It was the next morning and just like every day with a free period in the morning, it started off with the alarm going off way too early. The phone vibrated and sang its little annoying tune to alert and wake up the two sleeping in the room. Tyler groggily lifted his head and slapped his phone to turn it off but to no avail did it stop. He aggressively grabbed his cell and looked at the screen to see it wasn't his phone but was in fact, Wilkins's. He groaned and turned to Wilkins from the edge of his bed. "Wilkins... Will...", He said in a rather hushed still waking-up tone. "Hey, Will. Wake the fuck up." He said rather more annoyingly now, yet Wilkins still was sound asleep clutching his pillow. Tyler sighed, grabbed one of his pillows, and threw it full force at Wilkins' face. The impact was audible and sounded heavy. But perhaps it was heavy as it was a weighted pillow. Wilkins jolted up and looked around stunned and confused. Tyler gestured to him that his phone was going off. "Dude, how the hell do you sleep through that?" "I have zero idea, good lord." He grabbed his phone and silenced the alarm. Wilkins sighed and laid back down with a stretch. "Alrighty then, mornin' there. You got quite the arm on ya! That actually hurt a bit." "Sorry, I didn't expect to have that much might this early in the morning," Tyler said in an apologetic tone. Wilkins shrugged and took off his blanket. "I'm going to go get ready, you can take the bathroom after me." Tyler nodded understandingly and stretched once more, watching the now shirtless Wilkins walk into the bathroom with one shuffle after another.

Today was the day, not for an ending to this debacle, but perhaps a movement in the right direction. Getting to go into Becca's room could prove useful, for all he knew this could be some sick elaborate prank and Becca could still be alive. But it wouldn't make sense especially with so many people knowing about it. He doom scrolled for a while on his phone till Wilkins walked out of the room in just a towel, steam rolling out of the bathroom and off of him. "Dude, how HOT did you have that water? You look like one of those spa stone things." "Listen, I like my showers like I like my roommates, hot. Now get ready we haven't got much time till people arrive." Tyler rolled his eyes with a chuckle at the obvious joking statement from Wilkins and proceeded into the bathroom. Come to think of it, the last shower he had was a couple of days ago, so needless to say he felt pretty gross. As he stripped and went into the running shower, the hot water hit him and made him feel much less tense. Tyler washed himself thoroughly and winced as he began to put shampoo on his hair. He felt a small bump on the rear of his head, probably from when he fell yesterday. It wasn't a massive bump yet still very sore, but the water helped numb the pain momentarily. He got out of the shower once he was done washing away the filth and stress of the previous day and got himself dressed in the bathroom. He tightened up his tan jeans with a belt and put a t-shirt on with the silhouette of a wolf that read 'RUST'. As he left the bathroom he entered a now empty room, with not a single Wilkins in sight. He quickly placed his Converse on and tied them with double knots before racing out of the room into the hallway where Wilkins was having a stare-down with Eden.

"So Eden, have you found any spooky scary skeletons yet?" "No, but I'll be sure to ask them where your balls went." The tense air between the two of them was so dense you could cut it with a knife. "Look, how about we don't do this right now, because we need all the help we can get right now." "Yeah you could use some help, it looks like a small blue pi- Oh, hey there." Eden stopped mid-insult, giving a small wave to the stunned open-mouthed Tyler. "Uh yeah, good morning to ya. Did I enter at the wrong moment or-" "Nah, these two were just banging each other with their eyes." Skye said waving his hand. The two bickering faces drastically dropped from anger to pure embarrassment. Wilkins's face was flushed red like an apple. "Yeah well, I don't have interest in crazy chicks. Let's just get a move on." His eyes darted to the floor as he strolled around Eden, unlocking the door. Tyler realized that her memorial had already been dismantled. Wilkins paused in his tracks as he turned the handle, taking a deep breath before opening the door. Dust particles floated out from the room and there as Tyler looked, it was almost as if the room had been paused. Everything was preserved to the time before Becca had passed, and it was obvious that it had Wilkins's heartbeat escalated. "Alright, just box everything up carefully. She has some tubs in the closet that you can pack things in. Her family wants all of her personal belongings back." Wilkins said as he turned to the rest of the group. Wren was looking around at the walls, littered with posters and photos from various instant cameras. "So she was a photographer? Really loved instant stuff huh?" She said as she ran her finger along the edge of a photo of Becca and Wilkins in front of a fountain.

Wilkins exhaled a bit with a smile as he took the photo off the wall. "Her parents never really liked me. Said I was a bad influence on her. She fought for me against her parents all the time when they came to visit that year." He then put the photo down on the entry table, pulling more off the wall.  Skye then approached Wilkins looking at the photo. "Sounds like she really liked you. What do you want us to do with the photos?" "Just make a pile of the photos here but be gentle, they were her favorite things." Skye nodded as he gestured to Tyler to come help him. Tyler followed Skye over towards Becca's bed. It was what you'd expect from a girl like her. Pastel colors and beige, decorative pillows with clothes set out over top. There laid a floral lace navy dress with a cream cardigan next to it. Wilkins, now out of earshot, began to empty Becca's drawers and neatly put things away in a tub. Skye then looked at Tyler, "So you said you think you can find some evidence here? Like what? This is all just a dead girl's possessions." "Yeah, but Wilkins said that it was weird. No news coverage, she just died via an accident?" "Well, what do you think? It was some sick elaborate prank? You can't be that dense." Boom. How the hell did he read Tyler's thoughts? "Well, that was one thought but what if she was... you know... murdered?" Skye's face made a surprised expression, almost as if it was something he didn't think of. "Well, why her? What was the motive?" "I don't know but we haven't got much time. The room has been locked since so look around for signs of entry or abnormal things." "Abnormal... things... Dude you literally can't accept you saw a ghost." "Look, just help me and Wilkins at the same time, or don't." Skye paused as his eyes gazed through Tyler with a concentrated look, ending it with a sigh. "Fine, but I won't say anything till we're outta here. I'm not going to give Wilkins a heart attack on your account for knowledge." Tyler nodded and began to look around in the closet. He pulled the empty tubs out and carefully placed them around the room, open for the items to go in. It was weird, the feeling of knowing the memories some of these items held made Tyler feel almost empathetic for someone he never knew.

The group started to take things such as clothes, decorations, and books and started to place them into the tubs. A few hours had passed making it roughly at the three-hour mark, then Wren broke the silence. "So, after this do ya'll wanna get some pizza? I know a place it's just-" "You guys go ahead." Wilkins said, cutting the bold girl off. Eden exhaled as she put a doll into one of the tubs and stared at Wilkins with her hands on her hips. "Look, you're not gonna be any more help if you pass out from exhaustion dumb-ass." "I don't want to hear it, especially from you." "Look, I'm risking my ass to be here, I don't think-" "Exactly, you don't. Just leave me alone alright? You guys have done enough work today. I'll handle the rest." Tyler started to feel a bit anxious from the arguing between the two. He paused and exhaled for a moment, and put his hand on Eden's shoulder to signal her to give it a rest. "Alright bud, just let me finish taking these photos over the bed down then we can go." "Sure, just again... careful." Tyler nodded as he looked at the now bare bed that was just a mattress on a plain white frame. He took his shoes off and hoisted himself on top of the bed, standing on the mattress to take the photos down. The photos varied from scenery to groups of people, to random things obviously captured in the wild. One after another, he meticulously pulled them down so as to not rip or ruin the rear of the photos until his hand stopped on one. It felt... heavy. He pulled the photo down, it was a Polaroid with a picture of an old rickety house. But that was not what made it feel heavy, he turned around to see Wilkins walk into the bathroom and close the door. This was his chance. He flipped the photo to see a key. A safebox key to be specific, or in other words... a clue.
