A luxury mansion, in the outskirts of Nagasaki. People laughed, ate, sang songs, and danced merrily. It was Shizuko, the landlord’s daughter’s 18th birthday. Her father was a well-known businessman all over Japan. So many guests had arrived to celebrate his daughter’s 18th birthday. Shizuko dressed in her best gown was enjoying the best time of her life.
The sound from the party was a bit loud that day, it reached all corners of the huge mansion. In a far corner was an isolated room. In a messed-up room, upon a messed-up bed, was a messed-up girl. Her dress torn. Her legs apart. Her eyes blank. What she last remembered were the cold hands of the person that furiously chalked her. And the word that person kept uttering.
"Die Die Die Die"
Rukia who also had her 18th birthday, that very day, on her half-sister’s birthday, died.
Or more accurately, murdered.
Is what she thought had happened.
Some say that your current life is just but a single chapter of a never-ending book. Death is what shifts you to a new chapter, or perhaps a brand-new book...

Rukia walked along a path that led through a field of mirrors. What was this place?
Suddenly she reached a door. An old white door which gave out an eerie aura from it. She tried to open the door but herself wouldn't let her. Her muscles locked.
"R U K I A"
Someone called from behind her. When she looked back there stood a cloaked figure. Their face hidden.
"RUKIA, DONT OPEN THE DOOR"
Saying the figure moved closer to her. Out of fright, Rukia took a step backwards. But she felt no ground beneath her foot. Which made her trip and fall down and down and down into to the abyss of darkness.

"Ahhhghh"
Anna woke up from her nightmare with a sudden gasp, breathing heavily. The person who was sitting beside her quickly held her hand calming her down.
"Anna are you alright!?"
Saying she offered Anna a glass of water.
"Here drink this."
After gulping down the contents of the whole glass in just one gulp. She let out a loud sigh.
"Anna, you scared me”.
Anna looked besides her to find a silver haired girl sitting beside her holding her hand. Gwendulin, her best friend.
"Ah Gwen, sorry for making you worry. I'm fine now. It was just the same old nightmare. Ah ha ha", saying Anna gave out a small pathetic laugh.
But that didn’t convince Gwen. She gave Anna a look as if fed up with a long-lasting lie.
“Don’t li-”, Gwen stopped what she was about to say noticing a man who approached them “okay okay whatever you say, princess.”
“Hey, don’t call me that!”, Anna snapped back at a smirking Gwen.
“I am sorry to interrupt your highness, princess Anastasia”, said the person that approached, bowing down respectfully. He wore a red officer’s uniform with a silver badge on his chest, which made him a knight of the first brigade.
Anna who was sitting, her legs crossed, gave the poor officer a frown, that sent sweat down his spine.
“hih!”
In short Anna didn’t like her to be addressed with added respect or as Princess.
They were in a place similar to the lobby of a large luxury train. But this was no train.
“Anna stop scaring the poor knight. It has been 15 years now and you still fail to realize that even if you want to be addressed casually, not everyone can and would dare to.”, Gwen said.
“Tch, whatever…”
“Yes, what is it?”, Anna asked the knight.
“Ah oh yes. Ahem. We have arrived at our destination.”
Hearing that Anna looked out of her window. They were in an air ship. The view wasn’t clear enough from there. She then rushed past the knight, in a most un-ladylike way. Gwen followed her in pursuit. “Hey hold on!”. At the end of the hallway, she entered another lobby area from which she took a flight of stairs down. Then reached the ships observation deck. Soon Gwen reached her.
Anna’s eyes sparkled as they feasted on the sight bellow them. A large lake and in the middle of it was an island. On one corner was a large castle along with a complex of buildings. The Imperial Academy. “I’m finally here.”
Thus begins Annastasia’s story.
But our story starts 15 years to the past.
When the old book called Rukia Suzuki was closed and a brand-new book called
Annastasia Lucigarden, the albino elf princess, was born. The cliched story of
a girl that transmigrated to another world filled of magic and mysteries shall
be unfolded from here onwards.
