As he watches Jasper burst out the door, a bunch of thoughts rush into his head.
(Why did I shatter her? Did it feel good? Did I get anything from it?)
(How did I shatter her? Am I really that powerful? Do I need to be contained?)
But the most dominant ones were the most worrying.
(Why didn't my form go back to normal? It should have!)
(Diamond? Jasper called me her Diamond, she was so accepting of the fact I shattered her too?)
(Shatter… SHATTER!?!? I shattered her!)
Steven didn't even have time to process that one as he was running home.
(My mom never even shattered…. It's almost like… like I'm more of a diamond than her…..)
(Wait, diamond…. No….. nono…. Nononono…. No, this can't be happening, I…. I shattered Jasper, she called me her diamond, I had to tell her myself to not do the diamond salute…. I'm…. I'm a...)
(No, wait, I can't be… right?)
Steven runs towards the mirror, being horrified at his reflection.
(M-my pupils… they're…. Diamond shaped….)
Steven, seeing that there's most likely no way out of this, accepted it.
He started glowing a brighter shade of pink as his form slightly changed, gaining an extra foot, just about touching the ceiling with his head, and his hair reflecting pink diamonds more, then he returned to his normal pinkish glow.
As he sat on the side of the tub, he heard Jasper knocking and saying,
"Steven, the gems want you out here."
"One second!"
Steven replies worriedly.
(Alright, you can do this, just pretend you don't know how to go back to normal.)
Trash rewrite of the series, hope you enjoy, i can keep up with stuff so it may be anywhere between a few day and a few months before next chapters, i will try to keep it up though.
