All that filled his vision now were sharp teeth and a large, filthy tongue. Both glistened in saliva. The split ends of its slimy pink muscle flickered right in front of his eyes, nearly touching his cheek. This thing probably liked playing with its prey, which would explain why that man was still conscious in those chains.
Blaine reeled his head back, hand grasping the sword's handle tighter.
Since he had no idea how to hurt it, he just stared back.
But… what he saw there was the only thing that looked even remotely sensitive. Those goddamn red eyes. They had done nothing but pester him the whole evening, and were present on every single living organism in this place.
It was his only chance.
Luckily, the creature was so pleased by its new capture, that it got closer to peer at him.
Gritting his teeth, Blaine raised the sword higher. They made eye contact for a moment, which was an almost hypnotic experience. But he managed to keep himself composed, as he jabbed the tip of his new weapon deep inside that bleeding red orb.
A growling hiss came from it, and suddenly, his bounds didn't feel so tight anymore. From the way it trembled, the noise would probably have been a lot louder had vocal cords been included in the snake’s birth.
With the sword still in hand, Blaine staggered backward, trying to keep his balance now that he was finally touching the ground again.
It was almost uncanny to see such a large being receding back like that. There was no need to keep watching it twitch over its leaking eye though, since someone else still occupied the throne room.
The man twisted in his chained handcuffs, realizing there might finally be a chance to get out of them.
Blaine hurried over to him and slashed the link that connected the cuffs to the wall. He didn't have time to finesse it and cut everything off, so the metal had to stay around the stranger’s wrists.
"I… Thank you."
"I'm guessing that thing is only stunned?"
"Yeah, we should get out of here."
"It’s dark everywhere else though. Do you know how to find the entrance?"
"I've been here long enough to know. And there's still a little bit of sun left."
"Great."
Even though their bodies were weak and their movements sloppy, they rushed out of the room together,
Led by the man, Blaine followed close behind through the darkness of the castle halls.
The sounds of a sleek tail sliding over rocky textures came from not so far behind them. It was already in pursuit again.
They soon made it out to the familiar foyer that was still lightly doused by a deep orange glow. It didn't take long for them to get to the doors that still stood ajar.
After the other man slipped through what was still a small opening, Blaine got out as well.
"It can't squeeze through that, can it?"
The instant Blaine spoke up, a loud thud came from behind the walls they had just escaped from. Then came a rough slam against the door. The hinges creaked, making the two glance at each other.
"No, but… well, you heard that."
"Yeah, into the forest we go."
And so, far away from the castle they went.

Once they found a secluded part of the woods that was covered in shrubbery, they got down. All they had the time to think of in their rushed escape attempt was to hide there.
Blaine’s heartbeat spiked when a loud crash came from further away, followed by sounds of crumbling debris. It was out.
It was surprisingly fast outside the castle, making swift scuttling noises that were headed in their direction. There were no walls to contain it after all.
It sounded directionless. Searching.
All the two men could do was stay on the ground, as they shared distressed looks.
A hiss. Only a few trees away from the sounds of it. The ground around them moved as if a loud bass had just spread throughout the area.
Looking through the leaves of the bushes around them, all Blaine could see in the darkness were crimson trails running down the snake's cheek. The sight paralyzed him.
Not just because it was almost right next to them, but also because of the unexpected emotions it brought.
What are you?
It didn't stay for long, still in a heated pursuit for them. Wherever they could be. And soon enough, all Blaine saw was dark green once again. The sounds receded into the distance.
"Is it gone?"
"Shh."
A hand suddenly came up in front of Blaine’s face, covering his mouth. Okay… that was an understandable reaction. They can’t be too safe.
But why did that action stir him up a bit?
As a comfortable silence fell over them, the man let go.
"Sorry. You bothered to save me and here I am, disrespecting you like this."
"Oh… that's okay."
More than okay.
"Thank you again. The name's Sebastian, if I remember correctly. It’s been a while since anyone’s said it. Or… spoken to me at all. But, uh… I don't know if it was worth it to save me. I mean, look at my body. This… curse, or whatever. It's so unbearably painful."
They both moved over to the nearest tree and sat down next to it, leaning against the cold bark.
Now that Blaine finally had a moment of peace and quiet, he could properly look the stranger over.
The only thing he associated those horns and wings with was demons. At least, according to how they were usually portrayed.
"Are you saying… it's killing you?"
"That's what it feels like. It gets worse every day."
When their shoulders met, a defeated sigh left Sebastian’s lips.
Blaine felt a strong urge to hug the poor man, but the strange tension between them was getting in the way.
"I didn't even get to celebrate getting out. Or anything like that." Sebastian’s gaze kept landing on the lower half of Blaine's face.
"Well, hey, there aren’t many ways to do that these times anyway."
"Yeah… that's true."
Their eye contact lingered for a long while. In fact, they weren’t breaking it.
"Wait… do you…?"
Sebastian reached up behind Blaine's head, gripping his hair tightly. And before long, his face was pressed against the other man’s neck.
"Yes.”
Blaine ran a hand up his chest, feeling the ragged fabric underneath his fingers. Sebastian arched his body, wanting to feel more of him. When the other man’s lips reached his neck, his breathing sped up. His reactions were so pure and needy for Blaine’s touch. Those sighs were also much louder than normal in response to such soft strokes. It was clear he hadn’t done anything like this in a very long time. But to be fair, neither had Blaine. As he snuck a few fingers into one of the holes of the roughed-up shirt, Sebastian shuddered.
“C- Cold.”
Blaine quickly pressed his whole palm against his chest, hoping to counteract his otherwise cold fingertips.
“Sorry, sorry.”
“Ah, no… please continue…”
With a soft smile, Blaine lightly trailed his lips down Sebastian’s neck to his collarbone.
The shivering was getting a little more obvious. Actually, really obvious.
“Ugh…!” And the sounds uttered by Sebastian couldn’t be counted as sighs anymore. More like… pained groans. Something was off.
Blaine pulled back, as he saw the man in front of him claw at his own head. Right where the horns were. They were growing under his hands, sleek and long like two snakes. It wasn't just that, the wings grew as well, and what was once the white of his eyes dipped into a void-like black.
Following that, Sebastian’s whole body was increasing in size—several feet above him. Scales slowly formed in his skin.
You couldn’t exactly call him a snake. He looked more like a scaled demon of some kind. The groans subsided surprisingly fast and were replaced with grunts of confusion.
"I'm… not dead?"
His voice had an ethereal echo to it, which he looked taken aback by as well.
"Oh…" Blaine didn't quite know what to say about the sudden changes, so he kept quiet. If anything, he was a little ashamed by the thoughts that initially entered his mind.
"It doesn’t hurt anymore. But… I really feel like destroying everything around me. That's bad, right?"
"Uhm… uh… yeah, that doesn't sound good."
Sebastian’s brows drew together. He was catching on.
"You know, there's this other thought that's just as oppressive right now. I was thinking… maybe satiating that one might help deal with my need for destruction."
"That's great. What is it?"
"You. Let me channel the violent thoughts… into you.”
“Ah.”
Blaine's breath hitched. Was he reading his mind or something?
Sebastian moved his head down to see him more clearly, which made Blaine shiver.
"If you're alright with it, that is."
"Yes, please."
When Blaine’s response came with such a desperate tone, Sebastian had to take a deep breath to avoid throwing himself at him right then.
But there was only so much restraint a demon could realistically have.
Grabbing Blaine’s shoulder, he pushed him down onto the grass beneath them. This was certainly a change from earlier.
However, Blaine didn’t mind this position at all.
"Neither of us has anything to make this go easier, huh?" Blaine chuckled. There was a faint nervousness in his voice.
Sebastian glanced around the forest floor, fully knowing there was nothing to be found.
“No, sorry. …This might hurt."
Blaine watched as Sebastian slathered two of his fingers in saliva with his... split tongue. That was new.
Since Blaine’s eyes still lingered on his tongue even after Sebastian was done with his little maneuver, he didn't notice where those fingers were before they suddenly pressed into him. His eyes widened, as he sucked in a deep breath. He was somehow too distracted to even notice that Sebastian had already pulled his pants off.
"Oh- yeah… that- ugh…"
Blaine messed up the grass that supported him, as he felt the culm brush against his cheek.
Sebastian curved his fingers inside him, making his body visibly quiver. There was no denying the pain that followed every movement. Saliva wasn't exactly helpful enough in this scenario. But Blaine, with just a tinge of shame, enjoyed the feeling a lot.
His grunting turned into long needy sighs when Sebastian—with his large and scaled hand—reached in further; right where Blaine wanted his touch the most.
He gasped, grinding his lower body desperately against Sebastian.
This new form…
Blaine would probably be satisfied if this was all they did. He could only imagine how his cock felt when this was so damn good already.
"You’re really into it, huh?"
When did he get this cocky?
"I- I…"
When Sebastian pulled his fingers out again, he heard a soft whine from the man below him.
"Want it?"
As a confident smile spread across his face, he yanked his own pants down. Seeing what had previously been concealed from Blaine made his brows draw together.
It was also scaled, and …
"Please…”
With a chuckle, Sebastian pressed the head of his cock against the other man.
"Let me distract you from the pain."
He wrapped his hand around Blaine, his cock covered comfortably in its size.
The instant surge of pleasure helped mask how much pressure he felt from the large foreign member breaching his body.
Blaine’s legs twitched, as every part of his insides was filled. He instinctively held his breath because of the sensation, before letting it out like a needy whimper.
It took no effort on Sebastian's part to reach as deep inside as possible. Despite some tightness around him.
The intense rapture that hit Blaine all at once nearly made him tear up the grass, as his body arched, and his eyes closed tightly.
Once again, those scales proved to be quite effective at making him moan.
As Sebastian pulled back to ready himself for another thrust, Blaine weakly opened his eyes.
He saw the wings of the man above him whip the air, right as he buried himself inside Blaine again.
It was as if the world completely fell away around him. All his senses were dull to anything but the man on top of him. The... demon.
If only time would finally come to a halt. For just a moment. A night.

The moon stood high above them, bathing their sweat-ridden bodies in its glaring light.
"So... that actually worked. I feel much better." The hand on Sebastian’s chest weakly moved up.
"Mmh. That's good..."
Blaine could think of nothing but how close he was to dozing off. He was the one in pain now.
"I wonder if it'll be back though."
"Probably... but if this is what it takes to deal with it, then... I think we'll be fine" Blaine's laugh was meek but filled with satisfaction.
"As long as your body can handle it. I don't want to break you."
"I couldn't think of a better way to leave this horrible world."
Sebastian chuckled, that subtle echo making it all the more beautiful.
"Hey now, I just found out I'm going to live. Don't you dare leave me alone."
"Ah, no need to worry. I won’t. With your new form, I think we might actually have a chance of getting somewhere. Together."
A meaningful gaze, one filled with unspoken desires and expectations for the future.
And though it looked bleak, maybe all wasn't over for those two.
"Yeah… Let's go make something happen. Earth can't stay stale forever."
They both smiled. But was it without ulterior motives and completely devoid of impure yearnings?
Of course not.
