"I dreamt of you last night again" She said once again.
"I couldn't sleep last night, I've been busting my ass working everywhere I can." He said in a low voice, exhausted from his jobs.
"I'm so sorry, honey. But I'm sure we'll make it through. If you want me to, I can find a job as well..."
"No! Don't worry, you have to finish your studies. You're halfway through college, don't stop now." He speaks louder, emphasizing how important that was.
"Okay..." She simply answered.
"And also, I got something that might help us pay our houses."
"What is it?" She asked, with a sparkle of hope on her eyes.
"This..." He pulls a golden necklace out of his pocket, and her lover immediately becomes concerned.
"No, you didn't..." Her sparkle of hope became a dark glow of fear.
"That woman didn't pay me for all my hard work, it's only fair!"
"Of course it's not! Don't you see what the money is making you do?!" She was undignified.
"I believe it's the lack of money that made me do it." He corrected his lover, when there was nothing else he could say. He knew he was wrong.
"You know what I mean! I can't believe you stole something..."
"I had to! We're almost becoming homeless! Love won't help us survive! I will sell this for a good price and pay our house's bills." He says, as she can't believe what she is hearing, and steps away from her lover's lap.
"If you do that, I don't think I will live here anymore!" He stood speechless, she walked away. He didn't know what else to do, and this time, she couldn't keep dreaming.
