The fact her education is huge enough of a concern for him to change career paths is… interesting, mainly since they have the funds to live literally anywhere. They should have no reason to be staying in Crestview, since most people get stuck here due to generations of debt. 

Speaking of money, the source of his wealth has been a mystery to many. Whenever he has been asked about the topic, he has been quick to claim stocks with many people backing the claims. Some independent investigators who haven’t dipped into Mr. Kel’s pockets have been silenced before they could get out anything more than a whisper to dispute them.

When there’s people like Mr. Kel involved, others tend to listen more closely, so it was more than enough. These whispers pointed in the direction of money laundering, and even started rumors that the majority of his wealth had been stashed somewhere in Crestview. Many now believe that was the reason he decided to move himself and his daughter in the middle of nowhere.
