Sitting by the window, this time the two lovers were in different sides of it, apart from each other. The silence echoed the whole room, but he was ready to break it.
"Did you dream about me last night...?"
"Actually I... didn't get to sleep..." She sttutered like those words were hurting to come out of her mouth.
"Insomnia?"
"Actually I got out in the middle of the night while you were sleeping..." She still stuttered.
"Look, if this is about the thing I stole, I'm sorry, but you know I had to do something or..."
"It's not..." She interrupts him. "You were right, we need the money..."
"So, why'd you leave?" Her lover asked, starting to get worried.
"Remember the club next to the market that offered me a "job" a few weeks ago?"
"Oh, no... you didn't..." He said in disbelief.
"So, now it's wrong? Don't you think that what you did was crossing the line as well?" She starts to argue with him, redirecting her sins just like he did last night.
"Stealing is one thing, dancing in an iron pole while wearing underwear is a whole different thing!"
"You talk like I cheated on you."
"You did! You exposed your body like it was a product to other people!"
"And you didn't?! By betraying everything I believe and doing the thing I despise the most, you think you didn't cheat on me?!?!" She yelled so loud that the birds on the tree next to their house flew away.
This time, they didn't wish goodnight to each other. They didn't say another word. They didn't hug again. They didn't even get to sleep. And she didn't dream again.
