Charlie had arrived at the hospital, but he was still passed out, Nick and Tori had woken up Olly, and Nick drove them to the hospital. They met Jane and Julio there, and they ran up to Nick, Tori and Olly, with dried tears on their faces, and worried looks.

" he's in emergency surgery, he still isn't awake " said Julio trying to not cry.

" okay " said nick, clearly crying, but trying to hide it. He checked his phone, 11:05pm, Nick was meant to stay at Charlies for a sleepover that night, their first one since he got back from the mental hospital. He saw that he ad a missed call and texts from his mum, since she saw him go on the phone to Charlie then speed up his car. " sorry, I have to make a phone call " he said.

everybody replied with different variations of that's fine.

Nick walked off and phoned his mum.

" hello? Nicky? "

" mum, Charlies in hospital, please come " he said, sobbing, in-between hiccups.

" okay nicky, don't worry, he will be alright, ill be right there. "

" ok " said Nick then hung up, wiped the tears away and went back to everyone.

A while passed. Sarah had arrived and was sitting with everyone else, hugging Nick.

" spring? " said the doctor.

" yes? that's us! " said Jane

" Charlie is out of surgery, still asleep though, you can go and see him now, 3 people at a time, room 254. "

Jane gave nick an expression, as if saying ' go on ' Nick smiled back and walked over to the room.

" oh Charlie. " Nick mumbled, knowing Charlie can't hear him. He sat on a chair beside his bed, gave him a kiss on the forehead and held his hand. He just stayed there for a while, then Jane and tori came in.

" oh my baby!! " Jane ran up to Charlie and hugged him carefully.

Nick was still holding his hand, and felt a gentle squeeze.

" guys!! Charlie just squeezed my hand! he's awake!! " he said, with a cheerful smile.

Charlie opened his eyes to see nick, Jane and tori looking at him, worried expression on their face.

" what happened? " He said in a groggy voice.

" you relapsed and passed out. " said Nick and frowned. " im just glad your awake now" , he said and kissed him on the hand.

" oh " said Charlie, with a dazed expression on his face.

" I love you " said Nick.

" I love you too " said Charlie.
