguing, it seemed the young girl wanted to join the watcher. And not only them, there were other who also arguing with their relatives or friends. William tried to calm them down, but they ignored him until they saw Sannekth.

Sannekth  knelled beside the girl "What'sss yourss namess kidss?"

the girl suddenly became nervous, "Eabha..." she replied

"Hess yourss fatherss?"

Eabha nodded. Sannekth stood up and then asked William to gathered everyone who opposed their relative or friend to joining the watcher.

Those who where opposed were all gathered to the largest mess hall. William told Sebastian to stay outside while he entered the mess hall. Sebastian could hear the commotion inside, there's some loud banging maybe someone punching the table or wall. 

After maybe an hour. Sannekth exited the hall with satisfied expressions. Williams told Sebastian that Sannekth successfully persuaded all of them.

About a thousands of humans has decided to join the watcher, most of them were younger than Sebastian, Enid and Alexander also joined. 

There were also elderly peoples who wanted to spend their what few of the time they had to see the galaxy. Sannekth smirked and told them they will be having lots of time, which caused the elderlies to looked at each other in confusion.

3 days later, Sannekth announced that they had finally found a perfect planet for human. He instructed everyone to prepared and brought only few clothes with them. 

Shannekth, Gersoth and Ammaurith divided humans into a groups of 100 to take turns boarding the transport craft. He also told the human who joined watcher to bid their last farewell, because they're no longer be able to met with each other.

William hugged Sebastian and wished him well. William looked at something behind him, Sebastian turned around to see Widodo and his granddaughter were approaching them. Widodo had decided to accompanied his granddaughter joining the Watcher, and he's here to wished William good luck.

They then heard Sannekth calling the first group to get ready in front of the gate. William gave Sebastian his cherished locket. Sebastian opened the locket, inside was the picture of his mother. He looked at his dad, smilling.

William tapped Sebastian's shoulder and nodded at Widodo before joining his group who were waiting in front of the gate.

The gate opened and a hunchbacked alien with head resembled a bird entered the hall along with several umistrics and garbitians. The garbitians looked different from Shannekth and his companions, aside from their brown fur, they had a horn on top of their nose.

Sannekth approached the hunchbacked alien. They talked for a while before he introduced them to William. Sebastian saw his father waved at him one last time as he entered the gate along with the hunchbacked alien, followed by the captain, Sebastian's chief, and the ministers.

Wanting to see the alien ship. Sebastian went to the bridge. There were 3 peoples there, he recognized them as the members of the bridge crew. One of them, a young man, was stood by the window looking at the humongous ship parked a bit further from theirs.

"You're Sebastian? the president's son, right?" He said when Sebastian stood beside him to see the ship.

Sebastian nodded. "Why you decided to join?" he asked

"Well.. exploring the galaxy sounded much more fun than stuck in a small planet, don't you think?" he grinned "anyway, i'm Robbieau, but just call me Rob."

The other 2, they were Santi and Travis. Like Rob, both of them had similar reason to joined the watcher.

After conversing for how long he didn't count. The door slides open, he saw Enid entered, she quickly approached him.

"I've been looking for you." she pouted her cheek "Anyway, Sannekth told us to gather at the mess hall near the cargo bay."

"Oh! okay" Sebastian then looked at the Rob and the other 2 "you're coming?"

"Nah.." Rob waved "we'll catch up later."

Sebastian nodded. He and Enid left the bridge and head to the designated mess hall. They passed the cargo bay, which was still crowded by people still waiting for their turn to board the transport craft.

When they arrived at the mess hall, there were only few people there, including Widodo, his granddaughter, and Alexander.

As the time passed, more people arrived at the mess hall, including Rob, Travis, and Santi. Finally, Sannekth and his companions entered the mess hall. He informed them that another ship would be arriving soon to picked them up and instructed them to left everything behind, brining only the most important keepsake. A child asked about the animals still alive aboard the ship like cats and dogs. Sannekth assured him that they will be taken cared of. Sebastian who already had his keepsake stayed at the mess hall, while everyone gone to their room.

After they all returned to the mess hall. Sannekth and another humanoid alien wearing a metal spacesuit told them to be ready at the gate because their ship has arrived. In front of the gate, Sebastian noticed Sannekth's new companion isn't with them. Then there's a loud thump.

"Amprss, openss the gatess" said Sannekth.

Sebastian heard a static noise and then the gate was opened. A short female umistric led a group of umistric entering the cargo bay. Sannekth spoke to her before turning to faced human.

"Humanss.. friendss, itsss timess to bidss our farewellss" informed Sannekth, "myss friendss Fendess heress willss be yourss newss guidess" he motioned at the short female umistric.

"FENDE!? La seu elani Fende?" she suddenly became furious.

"Nekthss! Quitss itss!" scolded Ammaurith.

"sorryss.. sorryss.." Sannekth grinned

"minu iun enna fende.. e! ie na firth-." said one of the umistric but stopped when the female umistric glared at him.

She turned to face human and yelled "Listen human! my name is Firthe not Fende!"

Both Sannekth and Gersoth laughed, Ammaurith gave them a disapproving looks while Firthe shot them a death glare.

"Anywayss..." Sannekth stopped laughing "Firthess heress willss bringss all ofss youss to ourss basess."

"Follow me! human!" shouted Ferdel as she entered the gate.

Before following her, Sebastian approached Sannekth and his companion to expressesed his gratitude.

"We'llss meetss againss, kidss!" Sannekth smacked Sebastian's shoulder.

Sebastian rubbing his shoulder. He then asked "Uhmm.. i was wondering... what was Fende mean?"

Sannekth and Gersoth burst out laughing again, Ammaurith sighed and told sebastian "Fendess isss an umistricss wordss forss tinyss, pleasess don'tss callss herss thatss, shess isss a bitss concernedss withss herss staturess."

Sebastian nodded and then rejoined the line. The airlock chamber gate were connected to a long corridor, and when he reached at the end, he arrived at the alien ship. 

The ship was so beautiful. The wall was made of some kind of white stone. Sebastian touched the wall, and it's wet. He was not the only one who were impressed by the alien ship. One of Firthe's companion there told human to kept moving. Sebastian followed the direction given and he finally arrived at a huge hall with a large window on the side.

"Sebas, over here!" he looked around and saw Enid standing near the window.

"Attention, humans!" Firthe announced. "We are about to depart, our destination is 2 cycles away. In the meantime, we will train your body to get used with heavier gravity, and we will teach you everything about the watcher." she clapped, and the door opened, several umistric entered the hall, pushing a slew of tables piled high with food. "For now.. eat, we've also prepared a room for each of you and some clothes."

Sebastian and Enid helped themselves with some of the food, which consisted of a variety of steamed fishes and vegetable dish. They ate while stood at the window, watching their ship getting further and further away as they sped up. Sebastian noticed another alien spaceship arrived and docked beside their ship before disappearing from view as the blue curtain-like light enveloped the window.
