To fill up the time before the next chapter, I'm bringing up some of my No One's Tower art together in one place. (Plus bonus commentary, notes and easter eggs). The max is only 5 images so this comp will be a bit short.

 -> No One's Tower was started at first as a realm meant for Mortigus, who was one of my first OCs. I treasured Mortigus greatly, so I put as much effort as possible into his universe. I decided to compile all the lore and try my hand at writing a more cohesive story, and while I know it may not be particularly successful nor of astounding quality, I feel better that I've started writing. I value the experience and chance to express myself beyond just trad. and digital art. Anyhow, I love drawing brick towers and they keep me motivated to continue working on this series. 

  This one is a piece for Chapter 3, and the lack of detail is in part because the thumbnail art is a bit too small for complex stuff, especially black&white, as I've seen that the art must be better defined and more streamlined for thumbnails. Not that this one works particularly amazing but I still like it. 

 I added it as part of the mention of Hunters and those deemed non-human monsters, Mycolians, Cyclops and the other races that got stuck in the human side of the Wish Wall. 

 A bit nostalgic, this old Ref sheet of Mortigus, I even colored it, that's quite rare! Originally I played with the idea that the mushroom on top of his hat would change color based on his emotions (adds an element of expression, compensating for his lack of a pupil and mouth), tho I feel this color change would be more usubtle in reality. 

 

This one I do love and was pretty proud of making, it was a rather long rendering time and if I wanted I could have sunk even more time. Anyway, Mortigus and Arbero had a bit of an intense first meeting, can relate.
