"I dreamt of you last night again" She said once again.
"Great..." He wasn't paying too much attention, as his word sounded very sad.
"What happened, baby?" She asked, already concerned with the unusual reaction.
"When I went to get my payment, the mistress of the house call me to come inside." He replied.
"Yes...?"
"She made me come get the money on her bedroom, and then she started screaming." He slowly said, with anger on his voice.
"Oh no, she didn't..." She already knew what could've happened.
"Yes, she made me look like I was going to hurt her. I spent two hours in the precinct answering questions and being profiled..." He confirmed the photo-op.
"Honey, that's awful! Didn't they realize that you supposedly "went to hurt her" as soon as your job was done?" She asked, indignant about the occurrence.
"She told the cops that she asked me to wait a day to pay because her mother was sick and she bought some expensive medicine..."
"And they deduced that you did that as revenge for not paying you on time... that is disgusting. Is there anything I can do for you?" She asked, hoping she could ease the awful experience her lover just had.
"Would you ever try to leave me for someone who deserves you more?" He simply asked, worried about his decline on financial issues.
"Of course not! What kind of question is that? I love you no matter where we are or how much money we have... we only need each other." She reassured with absolute firmness on her words.
"I guess..." His insecurity was still speaking louder.
"Remember what you told me in our first date and since then you've been telling me every day?"
"Yes... give me your heart and your hand and we can run..." He said. She kissed him. He fell in fear and insecurity, but she keeps dreaming.
