The trio interviews all the people in the list, but all of them didn't want to cooperate at all, only providing short and rude answers. Maybe they didn't like foreigners. Or maybe they were just fed up with all the things that were happening in that village. After finishing her list, Brandi decides to go get a burger in a local place. Raven finally goes to pay a visit for her "special guest", and Andrew gets a call from an unknown phone number. He decides to answer the phone
"Commander Andrew...? Is that you...?" A familiar voices says on the other side of the line.
"Father McKenzie? Did something happen?" Andrew asks.
"Not actually..." The priest answers. "I just didn't trust your colleague earlier today. She was a little bold.
"I understand and I'm sorry for that."
"Don't worry, son... Look, I just want this madness to end. One of the faithful around here said something about blaming the villagers for witchcraft, just like you mentioned... I think that's your guy."
"Oh... wow!" Andrew replies. "Thanks, father, but I can't do anything if this was said while confessing."
"It wasn't." Father McKenzie affirms. "We were hanging out and one day he started to talk about that. I guess he felt comfortable with me, but there's no excuse for his crimes..."
"I see..."
"I'll text you his name and address." The priest says.
"Thank you, Father McKenzie." Andrew replies and they hang up the phone.
After hanging up, the priest sends the commander what he promised to. Even though being tempted by going to that suspect's house, Andrew decides to call Raven to ask her opinion on that. He hated admiting, but he knew that the detective's agile way thinking was primordial in that case. Raven answers his call, but tells him not to go to where Father McKenzie told him to go. She tells him to go get Brandi and meet her in 20 minutes in the bar they initially began working in the case. Andrew doesn't understand, but decides to obey the detective once again, afraid he might lose his position in the team. He was starting to like working in those brutal cases, such as the red room, and this one, where several people were being killed in awful ways, like the man whose gun exploded in his hand, or the woman who was taking a walk at night and began to choke after someone "threw" magic on her. Andrew was liking the idea of getting rid of scumbags who try to make this world a hard place to live.
Meanwhile, Raven gets to her destination. She parks a few blocks from the house with a mailbox named "Schooler", and walks there. The lights were all off inside the house, but the living room's TV was emitting enough light for Raven to spy and see an old woman in her 70s sat on a couch, sleeping with her head leaned on the back of the couch. Raven enters the house sneakily picklocking the front door. She quietly walks toward the living room and pulls out her gun. The soft sound of the gun loading wakes up the woman.
"Where's your son, ma'am?" Raven asks, while pointing the gun to the poor old woman's head.
"I don't know what you're talking about..." The old woman answers, with a smile on her face.
"Why are you..." Raven stops to think a bit and realizes. "He's right behind me, isn't he?"
As the woman nods her head, a man appears out of the other dark room beside the living room. He lifts up his gun, pointing it to Raven's left side of the head. He doesn't leave the room, so only the arm and hand holding the gun could be seen, but Raven knew who that was.
"Raven! It's so nice to see you again!" The man says.
"Schooler... I wish I could say the same." Raven replies.
"Come on, Raven, we've had some good times."
"Shut up, man. Can we just admit a tie here and end this Mexican standoff?"
"Raven... You can't win here... I got you. I knew Henry would blab my mother's location to you, since it was the only personal thing he knew about me."
"And you think I didn't know that?"
"What...?" The man asks, curious about that assumption.
"That's right. It was obvious to assume that, but your teeny tiny brain wouldn't ever get it. I knew that you would be aware of my arrival... I just thought 'oh, why the hell not?' and took a shot..." Raven replies.
"So... You've got a plan?"
"As always... You know me."
"You're bluffing..." The man doubts her
"Try me. If I don't go to a certain location in the next 24 hours, an email will be sent from a computer that only I know where it is. That email contains information of all the things you're involved with." The detective challenges him.
"If you do that, you'll get your name dirty as well..." He calls her bluff.
"What do I have to lose if I'm dead?" Raven simply says.
The man thinks for a few seconds. He was right about hesitating since Raven didn't stutter or changed her expression during her threat. He knew that the detective meant business. He's been through situations like that, and he was aware of her reckless and crazy attitudes.
"Let's go, mom. Let's get out of here..." Schooler says and his mom does follow him, calm as snow.
"Good choice..."
Raven quickly looks for clues or anything that they could have left, but there was nothing there, the house was entirely clean. The detective heads to the front door, when she sees something shining on the floor. She bends down and grabs a single bullet. Raven keeps it in her bra, between her breasts, and then leaves the empty house. She gets in the car and drives to her destination. After arriving at the bar, she meets Brandi and Andrew and immediately tells them to get in the car. Driving thorugh the city, Andrew is curious about the plan.
"So, should we go after the man that Father McKenzie snitched on?" Andrew asks.
"Of course not. He was trying to decoy you." Raven answers "Why would he tell you that now instead of earlier? He's probably planning something in his church right now. He knew that Brandi would not buy this talk, that's why he only told that to you."
"I think you're seeing evil in everything, Venus. That priest can be a good man... He was just scared at the beginning..."
"Wanna bet?"
After driving for a few minutes, the trio arrives on the church's street. Raven parks the car a couple of blocks away from the place. They pull out their guns and head to the holy house. Sneakily and stealthily, the three colleagues get to the back door. They hear a sound of arguing coming from the basement. Brandi takes a peek at the little window from outside the basement and sees Father McKenzie verbally fighting with one of the people she interviewed but didn't say anything. She tells Raven, who picklocks the back door once again and the three break in, heading directly to the basement.
Before they enter the room, they listen to the loud conversation, where they were confessing all the crimes. The man was apparently mad at the priest because it was guaranteed that police would never catch them, but in that day, someone asked him questions. The priest was assuring the man that the trio of officers were sent to a random person's house after he lied to the commander. The face of Brandi and Andrew were stuck in the same expression: anger. They couldn't believe that they were fooled so easily. Even though they've been through that situation many times before, it's still bad to feel deceived. Raven kicks the door and breaks in.
"Freeze! Both of you!" Raven says while pointing the gun at the priest, and Brandi and Andrew point it to the other man. The two suspects put their hands up in the air. "Good job, guys." She tells her teammates. "Now, Brandi, cuff that jackass who refused to tell you anything and take them to our car. And Andrew, keep an eye on Father McKenzie while Brandi doesn't come back. I'll check inside to see if there's someone else involved. If he moves, shoot him."
"I'm not shooting a priest!" Andrew exclamates.
"Not fatally... Just shoot his arm or leg so he won't play anything on us."
As Raven goes to the door on the right, Andrew keeps pointing the gun at the priest, who smiles at the commander. Andrew doesn't understand what was going on. The father looks to the small window in the basement, like it was the last time he would see such beautiful night. He looks back to the commander as his smiley face becomes a serious one.
"It's too late..." The father says. "The 'Deathstalker' already controls almost all of America..."
"What on Earth are you talking about?" Andrew asks.
"I know you won't shoot me..." The priest says as his right hand that was lifted up in the air reaches for his crucifix.
"Stop moving!" The commander shouts as the father opens his crucifix pulling one of the tips downwards. "Stop!!"
"Goodbye, son." Father McKenzie swallows that little piece pulled from the crucifix.
Raven immediately runs back after hearing Andrew screaming. When she arrives, she says: "What the hell is going on?"
"I don't know, he swallowed something!" Andrew answers.
"I told you to fucking shoot him!! That's probably cyanide!" She replies, angrily.
And it was actually too late. Father McKenzie falls to the ground totally unconscious...

After they take the other suspect to jail and Father McKenzie is taken to the morgue, the trio gathers to talk about that weird night. Andrew mentions the "deathstalker" that the priest talked about, but neither Raven or Brandi know what that means. The detective gets a call from the president. After talking to him and hanging up the phone, Raven says that their next case is in Paris. This time, she also texts Rivers and Collins to come along.
Brandi suggests they should eat something before hitting the road once again. Andrew agrees and they both get in the car. Raven stands still, thinking about her next step to complete her mysterious goal. Andrew honks, in an attempt to call the detective's attention, and it works. Raven gets in the car as well and Andrew drives it.
