Sparta laid on the bleak ground for a moment before getting up “wow thanks for the wake up call.” they hissed. “Anyways whatcha lookin’ at?” Sparta turned and faced towards the gigantic building and blinked a couple of times in disbelief. “Who the fuck thought this was a good idea.”
Sparta completely ignored ███████████████████████████
Once the door opened, inside the main room there were huge fountains with statues on each side of the room. The faces of the statues were blurred and pixelated, with water pouring out of what could be the eyes and mouths of the glossy figures. Long blue curtains covered the windows and twisting staircases in the middle that lead to nowhere. The floor seemed to be completely covered in a thin blanket of water, which Sparta has tested that it's actually real and nearly hissed at it. Everything else is too unrecognizable.
“Wow this place looks like an absolute wreck! I mean, look, this painting is unfinished.” Sparta exclaimed, referring to a crude, oil painting of a turtle.

“Well, we're in here for no reason at all besides curiosity and adventure!” Sparta advertised. “Also I’m a cat so I have no idea what the hell you mean by █████████
” Sparta nervously chuckled.
The doors closed behind them and Sparta jumped at the sudden noise and glanced behind them before looking at the top of the stairs.
A gentle laugh was heard from above.
A tall, young woman slowly walked down the middle pillar of stairs. “Ah hello, been a while since I saw a new face here. I heard your uh...pet slamming itself against the window.”
The woman had long, golden, curly hair that reached the middle of her back with fair skin and a pale blue eye with the other eye was covered by a upside-down, black, triangle for an eyepatch. The lady also had pointed ears and was wearing long black boots, a miniskirt, and a long sleeved shirt that exposed her shoulders.

“My name's Enkodo, sadly I cannot say my true name. “ She sighed. “Clearly that disgusting stray didn't teach you the rules of this silly place.”
█████████
Enkodo softly smiled. Sparta instead glared at her, as if she did a horrible sin and was not supposed to be here.

Enkodo’s smile dropped “Show me your cards.” She demanded a small flick of her wrist and 7 cards appeared. Each with a symbol in them and static occupying the rest of the card. The card in the middle that showed was glowing blue, as if signaling that it's here.
“I’m fairly new to the game but I already have some cards.” Enkodo smirked. “Lilac and I travel fast so we get along.”
Sparta visibly flinched at the new name mentioned before taking a deep breath before flicking their tail to the right. 19 cards appeared above them, with a glowing red card right above Sparta's head showing a █████████
Enkodo gasped, amazed about how a mangy stray could manage to collect that many “Geez, I'm impressed that a rat could kill that many.” She whispered under her breath.
“Anyways, ahem, fine you breathing hairball you at least earn for me to know your name.” before I get slaughtered in half she thought.
Sparta gleamed, but still showed signs of uncomfort. “Well my name's Sparta, not really nice to meet ya.” They forced a purring tone to their voice.
Geez, a trash can with an attitude like that must have had some help or is just very lucky. “Uh...Yeah…” Enkodo's eye twitched “So█████████ ██████████████████████████████████████████████████████
“Well you summon your cards by just flicking your right hand and just think about what your symbol looks like. It should look like this “
Enkodo knocked on the railing of the staircase twice, the water on the floor forming a █████████“Everybody knows each other's symbol and what they look like. Just you can't say the name until you know them from the..Well I'm not sure how to pronounce it.
Sparta looked at ███████████████████████████“Took ya long enough.” The feline dismissed their cards “This is a death game. We all want out of this disgusting place and the last card gets to go home. Oh and at some point we do have to kill each other, we're just being friends for now.” Sparta giggled, their whole personality seemed to change from a dumb cat to a heartless █████████.
“Sorry for that, I mean we don't have to but who really knows.” The feline smiled, the kind glint in their eyes returning back. “I spared ya in the first place anyway.” Sparta chuckled.
Enkodo dismissed her deck “A HEM“ Enkodo called attention to herself. “We don't have time to chat right now but I'll offer you guys the directions to the next city, though this is the most friendliest place. It's not wise to stay here for long.” Enkodo set her hands on her hips.
Enkodo sighed “Well since the sky man is asleep, we'll be on a truce until he wakes up.” She walked towards a hallway that's hiding behind a statue “There's a guest room at the end. The flea bag is going to have to share a room with the dog. Which is the third room on the left.” Enkodo headed back upstairs “The kitchen is the room to the left.” She pointed towards the statue on the opposite side of the room. Enkodo went into what presumably was her room. The soft click of the door closing echoed around the place, leaving it in awkward silence.

“Be right back raiding the fridge.” Sparta padded off.
