In 2096 the evening sky over planet Earth parted and revealed something humanity had never seen before. A portal, a rift to another dimension, had opened and introduced an unknown threat. Many witnessed how a second moon shoved its way through the rift and found its  place next to the regular one like it had always belonged to this galaxy. The portal disappeared once the spectacle was over and with the new moon came a new lifeform.

Before scientists even had the chance to discover what was going on on that ominous dark glowing moon, the celestial body started breaking apart and revealed its core. What humanity then saw was beyond their understanding, was it a tiny planet? A star? An U.F.O.? A black hole? Whatever it was it looked alive, like a beating heart. But they had something more important to worry about. The breaking of the unknown moon caused a meteorite shower that hit earth. In those cosmic shards laid an indescribable danger. 

Soon an alien species started to spread across the Earth, devouring everyone in their sight. Humanity was invaded by an enemy it had never faced before and needed to adapt fast to defend itself...
