The pictures were to serve as the concept photos for a new movie titled 'Nine lives'. Nine lives was actually a very popular novel written by one of the top authors in the world, so the people couldn't wait to see how the movie would turn out, especially when they heard rumours that the most handsome actor was featuring in it.

"And that's a wrap!" Said the photographer with a bright smile plastered on her face. "You really made my work much easier. Thanks to the way you effortlessly embodied your character, we were done in no time."

"You are giving me more credit than I deserve. We wouldn't have finished in time if not for your superb photographic skills." Said the actor.

Hearing such nice words come from such a famous actor to her, the respect the photographer had for him skyrocketed to another level and she couldn't help but blush a little. "Thank you so much, I'm flattered. Do enjoy the rest of your day." She said before leaving to process the photos she had taken.

A young man holding a bottle of water and a napkin immediately ran to the actor when he saw that they were done with the photoshoot. "Wow! I don't think I can ever get tired of watching you. Luca, my friend, you are a real definition of talent." He praised him while offering him the water.

Yeah, you read that right! The supposedly famous and very handsome actor was Luca. Our once cute and sweet little boy had become a man.

It had been eighteen years since the accident, and he had grown up to be a very successful and handsome young man. He was a very popular actor, known across the globe. He was indeed talented in acting, but his looks was also one of the main factors that made him very famous, especially amongst the women.

With all these, one would think he was happy and fulfilled as a person, but he was not. He was good at acting, but that wasn't what he dreamt of doing with his life.

He had always dreamt of becoming an oceanographic scientist. He wanted to be able to explore the deep of the waters and learn about the way of life of the sea creatures, and then he would share his experiences and findings with the world, but those dreams died a long time ago.

Ever since the accident at the Atlantis ocean, he had been suffering from aqua phobia- the fear of water. Taking his bath every morning was torturous as it always reminded him of the accident. It reminded him of how he felt so helpless while he was drowning that day.

He also couldn't hold his breath for long, as it was also a reminder of how he had tried holding his breath in the ocean, but had failed to do so. It also reminded him of how he was choked by the amount of water that entered his mouth and nostrils, and had blocked his airways.

At that time, he had struggled for his dear life, but nature took it's cause as he soon began to lose his strength and drifted slowly into unconsciousness, but not before seeing a fantasised version of himself.

Back to the present.

Luca took the bottle of water from his friend and took a sip of the water. "Thanks, Ray. I would have asked you to keep the complements coming, but we need to go see someone special." There was a beautiful glint in his eyes at the mention of that special someone.

The young man whose name was Raymond, scrunched his face when he saw that look in Luca's eyes. "It her again, isn't it?"

Luca playfully glared at Ray, and said, "She has a name and it's Rose, okay?"

Ray rolled his eyes and replied, "Yeah, yeah, yeah. Whatever."

In the airport of City Z, an airplane had just recently landed, and its passengers were already making their way to the welcoming unit. Some of the passengers had people that were already at the waiting area, ready to receive them.

Amongst the passengers was a young lady. She had just arrived at Y city, but the look on her face showed disinterest as if she was done with the city.

It was only when she saw a black haired young man that had a mask on his face, followed by a brown haired guy approaching where she was that a small smile appeared on her face.

She decided to pretend to not have seen him, until he was just a few inches away from her. "Too close." She said with an hint of playfulness.

Luca pulled down his mask and pouted. "We haven't seen each other in six months and that's the first thing you say to me? The Rose I used to know was less cruel to me."

Ray snickered behind Luca and said, "Told you we shouldn't have come." He made it intentionally audible enough for Rose to hear, and that earned him a playful elbow punch in the stomach from Luca.

"Don't pay attention to him." Said Luca to Rose.

"It's hard not to. Especially when you keep bringing him along to see me. I'm starting to suspect you intentionally do so to torture me." 

Luca ignored what she had said and instead smiled brightly as he looked at her from her head to her heels. She was wearing a yellow flay dress, which went well with her shoulder length golden blonde hair. Her dark blue eyes looked even more bright and soulful than the last time he had seen her. "Still as ravishing as ever, I must say." He complemented her looks and before she could reply, he had reached into his coat and brought out a rose and gave it to her.

"I haven't given up yet. I'm still your number one pursuer." He made sure he put on a killer smirk on his face that most of his female fans would die to see while he said this, but unfortunately, Rose wasn't one of the millions of people that would melt into a puddle just because of his smile.

Rose sighed and then said, "Are we really still on this issue? I already gave you my response. I don't see anything happening between the both of us, except if you are a vampire, a werewolf, a merman or any fantasy creature whatsoever." Having said that, she pushed her luggages towards him, wore her sunglasses and went ahead. "Kindly help me with those, please."

Luca's smile didn't falter a bit even after being rejected once again. 

They were best of friends back at primary school. Well, she was actually his only friend at that time. That was until he met Raymond in high school.

He had decided that he had feelings for her when it dawned on him that she was the only special female friend he had. She was also a hardworking and determined young lady who had wrote her first book at the age of 12. That's right, Rose was an author. She was known for writing romantic fantasy stories. In addition, she was very beautiful. She could really give the very popular and beautiful actresses a run for their money. 

He had met so many women in the acting industry, but he never really got close with any of them. He kept his relationship with them professional, even when some of them tried to throw themselves at him.

Luca kept that smile on his face as he helped her with the luggage, then he whispered to Raymond. "I'm still not giving up."

Raymond worriedly placed the back of his hand on Luca's forehead. "You've got to he kidding me, man! You seem to be alright, but at the same time you are not. You heard her, didn't you? You ain't got a chance, so chase after someone else. Someone who is normal and not a crazy fanatic who dreams of falling in love with some nonexistent freak of nature."

Luca's face turned serious as though he was thinking about what Raymond said, then he smiled and said again, "I'm still not giving up."

Raymond felt so pissed that he even had to fight the urge to pull out his own hair from frustration. "Why do I even bother trying?"

The surface of the Atlantic ocean was peaceful and calm as usual, with the waves moving beautifully without being disrupted. That was until...

"Woo-hoo!" A merman shouted as he emerged from the waters in a high jump and dived back in. A big dolphin followed suit a second later, and they both laughed at their performances.

The merman later fully got out of the water and climbed on a rock. His wet shoulder length blue hair was sticking to the sides of his face. Some droplets of water were on his thick and long blue lashes, while some ran down his flawless naked upper body.

He was looking up at the sky as the sun kissed his skin. His silver eyes sparkled under the rays of the sun and his majestic royal blue tail was swaying with the wind.

"Axle, have I ever told you that you are the most beautiful creature I've ever seen?" The dolphin suddenly popped up a question which was more like a complement.

Axle chuckled at Fiona's flattering words, and replied, "Only 210 times."

"Then I've not said it enough." Fiona flattered him even more.

"I'm indeed the most beautiful creature you could ever find in the sea." Axle spoke with affirmation as he looked at his reflection in the water.

While Axle and his bestie were having their chitchat, a certain sea creature was sneakily moving towards them like a predator ready to pounce on it's prey. The creature soon got behind the rock where Axle was resting, and...
